ECW: Dreamer bids adieu
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on ECW on Syfy: The end has come for what once was going to be the rebirth of ECW. Tonight, the Land of Extreme loses its last link to the past as former ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer wrestles his last match in ECW and WWE against Zack Ryder. Should be a good one!

And we are TAPED! from Orlando, Fla. Josh Mathews and Byron Saxton are our hosts. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).

Savannah welcomes out former ECW Champion Jack Swagger. He says finally the show is worth watching again (he's right). Swagger says things haven't changed all that much Christian's still a chump and Tommy Dreamer's still fat. He shows a video package of himself and says he's the future ECW Champion.

Match #1 - Zack Ryder (Long Island, N.Y.) vs. Tommy Dreamer (Yonkers, N.Y)

It's all Ryder in the early going. Ryder goes to the top but Dreamer cuts him off and hits a superplex. Dreamer rallies with a backbody drop and a power slam for two. Dreamer catches Ryder coming off the middle rope and slingshots him into the turnbuckle. He puts him in the tree of woe and hits the running dropkick. He rips off his ECW shirt and throws it to the crowd. He goes for the DDT but Ryder slides out to the apron and wrings him off the rope face-first to the mat. Ryder slides back into the ring and hits the Zack Attack for the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Zack Ryder

And that's it for Tommy Dreamer in ECW. As reported by multiple sources, he requested and was granted his release from WWE.

Savannah welcomes Tony Atlas, who welcomes us to The Abraham Washington Show.

Washington cracks some Tiger Woods jokes. Then he welcomes his guests for the night, Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft. A complete, utter waste of time.

Match #2 - ECW Homecoming Qualifying Match - Vance Archer (Dallas, Texas) vs. Goldust (Hollywood, Calif.)

Goldust goes for a suplex but Archer slips out and drives him into the corner. From there, it's curtains for Goldust, as he hits "the move we've seen multiple times" for the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Vance Archer

Match #3 - ECW Homecoming Qualifying Match - Jack Swagger (Perry, Okla.) vs. Yoshi Tatsu (Tokyo, Japan)

Swagger rolls Tatsu up for two. He goes behind and hits a clubbing clothesline for two. Swagger drives Tatsu into the corner and then power slams him. He runs in and hits the Vader Bomb but Tatsu saves himself by grabbing the bottom rope. Swagger argues with the referee and then goes to pick Tatsu up, but as soon as Tatsu reaches a vertical base, he drills Swagger right in the chops with the high kick and that's it.

Winner via pinfall: Yoshi Tatsu
