Superstars: Tatsu, Kidd put on great show
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE Superstars: It seems like a broken record, but the Raw talent once again outshines the Smackdown side of things. In our two Raw matches, Zack Ryder and Primo team up to battle David Hart Smith and Darren Young and, in the main event, Yoshi Tatsu and Tyson Kidd engage in a great battle. Should be a good one!

This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG, V)

Match #1 - JTG (Brooklyn, NY) vs. Chavo Guerrero (El Paso, Texas)

Guerrero throws JTG to the floor and goes to work out there. He hits an uppercut and throws JTG back into the ring and comes back in with a slingshot rolling splash. Chinlock for Guerrero now. JTG rises up but Guerrero puts an end to that brief hope with a stout dropkick. Side suplex hits for Guerrero. This is all Guerrero right now. Front headlock for Guerrero but JTG rams him into the turnbuckles and then hits a back drop.

JTG starting to move now but Guerrero again cuts him off with a Northern Lights Suplex. JTG counters a suplex and dropkicks Guerrero into the corner. From there, he hits the Mugshot and then lines Guerrero up and puts him away with Da Shout Out.

Winner via pinfall: JTG

Match #2 - Chris Masters (Los Angeles, Calif.) vs. Curt Hawkins (Queens, NY)

Hawkins takes control by slipping out of the ring and tripping Masters, who falls right on his face. Then, out of almost nowhere, Masters hits a boot to Hawkins' face, shrugs off a Hawkins boot and then locks in the Masterlock and finishes it.

Winner via submission: Chris Masters

Match #3 - Zack Ryder (Long Island, NY) & Primo (San Juan, Puerto Rico) vs. David Hart Smith (Calgary, Alberta) & Darren Young (Miami, Fla.)

Smith gets rolling on Primo with a slam and a power bomb but a distraction by Ryder allows Primo to clip the knee and bring in Ryder. He does some stuff and brings Primo back in. Headlock in for Primo. Smith to a vertical base and he punches his way out of it. Primo puts Smith back down, though, with a back elbow and he and Ryder go back to work on the left leg.

That doesn't last long, though, as Smith hits Primo with a nice belly-to-belly throw. Both men make tags. Young sends Ryder flying with a back drop. Gutbuster lands. Then it all breaks down. Smith goes flying at Primo and Primo low bridges him. Young clotheslines Primo over the top and turns right into the RoughRyder from Ryder. That'll do it. Zack Ryder wins a match!

Winners via pinfall: Zack Ryder & Primo

Match #4 - Yoshi Tatsu (Tokyo, Japan) vs. Tyson Kidd (Calgary, Alberta)

Kidd working the left left and ankle. He's really working it over. Bending it back at a bad angle. He tries to trash talk Tatsu but gets punched in the face for it. Kidd all over it but Tatsu is able to use his right leg to send Kidd flying out of the ring. He can't follow up, though. With Tatsu still down, Kidd tries the springboard elbow but Tatsu moves and starts to get moving. Spinning heel kick hits but Tatsu can't follow up due to his leg. He hits a Northern Lights Suplex but can't hold the bridge due to his bum leg.

Tatsu goes to the top, very slowly. Kidd slow to rise but Tatsu crashes and burns with the spinning heel kick from the top as Kidd moves out of the way. Kidd, cocky as ever, steps through for the Sharpshooter, but Tatsu rolls him up and pins him!

Winner via pinfall: Yoshi Tatsu

Kidd is in disbelief following the loss. Tremendous match and finish to cap off another solid edition of Superstars.
