Winner via pinfall: Ezekiel Jackson
Jackson and Kozlov celebrate a little bit before Kozlov steps in and nails Goldust with the Iron Curtain, apparently because he wanted to walk to the back to his music, not Jackson's.
William Regal is backstage when Zack Ryder walks up. The two will team in the main event tonight. Ryder, looking like he just spent about 15 minutes with the sun, said he knows why he was attacked last week — Regal thinks he's the better No. 1 contender. Ryder pops off about Jackson and Kozlov not being there when they show up and Ryder cowers. Regal asks him if he is done and he is. Regal calls him a blithering idiot and says "our blonde general manager in her infinite wisdom" has booked them in match together. But he'll make it work because he wants to win.
Sheamus makes his way to the ring in all his pasty glory.
He throws it to the video board for highlights of his match with Shelton Benjamin on Superstars. He says the record books (Benjamin winning by DQ) don't reflect what happened. He says Shelton's been in WWE for nearly 10 years and has great ability, but has never had what it takes to get to the top. He'll get there.
He finishes by saying he'll be at the top when it's all over.
Match #2 - The Hurricane vs. Paul Burchill (Chelsea, England)
Some chain wrestling to start and then Hurricane sends Burchill to the outside and hits a slingshot crossbody. They battle with Hurricane on the apron and Burchill knees him to the floor and Hurricane's head hits the floor hard. Burchill throws him into the edge of the ring and then back in.
Burchill working the left arm but Hurricane is able to survive and hits a Thesz Press and some shots. He hits a Hurricane-rana for two. Burchill is able to rebound, though, with a armbar takedown for two. Burchill tries for a superplex but Hurricane counters with a flying crossbody. Hurricane sets Burchill on the top for another Hurricane-rana, but he goes and Burchill doesn't go anywhere. Burchill disembarks and hits a jackhammer for the pin.
Winner via pinfall: Paul Burchill
Christian meets Yoshi Tatsu backstage while Tatsu was doing some limbering up exercises. Christian wakes Yoshi out of his intense regiment and then the wackiness begins. Tatsu speaks some Japanese and Christian responds with "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!" Christian adds he wants to get the last "thank you" in and tells Tatsu that Ichiro is "over there." Tatsu goes and Christian says thank you but then Tatsu comes back, seeing he's been the victim of a ruse and says thank you as Christian was off camera. Christian comes back and says "let's go." These two must interact together forever.
Match #3 - William Regal (Blackpool, England) & Zack Ryder (Long Island, N.Y.) vs. Yoshi Tatsu (Tokyo, Japan) & Christian (Toronto, Ontario)
Christian sends Ryder to the outside and Regal goes to coach up Ryder. Christian comes in and dropkicks Regal into Ryder and into the announce table. As they recover, Christian hits a springboard crossbody as everyone crashes to the floor.
Christian working Regal but Regal gets the edge and brings Ryder in. Quick tags for Regal and Ryder. Christian gets the tag to Tatsu and he hits a rolling kick. But Ryder takes it back over and brings Regal in. Back elbow by Regal drops Tatsu. Heels back to quick tags and have Tatsu nearly in the fetal position in the centre of the ring. Ryder with a chinlock and slams Tatsu into the corner.
Regal back and he and Tatsu trade European uppercuts. Ryder back in and he sits Tatsu down in the corner and hits a running boot. Ryder makes a mistake and Tatsu catches him with a roaring elbow and gets the tag to Christian.
Christian hits a reverse DDT and attacks Regal on the apron. He hits the springboard sunset flip for two. He goes for the Killswitch but Ryder headbutts him and hits a roughrider legdrop. To the corner and Christian hits a tornado DDT but Regal makes the save. Tatsu takes Regal to the outside where Tatsu promptly eats the steel steps.
Regal blind tags Ryder and tries to take over. He gets hit by Christian and goes back to the corner, where Ryder wrings his throat on the top rope right into the Killswitch for the fall.
