Impact: Daniels makes statement
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling
Tonight on TNA Impact: Coming off a successful Turning Point pay-per-view, TNA regroups with a big main event as TNA Champion A.J. Styles and Kurt Angle team up to face Daniels and Desmond Wolfe. Should be a good one!
And we are "TAPED!" from Orlando, Fla. Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts. This show is presented in TNAHD (TV-14,V).
Mick Foley and Abyss make their way to the ring. Foley says he's not sure if Dixie Carter values him anymore. He had to show his ID to get into the Impact Zone for crying out loud! Then Foley says he wants Raven tonight. This brings Raven and Dr. Stevie to the top of the ramp. Stevie says Foley is "burning with anger." Hardy har har. Also, there's a sign in the front row that says "We want Pete Gas." Awesome.
Raven says Foley is more interested in corporate intrigue than getting revenge. Raven questions Foley's authority. Foley says he doesn't need to ask for permission to do anything. The match is on.
Jeremy Borash is backstage with Kurt Angle and A.J. Styles. Styles is question why Daniels wants to throw years of friendship out the window for a competition between the two. And now Daniels want a shot at Final Resolution, but he needs to make it through tonight, Styles says. Angle wants to know why Styles is giving Daniels a title shot at Final Resolution. Styles says he'd love to take on Angle any time, anywhere. The interview ends in tension.

Abyss hits the Shock Treatment on Stevie but Raven attacks before he can cover. Raven pulls something out and tries to light a fireball on Abyss but Abyss knocks it away. Referee Slick Johnson sees it and calls for the bell.

Raven and Stevie attack, of course. DDT by Raven. Daffney brings an electrical cable to the ring. They use it to choke Abyss through the ropes. Abyss is literally fighting for his life with his eyes bugging out and they go to break. VINTAGE TNA!

Now Pope hits "Wassup" with an elbow on Devon. Pope tells Morgan to get the tables. Morgan sets Ray on a table on the outside. Morgan goes for a leg drop off the apron but Ray moves. Ray jolts back in the ring right in time to hit a 3D on Pope. Hernandez comes in with a slingshot double clothesline. Hernandez spears Rhino but the referee is pulled out of the ring. Hernandez goes to see what's up when Jesse Neal comes in and nails Hernandez with a chair and puts Rhino over Hernandez.
Winners via pinfall: Rhino, Brother Ray & Brother Devon
