RAW: John Cena faces the Truth
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

Just how crazy is R-Truth? We’ll probably find out tonight as Monday Night RAW comes to us from Omaha, Nebraska. Word is Truth is going to challenge John Cena to a match. Also, we will find out why Kharma broke down in the ring last week after destroying Divas for a month.

The show starts off with some technical difficulties. I can’t hear R-Truth, but he is trashing a WWE merchandise stand. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler explain the R-Truth has been on the concourse destroying merchandise stands, and even blames the tech problem on him. Truth shows up in the crowd pointing out all the John Cena T-shirts. Truth harasses a family wearing Cena gear and then heads to the ring to spread his conspiracy theories.

WWE champion John Cena interrupts the rants, saying truth has gone off the deep end. Truth blames all the people and Cena; he is just short of saying that whitey is keeping the black man down. Cena and Truth agree to a match when the GM fires off an email. The GM wants to make the match official.

Match #1 – Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler w/ Vicki Guerrero

It’s nice to see that Dolph got his look back. And it serves him well. Dolph ducks Trouble in Paradise and counters the SOS to deliver the Zig Zag and pick up the win.

Winner via pinfall: Dolph Ziggler

Ricardo Rodriguez introduces Alberto Del Rio, who isn’t dressed for action. Del Rio rolls the footage of Show getting hit by his car, with Rodriguez in a spot shadow driving the car. Del Rio says it was an accident and wants Ricardo to explain what happened. He does, in Spanish. Del Rio tells Show that he brought this upon himself.

Eve and Kelly are stretching backstage.

Match #2 – Kelly Kelly and Eve vs. Brie and Nikki Bella

Kelly picks up the win after hitting Brie with the K2.

Winner pinfall: Kelly Kelly and Eve

Michael Cole is in the ring to interview Alex Riley, who has been re-signed to RAW, not that he ever left. Cole wants to know how Riley could to what he did to the Miz. Cole won’t shut up, saying The Miz is a friend of his, and Miz is now emotionally scarred. Cole wants Riley to justify his actions. Riley says he has never felt better. Cole wants Riley to beg The Miz for forgiveness. Cole calls Riley a bastard. A-Rye knocks Cole to the mat and then grabs him by the throat. Miz finally hits the ring, attacking Riley from behind. Riley fights back, beating Miz up the ramp and tossing him into the security barrier. Riley tosses Miz over the announce table, and Miz retreats through the crowd.

Match #3 – Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk w/ Mason Ryan

Mysterio is tossed out of the ring, but lands safely. Mysterio leaps to the apron, only to have Ryan push him into the ring post. We go to break.

After the break, Rey breaks out of a submission and connects with a head scissors. Punk is able to lock in a leg vice. Punk is knocked into the ropes, but slips out of the ring. Instead of the 619, Rey crashes into him with a suicide dive. Rey tosses Punk into the ring, and hits a seated senton. Punk kicks out at two. Punk fights back with a back breaker. Rey counters the GTS and sets up the 619. Ryan distracts Rey, allowing Punk to recover and then kick Rey in the back of the head. Punk covers and gets the win.

Winner via pinfall: CM Punk

Kharma is going to speak to why she broke down in the ring last week. She tells us she had two dreams, the first was to become a WWE superstar. Apparently, Jim Ross told her she as too fat to be a Diva. She went to Japan to train, and then wrestled in any promotion she could. Her other dream was to be a mother, and that dream will happen as she is pregnant. So Kharma will be taking some time off from the ring, and she will be back. The Bella Twins interrupt, and can’t believe she’s pregnant. They tell her she isn’t Diva material, and this devolves into “Mean Girls” territory. Kharma steps to the Bellas, and they scurry.

I can’t believe they are doing this again, but we get another presidential “press conference.”

Match #4 – Jack Swagger vs. Evan Bourne

Swagger isn’t happy that Bourne cut short his victory lap last week. Swagger beats down Bourne, and then both go over the top rope. Swagger drives Bourne into the apron, and then takes him out with a clothesline inside the ring. Swagger smacks Bourne around and then catches him with a side slam. Swagger picks Bourne up for the gut wrench, but Bourne counters and rolls through into a pin. Bourne gets the three count for the win.

Winner via pinfall: Evan Bourne

R-Truth is in the back talking to himself.

Match #5 – John Cena vs. R-Truth

Truth and Cena lock up, and Truth breaks it off and runs out of the ring. Truth kicks Cena in to the corner. Cena whips Truth across the ring and hits him with a bulldog. Truth rolls out to the floor.

After getting back in the ring, Truth is laid out with a clothesline. Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle, and Truth leaves the ring again, heading into the crowd. Cena goes after him. Truth decks Cena on the security barrier, and Truth rolls into the ring. The ref continues to count, and Cena is counted out. Truth picks up the cheap win.

Winner via countout: R-Truth

After the bell, Truth pays a visit to the family he harassed to start the show. He throws a soda at the father and runs off. Cena checks on the family as the show ends.
