Impact: Joe in control on the road to Turning Point
By CHRIS & BRYAN SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

Since adding Hulk Hogan to the roster, TNA has been making some big waves across the sports entertainment industry. On tonight's episode of Impact, Dixie Carter addresses the locker room on the new direction of TNA, while a Turning Point preview match takes place, as AJ Styles battles Daniels with Samoa Joe as guest referee.

The show opened with a video package highlighting Hulk Hogan's media blitz about joining TNA.

The Impact opener aired, as Mike Tenay talked about Hulk Hogan's signing, before pitching to video footage of a behind-the-scenes meeting Dixie Carter held with the TNA locker room.

Footage was shown of Dixie Carter and the creative team standing alongside the ring of the empty Impact Zone, with the rest of the staff, referees and wrestlers sitting in the bleachers. Carter talked about how she is the boss and everyone needs to support her and her decisions in order for TNA to reach it's full potential. She said that those who choose not to support her can find a new place to work. She told the locker room that everyone needs to continue to step up because it's time to show what TNA is all about.

Following the video footage, AJ Styles entered the Impact Zone and grabbed a mic. Styles talked about how excited he is over Hulk Hogan joining TNA. He then challenged the man whose been attacking him to show his face and try and take the TNA Heavyweight Championship from him. Daniels came out and went off on Styles for thinking he was the attacker. Daniels talked about how they've both been in TNA the same amount of time, but how Styles has had everything handed to him along the way. Daniels said that when Styles was down, TNA helped him, but when he was down, they kept him there. As Styles and Daniels were talking in the ring, Samoa Joe came out and egged them on. Joe talked about how Daniels has always been jealous of Styles and said that they only reason they weren't friends was because Styles had something that he wanted, the TNA Heavyweight Championship. Joe again pushed Daniels as the attacker, to which Daniels said he didn't need to attack Styles from behind, because he could beat him whenever he wanted to. Styles took offense to the comment and challenged Daniels to a match later on, as Joe laughed from the entrance way.

Mike Tenay and Taz announced that Samoa Joe would be the guest referee for the AJ Styles vs. Daniels match later on. Rob Terry did most of the heavy work for Eric Young in this match.
