Impact: Will Anderson head to the dark side?
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on TNA Impact: Is Mr. Anderson joining Immortal? After being recruited by the group, Anderson is made the guest referee in the non-title match between Sting and Rob Van Dam. What actions will he take? Also, Daniels continues his revenge tour as he faces Bully Ray in a lumberjack match.

Like usual, tonight's taped show emanates from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Fla. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

Fortune, with Christopher Daniels, is out to start the show. Daniels says his relationship with TNA has been rocky and he's been in and out so many times it feels like there's a revolving door with his name on it. He talks about his friendship with AJ Styles and how he saw what Bully Ray did to AJ a few weeks back. He said he realized it was time to come back to TNA. He wants to join Fortune at Lethal Lockdown and be the fourth member of the team.

Naturally, this promo is interrupted by Immortal. Abyss, Bully Ray, Matt Hardy and Ric Flair are out. Flair says they are past the point of no return. He says he doesn't even know who Daniels is. He says the rest of Fortune made a mistake siding with Styles instead of him. Flair says he's going to give Daniels a chance to walk out of TNA forever because if he doesn't, someone's going to get hurt at Lethal Lockdown.

Daniels says Flair can take his offer and stick it. Flair says Daniels doesn't even have a contract, so he's being given the boot. Daniels says Flair doesn't know everything and The Network wants him here. The mere mention of The Network brings Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff out.

Hogan says if The Network wants Daniels on TV, then they want him on TV. He says if The Network wants Daniels to have a contract, Bischoff will give him one. Hogan says Daniels is in Lethal Lockdown, but says he runs this place and Daniels is going to have to face Bully Ray tonight.

Ray starts talking trash to Daniels, saying he's got balls but no brains. He runs him down. Daniels responds with a swift right hand. They all start brawling until security breaks them up. Does security break up people fighting in every segment on this show?

Match #1 - Hernandez (Houston, Texas) & Anarchia (Mexico) vs. Tommy Dreamer (Yonkers, NY) & Devon (New York City)

Devon with a Thesz Press on Hernandez as Anarchia sends Dreamer into the ring post. Rosita steps into the ring and Devon plants a big kiss on her. Devon hits the ropes only to be hit by a chair by Anarchia as the referee takes care of Sarita. That's it.

Winners via pinfall: Hernandez & Anarchia

After the match, Hernandez is going to give Dreamer a Border Toss over the top rope onto the concrete below but Matt Morgan comes down. Hernandez scarifies Anarchia to escape from Morgan. Get pumped for Lockdown.

Match #2 - Samoa Joe (Isle of Samoa) vs. Murphy (Parts Unknown)

Joe locks in the rear-naked choke literally 30 seconds in and Murphy taps. What was the point of that?

Match #3 - TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship: (c ) Sarita & Rosita vs. Angelina Love & Velvet Sky

Angelina is still in trance from Winter. Velvet in and she is going to town on Rosita. Velvet goes for the tag but Angelina is just standing there looking off into the distance. Winter comes out to the ramp, makes a sign to break, so Angelina attacks Velvet. Rosita picks the scraps.

The champ is out. Sting takes the mic and calls Rob Van Dam out. I don't even think Sting was all the way done saying the man's name when RVD's music hits. You know, guys, I don't think this pro-wrestling thing is completely on the level.

Sting says he came back to TNA to stop Hogan and Bischoff, but along the way, he's been distracted by RVD and Anderson. RVD says he was on the undercards when Sting was main eventing back in the day but now, he's the Whole F'n Show. And they are interrupted. I think three things are guaranteed in life now: Death, taxes and a promo being interrupted in TNA.

The people interrupting this time are Hogan and Bischoff. Hogan books RVD against Sting tonight.

Match #4 - Max Buck, Jeremy Buck & Robbie E. vs. Brian Kendrick, Chris Sabin & Suicide

Max grabs Suicide from behind and that allows Robbie to take control. Max in now. He orders Jeremy in the ring and now the Bucks using quick tags. Tags get a little too quick as Max tags himself in off Jeremy right after Jeremy came in. This backfires as Suicide fires up and brings in Kendrick. It's all breaking down now. Jeremy blind tags Max, hits a kick and goes to the top but Max crotches his own partner, screams "what are you doing?" and then hits a DDT off the top. Kendricks pins him.

Winners via pinfall: Brian Kendrick, Chris Sabin & Suicide

Match #6 - Lumberjack Match - Bully Ray vs. Daniels

Bully Ray grabs his chain but eats a boot from Daniels. Daniels using his speed and knocks Ray off his feet with a flying forearm. Daniels to the second rope and he hits a headscissors takeover. Ray, though, comes out of the corner with a vicious clothesline. Ray misses a clothesline and Daniels goes to the top and hits the BME but Flair pulls the referee out. It was over. Ray rolls to the outside as the two teams argue on the outside when Hogan comes out and hits Daniels with the chain. Ray pins him.

Winner via pinfall: Bully Ray

Jeff Jarrett is out and a cage surrounds the ring. Jarrett says he's seen a lot of gutless acts from Kurt Angle. He's amazed at the lengths Angle has gone to, but it could be a blessing in disguise for him. Jarrett says if he would've beaten Angle within an inch of his life again, the law would've arrested him. He says when Angle gets out of prison, good luck and that he and Karen have decided they won't be subjecting the kids to Kurt's thug life anymore and that they need more Daddy Jeff. He says he's going to bring out Karen but Angle's music hits instead.

Angle comes flying using Suicide's entrance and orders the completion of the cage (one side was not up). Jarrett, though, quickly escapes and runs to the back.

Match #7 - Rob Van Dam (Battle Creek, Mich.) vs. Sting (Venice Beach, Calif.)

Mr. Anderson is your special guest referee.

Sting hits the Scorpion Death Drop but Anderson grabs him and delivers the Mic Check. Anderson starts counting them. He fast counts them but RVD gets up. He pulls Sting into the middle of the ring and hits the Five-Star Frog Splash. Into the cover and Anderson counts it.

Winner via pinfall: Rob Van Dam

Anderson calls for the belt and plasters RVD with it. Then Murphy and Rob Terry come down the ramp clapping. Could Mr. Anderson be joining Immortal? They lift Anderson on their shoulders as Hogan comes out on the ramp clapping. They exchange blown kisses. They put Anderson down and he hits Terry with the lead pipe he had. He gives Murphy the Mic Check and then gives the same to Terry. Anderson gloats as Hogan seethes. Anderson yells to Hogan that he's next.
