WWE NXT: Aksana sent packing as ridiculousness grows
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE NXT: As Michael Cole says to open every show: "Welcome to the resistance." We have only a few more precious weeks of NXT ahead of us and tonight's episode ranks right up there with some of the worst in series history. The ridiculousness is off the charts here as another rookie diva goes home. Should be a good one!

And we are "LIVE!" from Richmond, Va. Cole and Josh Mathews are our commentators and Matt Striker is our host. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).

Per usual, Striker welcomes the NXT rookies to the ring. The first competition is called "How Well Do You Know Your WWE Pro?" This should be a doozy.

The pros are asks to complete the question: "When I first saw my rookie I thought she was _____."

AJ is asked what Primo put and she says "underage." Primo actually wrote "16 years old." Aksana says Goldust wrote "hot." Goldust wrote "sexy." Striker gives it to her. Kaitlyn says Vickie Guerrero thinks "was so much prettier than her." Vickie wrote "a man." Naomi says Kelly Kelly says "athletic." She did.

It's time to rate the in-ring ability. Naomi says Kelly thought she was a 5. That's what she wrote. Kaitlyn says Vickie gave her a 1, but it was a 3. Aksana says Goldust gave her a 5, but it was a 3. AJ says Primo gave her a 4 and it was a 4.

Now it's "who does your rookie feel should be eliminated tonight?" AJ says Aksana. Primo wrote down Aksana. Aksana says Kaitlyn. Goldust says AJ. Kaitlyn says Naomi and Vickie has written Naomi. Naomi says Aksana but Kelly has Kaitlyn.

That means AJ is the winner.

Match #1 - Naomi vs. Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn with an arm submission early on. Kaitlyn runs into a big kick but she returns the favor in a way with a big clothesline. Naomi off the top with a crossbody but Kaitlyn kicks out.

Backbreaker connects for Kaitlyn for two. Kaitlyn comes running out of the corner and eats a dropkick and that's enough for the fall.

Winner via pinfall: Naomi

Aksana walks up to Goldust backstage and compares their marriage to Lord of the Rings. She wants to say sorry and gives him some sunflowers. She wants Goldust's help tonight. He thinks it over and says yes after she sweet talks him some more.

Match #2 - AJ vs. Aksana

Leg scissors for Aksana but AJ bucks out and locks in a hammerlock but Aksana runs forward and sends AJ flying out of the ring. Aksana welcomes AJ back in the ring but as she steps in she grabs her hair and throws her back out. Aksana with a modified camel clutch that looks like it hurts. AJ gets out and starts to fire up. Two clotheslines connect but then Aksana hits a back elbow. AJ then hops on Aksana's back and locks in a very different shoulder lock and Aksana taps!

Winner via submission: AJ

It's time for our final competition and it is "Diss the Diva." This was not good last time.

AJ is up first. She goes up-and-down. She tells Aksana she tapped out. She says the world wouldn't know her name if not for Vickie Guerrero. She says Naomi is athletic but her personality is like a drippy faucet. She says this has been their dream for the last few months, but it's been hers for a lifetime.

Aksana is up next. This is incomprehensible.

Kailtyn says if this was like high school, Naomi would be the jock, Aksana would be the weird exchange student, AJ is the nerd and she's the prom queen. She says Aksana doesn't know what USA stands for. She says it stands for "U Suck Aksana." Then Aksana attacks her. They have a pull-apart and Cole makes a crack about Johnny Ace's whereabouts and if he's going to trip on the rope like he did on Raw.

Naomi says Kaitlyn has good legs, but too bad her wrestling career isn't as good. She then "roasts" AJ and Aksana.

Time for the crowd to determine the winner. The crowd picks Naomi to win, although I would've picked Kaitlyn.

With Naomi's win, AJ wins immunity.

Before our elimination, Striker asks the pros of their opinions. Nikki Bella goes off. Alicia Fox says she's an employee at Diva Day Care. She says this is not Disney. Wow. This was awful.

It's time for tonight's elimination. Of course, AJ has immunity, so the rookie diva that's going home is Aksana.

Aksana falls to the floor. She says this is a mistake. She says she's going to fight and go to Mr. Vince McMahon's office and write a letter. I am not making this up.

Goldust stops her going up the ramp and says he has one thing to say to her: "I want a divorce."

That'll do it.
