Superstars: Tatsu, Smith are not DZP
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE Superstars: Last week, the term "DZP" was coined: "Down with Zack and Primo." This week, Zack Ryder and Primo look to continue their reign as WWE's hottest tag team in a return match with Yoshi Tatsu and David Hart Smith. Should be a good one!

This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG, V)

Match #1 - Zack Ryder (Long Island, NY) & Primo (San Juan, Puerto Rico) vs. Yoshi Tatsu (Tokyo, Japan) & David Hart Smith (Calgary, Alberta)

Ryder's got a mic. He says he woke up this morning with a sweet tan and a huge smile on his face. Why? Because he and Primo are the hottest tag team in WWE. Primo adds they're the only undefeated team in WWE. He says nothing is going to stop them from going to WrestleMania. Woo Woo Woo, You Know It.

This is a return match from last week's contest in Detroit.

Some nice mat wrestling early with Tatsu getting the best of it. Tatsu gets Primo reeling with a Japanese armdrag and then he lights him up with two chops. He sends Primo off the ropes but Primo hangs on and Smith eats a foot. Ryder in but he immediately takes an armdrag. Tatsu and Primo back in and they have a chop battle. Like, a long one. Haven't seen one of those in a while. Tatsu gets the best of it but a Ryder distraction allows Primo to grab Tatsu and suplex him over the top rope and to the floor. While there, Ryder adds insult to injury with a kick.

We're back and Primo and Ryder are in control. Neckbreaker connects for Ryder. And another. This one gets him a two count. Ryder cranks a headlock now. Tatsu fires out and goes for a sunset flip but Ryder tags Primo beforehand and Primo dropkicks Tatsu in the back. Primo charges Tatsu in the corner but ends up putting himself in a tree of woe. He escapes but Tatsu tags Smith and Primo tags Ryder.

Smith running wild. Leg drop connects for two and then the standing vertical suplex but Primo makes the save. Tatsu dispatches of him and slingshots onto him. Smith tags Tatsu and he hits a spinning heel kick and a back drop. Ryder ducks the high kick but Tatsu immediately fires another one and this time it connects.

Winners via pinfall: Yoshi Tatsu & David Hart Smith

Match #2 - Melina (Los Angeles, Calif.) vs. Tamina (San Francisco, Calif.)

Tamina hits a slingshot and then a body slam. Tamina working the left arm and then she hits a back elbow. Referee checking on Melina's nose and she complains about it but it's a ruse and she kicks Tamina. Tamina, though, regains control and hits a backbreaker. Clothesline followed by a dropkick and a headbutt for Tamina. Melina, though, quickly takes over and hits the Sunset Split and that'll do it.

Winner via pinfall: Melina

Match #3 - JTG (Brooklyn, NY) & Trent Barreta (Mount Sinai, NY) vs. Curt Hawkins (Queens, NY) & Tyler Reks (Laguna, Calif.)

Reks and Hawkins isolate JTG. JTG struggling to try to bring in Barreta but Hawkins is successful in keeping him away. Reks locks in a chinlock with a knee in the back, partially bending JTG. He slowly works his way to his knees but Reks shuts him right back down. Hawkins misses a corner charge and JTG hits him with a flapjack. JTG struggling to the corner. Hawkins gets a leg but is kicked off and in comes Barreta.

He's on fire. He comes in with a springboard dropkick and Hawkins ducks and allows him to hit Reks. Hawkins drills Barreta with the Taste of Pain but doesn't hook the leg and gets two. Hawkins to the top but Barreta crotches him and JTG takes out Reks. Barreta follows up but Hawkins shoves him down and hits the top rope elbow and that's it.

Winners via pinfall: Curt Hawkins & Tyler Reks

Following the match, Hawkins and Reks exchange words and Reks attacks and hits Hawkins with the Burning Hammer and leaves him laying.
