Impact: Network rep soon to be revealed
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on TNA Impact: This week's episode is a bit of a holding pattern because next week, we find out who the network rep is and who exactly Kurt Angle's mistress is. On tonight's show, Robert Roode gets all fired up about Hulk Hogan and Mickie James defends her TNA Knockouts Championship for the first time.

Like usual, tonight's taped show emanates from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Fla. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

Immortal is in the ring and Sting and Rob Van Dam are walking aggressively down the ramp, but the TNA road agents come down and get between them.

Hogan talks about the network rep that Sting has been talking about. He says he's not going down the road with Sting and his head games and says Sting better tell him who the rep is now or they'll get wiped out. Sting says he doesn't have to tell Hogan anything because there will be a network rep here next week.

Hogan gets upset when Sting says it'll be a he, then a she, and decks D-Lo Brown. Immortal attacks the agents, but Sting, RVD and Fortune make the save and run them off. Robert Roode grabs the mic and says it's time for Hogan to start listening to someone else and that's him and the time is right now. Roode says he has something Hogan doesn't: Pride. Roode brings up how Hogan is destroying TNA and actually brings up how "Hogan fired" Jay Lethal. Roode says he's the man who's going to stand up to Hogan because next week, things are going to change. Next week, everything's going to change.

Match #1 - Suicide (Parts Unknown) vs. Sangriento (Tijuana, Mexico)

Real fast, action-packed match here. Spin kick for Sangriento but Suicide hits a dropkick for two. Sangriento responds with a kick to the back of the head and then comes off the middle rope with a head scissors. Suicide responds by putting Sangriento face-first into the middle turnbuckle. He looks for the finish but Sangriento come off the second rope with a springboard into a cutter. That's it. Nice!

Winner via pinfall: Sangriento

Match #2 - Bully Ray (New York City) & Gunner (Atlanta, Ga.) vs. AJ Styles (Gainesville, Ga.) & Daniels (Los Angeles, Calif.)

Ray wants no part of Styles early. Styles and Daniels run wild early but Gunner takes over on Daniels. Daniels hits a flying forearm and brings in Styles. Two clotheslines for Styles and then the springboard forearm. Gunner, though, rakes the eyes, but ends up eating the Pele. Styles goes for the springboard 450 but Ray shakes the ropes and then clotheslines Daniels.

Ray picks up his chain and is yelling at Styles when Tommy Dreamer runs out. He yells at Ray before picking up Styles and giving him the piledriver.

This match is a no contest

Jeff and Karen Jarrett are out. Karen calls out Velvet Sky, thinking she is going to be Kurt Angle's mistress. The crowd chants "sloppy seconds." At who, I don't know. Karen says almost every Knockout has been champion except for Velvet. Karen says Velvet's been laying down quite a bit. She talks about Velvet's relationship with Angle and Velvet says "what relationship?"

Velvet gets the mic and says she has no idea what Karen is talking about. She says she'd never sleep with someone to get ahead, which is Karen's style. Velvet says she has business to attend to and Karen accuses her of going to be with Angle.

Karen says Jarrett has arranged for a handicap match tonight with Angelina Love and Winter facing Velvet. Winter and Angelina come to the ring.

Karen tells Winter to take Velvet out when Kurt Angle's music hits. Angle says the network rep he spoke to trumped Hogan and Bischoff. It's going to be a mixed tag handicap match. Angle says he's going to be in Velvet's corner and Jarrett in their corner.

Match #3 - Loser Leaves Immortal - Rob Terry vs. Murphy

Match #4 - TNA Knockouts Championship - (c) Mickie James (Richmond, Va.) vs. Miss Tessmacher (Houston, Texas)

James with a dropkick. They trade shots in the centre of the ring. Tessmacher tries a victory roll but James kicks out at two. Tessmacher goes to work on the shoulder. James fires up from the mat but Tessmacher delivers a vicious knee to the stomach. James, though, gets going and hits a neckbreaker. She follows that up with the jumping DDT and that's it.

Winner via pinfall and STILL TNA Knockouts Champion: Mickie James

James goes to celebrate when Madison Rayne's music hits. She says she offered Mickie a rematch out of the goodness of her heart, and she wants the favor returned at Sacrifice. James accepts, but on one condition. She wants to know what Rayne is going put on the line. Rayne says she'll do anything. Mickie says if Rayne wins, she gets the title. If she wins, Tara is free from Rayne's grasp. Rayne accepts.

Match #5 - Winter, Angelina Love (Toronto, Ontario) & Jeff Jarrett (Hendersonville, Tenn.) vs. Velvet Sky & Kurt Angle (Pittsburgh, Pa.)

It's all Knockouts action so far as Angelina and Winter dominate Velvet. The crowd chants "We want Angle!" Velvet, though, becomes slippery and brings in Angle and Jarrett. Angle is a house of fire. Belly-to-belly suplex for Angle. He goes for the Angle Slam but Jarrett counters into an arm drag and then a DDT for two.

Jarrett goes for a sunset flip but Angle rolls through and locks in the ankle lock. Jarrett goes for the ropes and Karen tries to pull him closer, but Angle just pulls him back, bringing Karen into the ring. For some reason, Velvet tags herself in with Jarrett in trouble because she wants to go after Karen, who isn't even in the match. She stalks Karen when Winter and Angelina attack her, since one of them is legal.

Velvet, though hits a double DDT and then covers Winter and gets the pin.

Winners via pinfall: Velvet Sky & Kurt Angle

Angle grabs the mic and wishes Velvet the best in her quest for the Knockouts title. Then he says Velvet isn't the chosen one and the chosen one is something Karen can't even fathom. He says she'll be here next week.
