Raw: Big Ben and company score
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

WWE has countered what maybe be the biggest regular season NFL game of the year (Brett Favre is facing his former Green Bay team for the first time,) by having the reigning Super Bowl champion quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, host the show from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Raw is also coming off of the Hell in the Cell Pay-per-View, so rematches here we come.

Big Ben kicks off the show. (Itís a good thing the Steelers won last night or this could be awkward.) Ben has something special for us right off the bat, the Diva Bowl. The ladies from all three brands hit the ring in two teams. Gail Kim is the referee.

Match #1 Ė Mickie James, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Kelly Kelly, Eve, Melina and Maria vs. Bethe Phoenix, Rosa Mendes, Jillian, Alicia Fox, Michelle McCool, Layla, and Natalya Ė Special Referee Gail Kim

Mickie James hits Alicia with a victory roll to pick up the win.

Winner via pinfall: Mickie James, Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Kelly Kelly, Eve, Melina and Maria

New WWE champion Randy Orton crashes the celebration, walking to the ring with belt in hand.

Orton recaps his win over John Cena, citing the fact he won this time clean, no short cuts and no back up were needed. He is now waiting for Cena to come out and ask for his rematch.

Cena hits the ring, and wants his rematch right now. Orton announces there will be no title match, tonight. Cena says this proves Orton doesnít care about the fans, and then congratulates Orton on his win. Cena says his rivalry with Orton is THE RIVALRY right now, and he wants to face off one more time for the fans. Cena wants to give the fans an Iron Man match.

Orton asks why he would agree to this, because if he loses there is no rematch. Orton proposes that if Cena loses, he leaves RAW. Orton then adds more terms, no disqualifications and no count outs. Orton tells him to take it or leave it. Cena agrees.

Match #2 Ė Jack Swagger vs. Primo Colon

Jack Swagger announces that he will not lose the rest of the year. I wonder if he will get that lisp fixed while he is at it?

Primo ducks a clothesline and a kick, and then connects with a head scissors. Swagger whips Primo into the corner, knocking him to the mat. The All-American American follows with a splash. Swagger locks in a bear hug and then slams Primo into the corner. Primo side steps and charge, and rolls up Swagger, who kicks out at two. Primo fights his way out of the corner, hitting a standing drop kick. Swagger counters Primo coming off the ropes with a kick to the gut. Swagger follows with the gut wrench powerbomb and covers for the win.

Winner via pinfall: Jack Swagger

The Divas are arguing in the back, when referee Santino throws the flag. Santino wants Alicia and Mickie to kiss and make up. Instead Alicia slaps him, and the fight is on.

The Miz introduces himself to Big Ben. Miz isnít happy that Swagger is saying he didnít lose the U.S. Title, because he didnít get pinned. The Miz goes on about his own awesomeness, and asks a shot at the U.S. Title, tonight. Ben tells him to settle down, and makes the match. The Miz versus Kofi for the U.S. Title, but with one stipulation, if he loses, The Miz must announce he is awful.

Match #3 Ė Chavo Guerrero and Chris Masters vs. MVP and Mark Henry

Henry and Masters start off, with Masters getting shoved into the corner. Henry hits a shoulder block, but then hurts his knee on the ensuing splash. MVP gets the tag, and Masters knocks him to the mat. Chavo tags in, taking out Mark Henry on the apron. MVP connects with a clothesline, and follows with the Balliní Elbow. Masters runs in to break the pin, but MVP rolls away, and Masters drops an elbow on Chavo. Henry clears Masters from the ring, allowing MVP to make the pin and get the win.

Winner via pinfall: MVP and Mark Henry

After the match, Masters and Guerrero argue in the ring. Masters puts on the Masterlock. Chavo is saved by Hornswoggle, who bites Masters in the thigh. Chavo breaks free and nails a DDT on Masters. Hornswoggle gives Chavo a crotch chop and runs off.

Big Ben returns to the ring. Roethlisberger is interrupted by Chris Jericho and the Bog Show, and Show wants to know why they call him Big Ben. Show then calls out the Steelers offensive line, so Ben tells them to come on out. Jericho isnít intimidated by the O-line, telling the team to huddle up. The line goes into a three point stance, causing Show and Jericho to slip out of the ring.

DX decides to join the party. Show and Jericho back up the ramp, as Hunter and Shawn get the party started. Jericho says he isnít surprised DX ruined the moment to pimp their wares. Shawn challenges Big Show and Jericho. Show tells DX to take care of their wounds and come back later. Jericho says DX isnít worthy of a match. Big Ben steps in, telling Jericho and Show they will face DX, tonight.

Match #4 Ė Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz Ė U.S. Title Match

Kofi sends Miz to the outside. Miz head butts Kofi, and gets a near fall. The Miz hits Kofi from behind, and then kicks him in the face. Miz beats down Kofi in the corner, Kofi then returns the favor. Miz cuts Kofi off the turnbuckle, who falls awkwardly to the floor.

Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise, but the kick sends Miz to the outside. Kofi rolls Miz back into the ring, but cannot get the pin. Kofi hits a clothesline, but Miz starts to roll away from the leg drop. Kofi hits the dual leg drop, but Miz is able to grab the ropes. Miz rolls out of the ring, and then hangs Kofi on the ropes from the floor. Kofi hits a forearm coming off the ropes, and then he goes to the top. Kofi hits the cross body, but Miz rolls through. Kofi kicks out at two. Kofi hits the SOS, and Miz kicks out again. Kofi misses a splash in the corner, getting himself tied up in the ropes. The Miz hits Kofi with the Skull Crusher and covers for the win.

Winner via pinfall and new United States Champion: The Miz

The Miz grabs a microphone and runs his mouth.

Hornswoggle is in the back having fun with Big Ben. Santino runs in and complains about getting mauled by the Divas, although Santino canít pronounce Roethlisberger. Hornswoggle slaps Santino and fun is had by all.

Match #5 Ė The Big Show and Chris Jericho vs. DX

Hunter and Jericho start the match. Jericho is sent to the mat with a hip toss. HBK tags in, only to get kicked in the mouth. Show tags in, as Hunter gets the tag.

After the break, Show has HHH in a bear hug. Hunter boxes the ears and then hammers away at Show to break free. Trips is smashed into the corner, and Jericho tags in, kicking Hunter in the stomach. Jericho connects with a missile drop kick, but cannot get the pin. Hunter sidesteps Jericho, who gets hung up on the ropes. HBK gets the hot tag, hitting an inverted atomic drop, but HBK is whipped into the corner, killing his momentum. Show gets the tag, and drops a leg on HBK. Show slams Michaels to the mat. Jericho makes the tag, and locks in the Walls of Jericho on HBK. Jericho pulls Shawn back to the middle of the ring. HHH runs in and breaks the hold. Jericho crawls to make the tag to Show, who charges at HBK. Michaels gets a foot up in the corner and then drop kicks Show in the leg. HBK follows with an enziguri, and is able to tag HHH. Jericho tags in, and is hit with a face buster. Show grabs HHH, but Hunter breaks free as Jericho runs into his partner. Hunter looks for the Pedigree, but Show breaks it up. HBK runs in to help, but both men are suplexed by Show. Hunter pulls the rope down on a charging Show, who spills to the floor. Jericho canít get the pin on a roll up. HHH looks for another Pedigree, but is pulled out of the ring by Show. DX slams Show into the ring post, and dumps him over the announce table. DX stalks Jericho, who slips out of the ring and heads up the ramp.

Big Ben and his O-line block Jerichoís path. HBK grabs him and tosses him back into the ring. Shawn connects with Sweet Chin Music and HHH covers for the win.

Winner via pinfall: DX

After the match, the Steelers hit the ring to celebrate with DX.
