WWE NXT: Head-scratching show carries on
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE NXT: WWE's weekly comedy hour continues this week with a show that features zero matches and only two challengers that bookend a bunch of filler. We get ready for our first elimination next week when the show moves to WWE.com in the United States. Also, a rookie challenges a pro to a match. Should be a good one!

And we are TAPED! from Bloomington, Ill. Michael Cole and Josh Mathews are our commentators and Matt Striker is our host. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).

Striker welcomes out all the rookie divas and it's competition time. It's the wheelbarrow challenge. Simply enough, you race the wheelbarrow around the ring. Fastest time wins.

Maxine is about to go when Striker says this is too easy. He then brings out Hornswaggle to sit in the wheelbarrow. If he falls out, the rookie diva is disqualified.

Maxine finishes at 14.7 seconds. Naomi finishes at 15.2. Jamie finishes at 14.4. Kaitlyn finishes at 12 seconds flat. AJ finishes at 17.7. Aksana finishes at 14.9. That means Kaitlyn wins her second challenge.

It's time for "Diss the Diva." Aksana says "all the rookies want to be like Aksana." AJ says it's about time they redefined the word "diva." She says divas can like video games and comic books. She says she's a diva that loves this business, "unlike everybody in the ring."

Kaitlyn wants to do an impression of Naomi, sticking her butt out. Naomi kicks her in it. That's about it. Jamie buries Aksana and AJ. Naomi gets in Kaitlyn's face about things she said about her. Maxine says she's sick of the typical diva who is overly perky and nice and smiles when they lose. While Maxine is talking, AJ and Kaitlyn do the robot together and then play pattycake.

Well, the winner of this underwhelming edition of "Diss the Diva" is AJ, who narrowly edges out Naomi.

AJ is celebrating when Vickie Guerrero comes down and berates Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn says she's tried her hardest and all Vickie has done has brought her down. She challenges Vickie to a match. Vickie asks her if she knows who she's dealing with. She accepts the challenge for next week. She says she's going to prove that she is the pro. She then slaps Kaitlyn and they brawl, which might've been better than some of the recent brawls on Impact. See you on WWE.com next week.
