WWE NXT: O'Neil, Young meet again
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE NXT: We're down to five rookies and each is in action tonight. In tonight's main event, Titus O'Neil meets Darren Young for approximately the 47th time this season, only this time, it's in a no disqualification match. Should be a good one!

And we are "LIVE!" from Spokane, Wash. Todd Grisham and William Regal are our commentators and Matt Striker and Maryse are our hosts. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).

Byron Saxton is out. He says he's come to the realization that he doesn't need his pro, Yoshi Tatsu. He says he can't related to a guy who is holding him back in his career, all because of a diva. He says he's taking control of his career and is going to win NXT himself. He says he's emancipating himself and declaring his independence. He says going forward everyone is going to address him as "Big League" Byron Saxton because he is bigger than everyone on this show.

Out comes Maryse. She says Saxton is a rookie and he doesn't make the rules, he listens. She says tonight, Tatsu is going to team with Saxton to face Tyson Kidd and Lucky Cannon. She also notes next week is the second elimination.

Match #1 - Tyson Kidd (Calgary, Alberta) & Lucky Cannon vs. Yoshi Tatsu (Tokyo, Japan) & Byron Saxton

Kidd and Cannon all over Tatsu as he tries to do things himself. He's sent to the outside by Kidd, who takes the ref, and Cannon gives him a big boot behind the referee's back.

More of the same. Kidd and Cannon are isolating Tatsu, working quick tags and really doing some work on him. Good teamwork. They're working the left arm of Tatsu. Tatsu finally starts gaining some momentum and has a clear lane to tag Saxton but he doesn't tag it. Cannon takes him up to the top turnbuckle and goes for a superplex but Tatsu pushes him off and hits a spinning heel kick from the top. Saxton begging for the tag. Tatsu finally comes over to him and goes for the tag but Saxton moves away. Kidd tries to charge Tatsu from behind but he moves and works a few kicks.

Tatsu is setting up the high kick when Saxton tags himself in. Tatsu confronts him and shoves him right into the Sharpshooter. Tatsu just watches it happen from the floor as Saxton taps.

Winners via submission: Tyson Kidd & Lucky Cannon

Saxton is giving Tatsu the business in the ring after the ring and pie-faces him. Tatsu lays him out with the high kick.

Match #2 - JTG (Brooklyn, NY) vs. Conor O'Brian (Grand Rapids, Mich.)

JTG sends O'Brian for a hard spill to the floor. JTG all over O'Brian. Side suplex connects for JTG. JTG mounts him in the corner and starts taunting everyone in town. He comes back to O'Brian and gets rolled up. That's it.

Winner via pinfall: Conor O'Brian

JTG beats him up after the match until Kozlov makes the save.

Match #3 - No Disqualification Match - Darren Young (Miami, Fla) vs. Titus O'Neil (Tampa, Fla.)

These two meet for the 47th time this season.

O'Neil starts to get going and hits a shoulderbreaker on Young but Chavo Guerrero breaks up the pin and starts putting the boots to O'Neil. Guerrero goes under the ring and grabs a chain. Backstage, Hornswaggles sees this and Hulks up. In the ring, Guerrero wraps the chain around his hand and body punches O'Neil. And here comes Hornswaggle. He runs around them allowing O'Neil to hit a double clothesline. O'Neil uses Hornswaggle as a battering ram to send Guerrero to the outside. Then he hits the Clash of Titus on Young before lining him up for the Tadpole Splash from Hornswaggle. That's it.

Winner via pinfall: Titus O'Neil
