RAW: New GM wants peace, and that's the bottom line
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

Everyone wants to know who is the General Manager of RAW? Maybe tonightís show from Nashville, Tennessee will shed some light on that question. The emails havenít provided any clues, but maybe tonight will be different.

All seven members of Nexus are in the ring to start the show. Leader and mouthpiece, Wade Barrett, addresses the crowd. Barrett says they are here at request of the GM to face the consequences of their actions. He says they cannot reveal why they did what they did to Mr. McMahon, but the picture will come into focus soon. They showed Vince that he could not control Nexus.

Skip Sheffield takes the mic and says they beat up the WWE Legends for fun last week. They were exploiting a loop hole in the GMís rules. Skip is interrupted by incoming email from the GM. Michael Cole reads the email, which details the punishment for Nexus. No member of The Nexus can compete for a WWE title going forward, but the ban on contact between Nexus and superstars has been lifted. Cue John Cena.

It doesnít take the former champ long to get his. Cena walks out and says the only thing Nexus hasnít done is get in a fair fight, so Cena calls for backup. Randy Orton, R-Truth, John Morrison, Chris Jericho, Evan Bourne, Davey Hart Smith, and Tyson Kidd join Cena and head for the ring. The brawl begins, but the WWE superstars are jumped by the Usos, The Miz, Ted DiBiase, Edge, and Sheamus. The WWE faces clear the ring, and one of the Usos gets the Attitude Adjustment. Cena is livid that these guys would help Nexus. Sheamus and his crew like Nexus because they are constantly going after Cenal; Sheamus then declines Cenaís offer from last week.

Orton grabs a stick, saying he is not friends with Cena, but Nexus poses a threat, so he will join with him. Orton calls out Edge and the other six to finish what they have started. Another email comes in, and the GM doesnít want a brawl, instead all eight men in the Money in the Bank match will be in action, while Cena will step in the ring with Wade Barrett, to shake hands and call a truce. (Worst. Idea. Ever.)

Cena asks the GM if he can knock his teeth out, instead. The GM asks Cena to be the bigger man and do the right thing, or his actions will be met with the appropriate consequences. And thatís the bottom line, because the GM said so. (No really, thatís what Cole read in the email. Iím not making it up.)

Match #1 Ė John Morrison vs. Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse

Dibiase takes it to Morrison, while Maryse defends herself as not being a gold digger to Michael Cole. Morrison is dropped over the ropes, and DiBiase keeps the pressure on with kicks. Morrison gets a roll up, but Ted kicks out. Dibiase runs into a drop kick, but recovers with a scoop slam. Morrison connects with an enziguri, and both men are down. The ref starts the ten count. Maryse takes Morrisonís jacket and gets on the apron. Dibiase thumbs Morrison in the eye, and follows with Dream Street as the ref was distracted. Dibiase covers for the win.

Winner via pin fall: Ted DiBiase

Santino Marella tries to get Vladimir Kozlov pumped up about their tag team match. Vladimir says if they lose he will knock off Santinoís head.

Match #2 Ė Santino and Vladimir Kozlov vs. William Regal and the Great Khali w/ Ranjin Singh

Regal tells Kozlov he made and enemy last week. Kozlov gets Regal in a head lock, and tags in Santino who this a double axe handle from the turn buckle. Kozlov tags back in and hits a spinebuster. He covers Regal and gets the win.

Winner via pinfall: Santino and Vladimir Kozlov

After the bell, Khali gets in the ring, and wants Santino and Kozlov to pick up Regal. They do, and Khali hits him with the big, slow, overhead chop.

We see the recap of the attack by Nexus on Ricky Steamboat and the other WWE Legends.

Arn Anderson tells Josh Matthews that Steamboat is in bad condition and it is serious. WWE champion Sheamus walks in. He calls Anderson a pathetic old man. Anderson calls Sheamus blind and stupid, saying he isnít safe from Nexus. He pleads for Sheamus to put away his ego, or the company is going to go up in smoke. Sheamus says he doesnít need anyone because he is the champ.

Match #3 Ė R-Truth vs. The Miz

The Miz walks to ring with his own version of R-Truthís rap. Miz does his awesome gimmick, but then hits Truth with a cheap shot to the head. Miz beats on Truth outside the ring, slamming him into the ring post. He then beats him on the apron, and snaps his arm over the bottom rope. R-Truth rolls to the floor in obvious pain, and is attended to by medical personal.

No Contest

The Cutting Edge

Edge brings back his talk show to chat with fellow Money in the Bank participants Evan Bourne and Chris Jericho. Edge starts out by saying he is smarter than everyone else, so he is going to align himself with Nexus, instead of making enemies.

Edge introduces Evan Bourne, but Jericho walks out instead. Jericho says he will mentor Nexus. Edge and Jericho get in a war of words. It turns physical, and Evan Bourne runs in to get him some. The emails come pouring in from the GM, who asks the crowd if they want to see some action, give him a HELL YEA! Edge and Jericho will take on Evan Bourne and Randy Orton.

Match #4 - Edge and Chris Jericho vs. Evan Bourne and Randy Orton

Bourne and Jericho start things off, and he chokes Bourne with a boot. Bourne kicks Jericho in the chest, and then tags in Orton. Jericho is whipped into the corner and hits the mat, but quickly springs to his feet and gets the tag to Edge. Orton slams Edge to the mat, and stomps away at him. Orton makes the tag and Bourne kicks Edge. Jericho gets the tag and Bourne drop kicks him out of the ring. Bourne flings himself over the top rope to take out Jericho. Bourne rolls him back into the ring, but Jericho catches himself on the ropes to avoid a drop kick. And we go to commercial.

Edge has Bourne in a waist lock. Bourne elbows his way out, but Edge hits a face buster. Bourne kicks out of the pin. Jericho tags in and hits a back breaker, and then stretches Bourne over his knee. Bourne kicks Jericho in the head to break free, and both men are down. Jericho makes the tag, and Edge cuts Bourne off. Edge picks up Bourne for a suplex, but Bourne counters with a knee to the head and a spin kick. Jericho makes a hesitant tag, which allows Orton to also tag. Orton gets Jericho on the apron, and hits the elevated DDT. Orton looks to finish off Jericho, but Edge runs in, allowing Jericho to hit an enziguri. Jericho drop kicks Orton, and follows with a bulldog. Orton rolls away from the Lionsault, and Jericho hits the mat. Edge and Bourne get tags, and Bourne hits a spinning heel kick, but Edge catches him with a boot to the ribs as Bourne came off the top rope. Jericho tags himself in, runs into a kick from Bourne. Edge is furious. He spears Jericho and walks off. Bourne climbs the top rope and connects with Air Bourne. He covers Jericho for the win.

Winner via pinfall: Evan Bourne and Randy Orton

After the bell, Orton drops Bourne with an RKO.

David Otunga and other Nexus members reach out to Randy Orton. They tell him they will not interfere in the MitB match, but they canít promise anything after the cage match between Sheamus and Cena. Orton tells them to get out of his face.

Josh Matthews welcomes the Usos to the interview area. They are fired up for their tag team championship match with the Harts. Tamina educates Matthews on the difference between Jimmy and Jey.

Divas Champion Alicia Fox wants to know why she hasnít been interviewed since she became champion. She says her win at Fatal Four Way wasnít a fluke, and she will prove it in her rematch against Eve.

Match #5 Ė Eve vs. Alicia Fox Ė Divas Championship match

Eve barely touches Alicia when she goes down clutching her leg. Alicia fakes the injury long enough to catch Eve off guard. Alicia explodes out of the corner with an axe kick. She covers Eve to retain the title.

Winner via pinfall: Alicia Fox

Wade Barrett gets in the ring and wants Cena to know that everything Nexus has done has had a purpose, and he has just happened to get caught in the cross fire. He wants Cena to come down so they can shake hands.

Cena gets in the ring, and Barrett assures Cena that he is not in their future plans. He wants to put everything behind them. Barrett says Nexus can make his life a lot easier or harder, the choice is his. Cena says if they shake hands, the attacks stop, but he wants to know if Barrett is doing this because he wants to, or because the GM has told him to. Cena extends his hand, and then pulls it back, and says why stop now. Cena tells Barrett to stuff his plans. Cena says the future is him taking down Nexus, with or without help.

Barrett tells Cena to shake, or else. Cena grabs Barrettís hand and looks for the Attitude Adjustment. Nexus jumps in, taking down Cena, but the cavalry, led by Mark Henry, hit the ring. Darren Young is left in the ring, when he is saved by an email from the GM.

The GM says he wanted peace, so if things down stop now, there will be consequences. The Superstars clear the ring, except for Cena, who locks in an STF on Young. The GM fires off another email, telling Cena he will face Nexus in a seven on one handicap match. Cena decided to get his money's worth, and beats Young all over the ring. Cena tosses Young from the ring, by way of the ring post. He then decks him with the ring steps on the floor. He picks Young up, tossing him of the announce desk. Cena stands in the middle of the ring as the show goes off the air.
