Superstars: Daniel Bryan, Tyson Kidd are good
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE Superstars: Tonight's main event is a definite keeper. In one of the better matches in Superstars history, Daniel Bryan and Mark Henry battle Ted DiBiase and Tyson Kidd in an excellent tag team match. Also on the show, two of WWE's most underrated talents meet when Yoshi Tatsu battles Zack Ryder. Should be a good one!

This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG, V)

Match #1 - JTG (Brooklyn, NY) vs. Tyler Reks (Laguna Beach, Calif.)

Reks takes a walk after taking a brief beating. JTG tries to slingshot but Reks grabs his legs. JTG counters with a swinging kick. Back in the ring, JTG comes off the ropes and runs right into a knee to the midsection. Then Reks brings him over and pulls him into the post. Reks with a body scissors, which play-by-play man Jack Korpela can't identify. Wow. Bearhug now for Reks. He's working over the midsection. Reks drops down for a backdrop but JTG drops down for a punch. They trade in the centre of the ring but Reks shuts that down with a kick to the midsection. JTG, though, fires right back with a kick. JTG going for quick pins but can't get anything.

Flying forearm for JTG and then he turns around and throws Reks back-of-the-head-first into the turnbuckle. He gets two. Reks rolls to the apron and JTG goes after him but Reks necks him on the rope and then hits the Burning Hammer. That's it.

Winner via pinfall: Tyler Reks

Match #2 - Chris Masters (Los Angeles, Calif.) vs. Curt Hawkins (Queens, NY)

Hawkins works the arm but Masters makes a comeback with a one-arm Samoan drop. Chops by Masters and then he plants Hawkins. Masters to the second rope with a big shoulder block. He calls for the Masterlock but Hawkins runs him into the turnbuckle. Hawkins climbs the ropes back-first and Masters grabs him and locks in the Masterlock. Hawkins goes out.

Winner via submission: Chris Masters

Match #3 - Yoshi Tatsu (Tokyo, Japan) vs. Zack Ryder (Long Island, NY)

This should be a good match. I like these two.

Tatsu sends Ryder to the floor and then comes over the top with a slingshot crossbody. Crowd chants "Yoshi!" but Ryder stops Tatsu from climbing the ropes and wrings him on the top rope, sending him to the outside. Tatsu slowly rolls back into the ring and Ryder puts the boots to him. He then puts a knee in his throat and is admonished by the referee, to which he yells "I know the rules!" Awesome.

Ryder goes to work on Tatsu's back. Tatsu to the corner and Ryder comes and eats a kick. Then Tatsu absolutely lights Ryder up with a chop and then sidesteps him and sends him into the post. More chops for Tatsu. Kicks to the body for Tatsu and then a running knee into the corner. Tatsu goes for a spinning heel kick but Ryder ducks it and hits a neckbreaker for two. Ryder lines him up for the RoughRyder but Tatsu ducks it and hits the big head kick and that's all she wrote.

Winner via pinfall: Yoshi Tatsu

Match #4 - Daniel Bryan (Aberdeen, Wash.) & Mark Henry (Silsbee, Texas) vs. Ted DiBiase (West Palm Beach, Fla) & Tyson Kidd (Calgary, Alberta)

Bryan monkey flips Kidd and Kidd lands on his feet and gloats, but then Bryan drills him with a dropkick. Great. Henry beats down both Kidd and DiBiase and then he clotheslines them over the top. He tags in Bryan and Henry press slams him over the top onto both Kidd and DiBiase. Crowd going nuts.

We're back and DiBiase and Kidd have Bryan isolated in their corner. Bryan tries to break out but DiBiase hits him with a backbreaker and a dropkick. Heels with underhanded cheating with the referee distracted in their corner. Kidd works a headlock but Bryan stands. They hit the ropes and each hit a crossbody. Bryan gets to Henry and brings him in. Headbutt for Henry and then a big slam. He goes for the splash but Kidd barely gets out of the way in time. DiBiase in and he goes to work on Henry. Henry is able to fire up and get the tag to Bryan. DiBiase in for the heels.

Bryan goes to work. He's fired up, as is this crowd. Corner dropkick connects for two. Bryan to the top and he comes down but DiBiase dropkicks him out of the air and brings in Kidd. Kidd goes for the Sharpshooter but Bryan rolls through for two. He goes for the LeBelle Lock and almost has it locked in when DiBiase kicks him in the face. Henry dispatches of DiBiase. Kidd with a spin kick but Bryan hits a dropkick. He goes for the LeBelle Lock again but Kidd throws him into the turnbuckle and hits the rebounding Bryan with a fisherman's neckbreaker and gets the fall. Upset!

Winners via pinfall: Tyson Kidd & Ted DiBiase
