WWE Tough Enough: Andy crowned champion, eats Stunner
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE Tough Enough: We're down to two as Andy and Luke battle to find out who will earn a WWE contract. Half of tonight's show is pre-taped at Florida Championship Wrestling and the other half live from the site of Raw. With Vince McMahon present, we find out who is going to be the next WWE superstar.

We go to Tampa, Fla., the home of Andy. He says since he's been back he's been trying to get back in the swing of things. While he was gone, he missed his daughter's first steps. His wife asks him how he feels about being in the finals with Luke and Andy says Luke's not in his league.

We see Andy's pregnant wife putting him through the paces physically. Andy calls Luke a turd in a toilet bowl and says he doesn't compare to him whatsoever.

Andy says he's got a lot of excitement right now.

We change scene to Auburn, Maine, Luke's hometown. We see him on a pontoon boat with a bunch of people getting liquered up. We see Luke's "caveman training" and him training in a ring in a local nightclub.

We see Luke talking to his mom and he's crying. Really.

He says he's going to be Luke at the finale. He says he brings the sizzle and the steak.

The scene shifts back to Tampa and the FCW training center. Andy and Luke walk in and see Bill DeMott and Ricky Steamboat standing in the ring. DeMott tells them they will spend the week training with Steamboat. Andy is pretty much marking out. DeMott says they'll have an exhibition match against him at the end of the week. He notes he said at the beginning they'd have to go through him to get to WWE and he's making good on his word.

They head off with Steamboat and evaluates them to put a game-plan together for each of them. They work out in the ring. Andy says Luke's a mechanic but he hopes he'll never have to see him again after this. Luke says Andy doesn't have his cockiness.

Luke says the week has been both physically and mentally challenging. Andy says he came to give his family a better life and DeMott is standing in his way.

They give their final thoughts and we see DeMott get introduced. It's on.

It's time for Luke and Andy's matches.

We get a music video package of the two matches. DeMott and Steamboat congratulate both of them after. It looks like it was the same match.

DeMott and Booker T walk to the back to talk to them after the match. Booker asks them if they feel they did their best. Andy says yes and Luke says he felt he could've done better. Booker says they should pat themselves on the back because they did a good job. DeMott and Booker tell them they'll see them live on Raw.

We are now live in Richmond, Va and Justin Roberts introduces Booker T, Trish Stratus and DeMott to the live crowd.

DeMott first introduces the eliminated contestants. Then Stratus brings out Andy and Luke and Booker introduces show host "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

Austin says it's been an amazing journey and thanks the trainers for their efforts. He says usually at the compound they go back to the office and talk things out. Tonight, they'll do it in the ring live. Austin asks DeMott and he says he'd go with Andy. Stratus says she's go with Andy, as well. Booker puts over Luke and then says Andy has the "it factor." Booker says the choice isn't up to him, it's up to Austin and he defers.

Austin begins his promo. He asks Luke what he thinks about Andy. Luke says he showed up each and every day with one intention: To become the next superstar. He asks Andy what he thinks of Luke. He says the guys who come into the ring are real athletes and not guys who played for the high school football team. He feels insulted that Luke is even in the ring with him.

Then, as Austin continues, none other than Vince McMahon rolls up to the arena in a limo. He exits and appears headed to ringside.

McMahon comes out and asks them what makes them think they should stand in the same ring as all the WWE legends. Andy starts and says "guaran-damn-tee" and Vince just cuts him off. Luke says love him or hate him he's here.

Vince says he's already made up his mind and knows what one is going to take a hike and which one is going to win. Austin is looking at him crooked and calls Vince out for saying he's going to pick the winner. He says Tough Enough is his show and he's the one who's going to pick the winner, not him. Vince tells him to go ahead.

Austin looks them over, gets a drumroll and waits. And waits. Until Andy starts going nuts. Austin declares the winner of Tough Enough, because he said so, is Andy.

Vince welcomes Andy to WWE and slaps him across the face, dropping him. Austin checks him over, congratulates him and gives him the Stunner.
