WWE Tough Enough: Ankle injures hit 2 contestants hard
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE Tough Enough: Not one, but two members of the cast are felled by ankle injuries on this edition of the show. One comes up with a fractured ankle while the fate of the second one is unknown. With one, possibly two castmembers going down, the cast is looking awfully thin.

We see AJ arriving back at the house. He says he doesn't feel redeemed because he survived. He wants to show everyone what he can do. He alerts his housemates what happened. That Steve Austin took two belts, not one.

We see Christina and Trish Stratus practicing yoga outside the house. THey are talking shop. Stratus says she felt Christina, being the last female standing, needed some girl time. Christina says she's trying to be really strong but she just wants to take that strong suit off every once in a while. Stratus says she's really proud of Christina. Christina says she's accomplished so much, so it's not time to make any small mistakes.

It's off to the training center and Austin says this week, they're going to talk about creativity. It's about technique and safety. He wants them to execute moves but put their own flair on them.

Jeremiah is struggling a bit and Bill DeMott reminds him this is the WWE, not MMA.

Now they're working on throwing each other out of the ring. Austin says they all look like "a bunch of god damn riffraff" when being thrown out of the ring. The trainers are not happy with what they're seeing. Austin calls it an absolutely horrendous workout. He says he thinks they froze up when trying to add the creative part. Stratus says they were being creative dead-asses.

Andy clocks Luke right in the nose and then throws him recklessly out of the ring. DeMott says Andy is creatively taking himself out of it. Luke says that was one of the scariest moments of his life.

Andy is on the computer watching a video of his little girl. Andy says it laid his mind at ease a little bit.

With everyone having an off day, Stratus says she had a little surprise in store for them: Out of a limo pop the Bella Twins, Eve and Kelly Kelly. And they have bottles of champagne. They catch all the guys as they're coming out of the shower.

All the guys dress up and they all head out in the limo. Jeremiah has a twin on each arm. AJ says the dinner is just what they needed. Jeremiah offers to get them some real drinks and Andy declines because of his commitment to his wife and daughter. Luke throughly mocks this.

The Bellas ask who was in the last bottom three. AJ answers and gets tips from the Bellas on how to work the crowd. Jeremiah asks a Bella to slap him. She does. Hard. And again. Luke runs over like a little schoolgirl and gets slapped. Then he and Jeremiah take turns slapping each other.

Austin has taken everyone to THQ to take them through the WWE All Stars video game. Everyone is making their own characters. We see their characters on screen and they battle each other. Jeremiah beats Christina. AJ faces Luke and Martin faces Andy. Austin asks each of them a few questions about their characters and how they made it.

The THQ executive says Luke's character was the best.

It's back to the gym for a nighttime training session. Christina says she feels like she's carrying her own weight in the competition.

AJ again gets called out on a lack of creativity. Booker says he has almost no time to get his act together.

They are working on kickouts when Martin stumbles and says he heard something pop. The trainer works on him and asks him to stand and he can barely do it, eventually having to sit back down. DeMott tells him to get ice on it and pay attention. Martin says he can't put any pressure on it. He can't stand on it, period. He says he hopes it's sprained so he can wrap it up and get back in there.

Martin has to leave practice and go to the hospital for an X-ray.

Austin takes him to the office and offers him some words of encouragement. Austin tells Martin to look behind him at the belts on the wall. He says he took those belts from those people because they weren't Tough Enough. He tells Martin he's not going to take his belt because he is Tough Enough. He says he's going to allow Martin to be the only one who gets to put his own belt on the wall.

Martin hangs up his belt and says his goodbyes. Everyone gives him a standing ovation as he leaves the training center. Martin assures us he will be back.

It's time for the skills challenge. They'll have two minutes to show what they've learned but they have to do one move off the top rope during this time. DeMott takes Christina aside and tells her this is her time to shut a lot of people up.

We start with Christina against AJ. Christina goes to the top rope and comes down with a double ax-handle and hurts herself. It's her ankle. DeMott and Booker say they both thought it was going to be a crossbody, but AJ got in way too close so Christina had to change it up. AJ says this has turned into a nightmare. Andy says, yeah, he wants to beat Christina, but not like that. Luke says another one bites the dust, today was a 2-for-1 special.

DeMott says AJ caused something that didn't need to happen. He's mad. They load Christina into the van and take her to the hospital. Austin says no elimination today.
