WWE with another noble effort at "Tribute to the Troops"
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

After several years of heading overseas, WWE is staying stateside for this year's edition of "Tribute to the Troops" in front of a large crowd in Texas. The show was another solid effort from WWE, who put on a good, fun show from those in attendance.

Tonight's show emanates from Fort Hood, Texas. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler are our hosts in front of an estimated 50,000 people.

To start things off, Diddy Dirty Money performs "Comin' Home." Following the performance, Diddy thanks the troops for their efforts.

Taylor Swift is next and she also thanks the troops.

Match #1 - Kofi Kingston & Big Show vs. Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler

Show and Ziggler start things off. Show lights him up with chops to the chest. Ziggler's down and Show stands on his chest sans use of the ropes. He brings in Kingston. Kingston counters a Ziggler arm drag with a nice monkey flip. Kingston tries to springboard in the ring but Ziggler takes the ref and Swagger pulls him down and Kingston hits his head hard on the apron.

Ziggler goes for a Fameasser but Kingston hops up and power bombs him. Both men tag their partners and Swagger runs right into a big boot. Then Swagger runs into Show's big butt. Ziggler comes flying in and Show throws him in the air. Kingston clotheslines Ziggler and Show hits Swagger with the choke slam for the pin.

Winners via pinfall: The Big Show & Kofi Kingston
