WWE Bryan fiasco real or fake?
By TIM BAINES - Ottawa Sun

So WWE released Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) for choking ring announcer Justin Roberts with his tie?

Can this be legit? And if so, how?

Geez, this is the same organization that had Mae Young giving birth to a hand, Triple H having sex with a corpse and Brian Pillman shooting a gun at Stone Cold Steve Austin.

We’ve seen divas’ boobs hanging out, gay storylines and guys get hit with sledgehammers.

And somebody got fired for strangling an announcer with a tie? Oh, there’s always the chance it’s a work. This is WWE.

Even John Cena, the guy who was pummelled by the NXT mob, came out in defence of Bryan.

Twittered Cena: “Bryan left a lasting impression on the WWE Universe in a very short time, and although it came at my expense, I agree with the majority of you who are caught off guard by this choice. I would like Bryan to come back to the WWE. I would like to sign your petition to bring him back. I was taught to stand up for what I believe in. I tried and failed, so I could use some help. Tell me how to sign and I will. Give me a chance to have a fair match with him, and give him yet another chance to prove that he does belong with us.”

Around the ring

The Brady Bunch’s Florence Henderson will be the guest host of RAW on July 12. Geez, The Partridge Family’s Danny Bonaduce wasn’t available? ... ODB is gone from TNA. Not your prototypical diva or knockout, she will be missed. If I had the power in WWE, I’d sign both ODB and Awesome Kong. But that wouldn’t be the PG13 way of doing things ... Scott Hall is gone from TNA ... The Miz is WWE’s new U.S. champ ... Tommy Dreamer appeared on TNA’s Slammiversary pay-per-view Sunday.
