WWE NXT: Maryse says 'au revoir' to Cannon
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE NXT: We're down to four rookies and all of them are looking to make an impression tonight as all are in action with Titus O'Neil battling Lucky Cannon in the main event where the season-long Maryse saga takes another twisting turn. Should be a good one!

And we are "LIVE!" from Roanoke, Va. Todd Grisham and William Regal are our commentators and Matt Striker and Maryse are our hosts. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).

JTG is in the ring. He here's to introduce us to his show, Straight Outta Brooklyn. He welcomes out the only other man with an eliminated rookie, Yoshi Tatsu. JTG said Maryse told him that she could be with him because he has a big bank account, but not Tatsu because his is teeny. Tatsu grabs the mic and says this show shouldn't be called Straight Outta Brooklyn, it should be called Straight Outta Yo Mama. JTG holds up Tatsu's arm and it looks like it's all over when JTG attacks Tatsu from behind.

JTG heads up the ramp when Matt Striker comes out and books JTG against Tatsu.

Match #1 - Yoshi Tatsu (Tokyo, Japan) vs. JTG (Brooklyn, NY)

Match already in progress as we come back. Tatsu fires up briefly but gets grounded by JTG, who locks in a headlock. Tatsu gets out and JTG puts him into the corner and charges, but Tatsu moves and starts landing a series of kicks and chops. Double knees in the corner and a spinning heel kick for Tatsu. He goes for the high kick but JTG ducks and clubs him in the back and takes over.

Tatsu, though, gets up and hits the high kick out of nowhere.

Winner via pinfall: Yoshi Tatsu

Match #2 - Chavo Guerrero & Darren Young vs. Vladimir Kozlov & Conor O'Brian

Guerrero and Young isolate O'Brian in their corner, working extensive double teams.

Young and Guerrero still in control. O'Brian finally fires up and gets the tag to Kozlov and here he comes. Headbutts from Kozlov to Young. Then he drops him across the top turnbuckle and kicks him in the gut. He tries to pull Guerrero into the ring but that allows Young to come from behind the clip his knee. Guerrero with a cheap shot behind the referee's back. Now Guerrero and Young isolate Kozlov in their corner.

Guerrero with a front headlock but Kozlov slowly pushes back and back drops Guerrero and both rookies tag in. O'Brian with a huge big boot and a flap jack. He goes for the cover but Guerrero breaks it up. Kozlov and O'Brian dispatch of Guerrero but as O'Brian walks back to Young, Young hits him with his finish and that's it.

Winners via pinfall: Chavo Guerrero & Darren Young

Match #3 - Titus O'Neil vs. Lucky Cannon

Cannon in control. He locks in a head lock but O'Neil gets out only to have Cannon send him to the outside. On the outside, Hornswaggle gives Maryse a candy bracelet in a box and starts humping her leg. She tries to get him to let go and he grabs onto her new purse that Cannon gave her (a $3,500 value) and it rips in half. Cannon starts yelling and Maryse hits him with the purse. He turns right into Clash of the Titus and that's it.

Winner via pinfall: Titus O'Neil
