Impact: Blueprint gets the tables
By CHRIS & BRYAN SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

This past Sunday at Hard Justice, Kurt Angle, the leader of the Main Event Mafia, retained his TNA Heavyweight Championship after defeating Sting and Matt Morgan. On tonight's episode of Impact, Angle and Morgan join forces to do battle with Team 3D in a Tag Team Tables Match. Plus D'Angelo Dinero makes his Impact debut and the Knockouts are in action.

The show began with a recap of Hard Justice.

Mike Tenay opened the show at ringside by himself. He talked about how Don West accepted a promotion in the merchandising department of TNA. Tenay then introduced West's replacement, Taz, who entered the Impact Zone, grabbed a headset and shook hands with his new partner.

The Main Event Mafia entered the Impact Zone, with Kurt Angle grabbing the mic. As Angle began talking, he was interrupted by Matt Morgan, who was carry an axe handle. Morgan barked at Angle and told him that he went into business for himself at Hard Justice. Morgan said it was supposed to be either he or Angle that walked out champion, yet Angle broke up a pin of his. Morgan wanted to know why and he was giving Angle ten seconds to explain, before he came down to the ring and took them all out. Angle told Morgan that it was he who went into business for himself when he hit Angle with the Carbon Footprint. Angle said that he lost feeling in his arms and legs and was disoriented as a result. He said that he pulled the referee out of the ring because he thought Sting was pinning Morgan. Angle told Morgan that he made a rookie mistake, which led to him being pinned. Angle went on to tell Morgan that they accomplished their goal regardless and that he would give him one more chance to join the Mafia, by teaming with Angle later on to battle Team 3D in a Tables match. Morgan told Angle that he's losing his mind. Morgan made it look as though he was going to go after Angle, but turned it around and said that Angle was right. He said that Angle always had his best interest in mind and that he would be his partner later on.

Backstage, Lauren was shown asking AJ Styles about his big announcement later on, but he just ignored her.

Match One - Street Fight - Beer Money Inc. (James Storm and Robert Roode) vs. The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus and Doug Williams)

Prior to the match getting underway, referee, Earl Hebner ejected the rest of The World Elite from ringside. Tenay said that referees have more power thanks to a new edict from TNA Management. Beer Money Inc. got the upperhand early on, but the British Invasion turned things right back around, and eventually tied James Storm up to a ringpost. A second referee came out to cut him loose and from there on, it was smooth sailing for Beer Money, who hit Brutus Magnus with the DWI on a trash can to get the pin.

In the back, Lauren talked to Angelina Love and Velvet Sky, who said that Madison Rayne would pay for her mistake at Hard Justice. They said that Rayne was no longer associated with The Beautiful People.

A recap was shown of ODB and Cody Deaner walking out victorious at Hard Justice.

Jeremy Borash was shown speaking to Mick Foley about his match with Kevin Nash, when ODB and Cody Deaner walked in arguing. Deaner said that since he got the pin, he should be the TNA Knockouts Champion. Foley said that he would make a ruling on the situation and announce his decision next week on Impact. As ODB and Deaner left, Abyss walked in. Foley thanked Abyss for saving him at the pay-per-view and presented him with a blue flannel shirt. Abyss and Foley embraced, as Foley told him to wear the shirt with pride.

Mike Tenay and Taz hyped the rest of Impact.

Match Two - Madison Rayne vs. Angelina Love

Angelina Love jump started the match at ringside and tossed Madison Rayne all around. After throwing her into the steps and bouncing her off the apron, she finally rolled her into the ring, made a cover and got the pin.

Winner Via Pinfall - Angelina Love

After the match, Velvet Sky came down and helped Angelina Love continue the beating. They gave Rayne the brown bag treatment, until Tara and Christy Hemme ran out and made the save.

A video was shown of The Motor City Machine Guns promoting themselves. They talked about how they haven't been on Impact lately because they don't play political games. They said that they will be selling their services to fans for $2,000 per hour. They said that fans could call them to play video games or hang out. They said to call 1-696-696-6969 and they would throw in a free Sham-Wow. Ha, ha.

Security was shown separating The Beautiful People and Madison Rayne backstage.

Match Three - Samoa Joe vs. Homicide

Taz said that his job with Samoa Joe was complete, because he led him to the TNA X Division Championship. Back and forth match here, with Joe hitting the Muscle Buster and picking up victory.

A white limo was shown arriving at the Impact Zone and a shot of D'Angelo Dinero's feet were shown.

Lauren talked to Tara, Sarita, Taylor Wilde and Christy Hemme about the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Title tournament that will be starting next week. They all showed their excitement and were happy for this new opportunity. Definitely a cool idea.

Match Four - Four Way Knockouts Match - Traci Brooks w/ Sharmell vs. Awesome Kong w/ Riesha Saeed vs. Christy Hemme w/ Tara vs. Sarita w/ Taylor Wilde

Awesome Kong did the damage in this match, but Traci Brooks snuck in and stole the pin.

Winner Via Pinfall - Traci Brooks

After the match, Awesome Kong threw a fit, as Mike Tenay announced that next week it will be Awesome Kong and Riesha Saeed vs. Traci Brooks and Sharmell in the first round of the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Title tournament.

D'Angelo Dinero's boots were shown.

Match Five - D'Angelo Dinero vs. Consequences Creed

Prior to the match starting, referee Andrew Thomas sent Jay Lethal to the back. D'Angelo Dinero looked impressive here, hitting the Elijah Express on Consequences Creed to get the win.

Winner Via Pinfall - D'Angelo Dinero

After the match, Suicide came out and got some revenge on D'Angelo Dinero for what happened between them at Hard Justice.

Mike Tenay and Taz hyped some upcoming live events and the Bound For Glory pay-per-view.

Lauren caught up with Matt Morgan, who said that he trusts Kurt Angle and that everybody should. Morgan said that Angle would have his back and he would get his boot. Morgan covered up, saying he was so nervous he said "boot." Morgan teasing a turn on the Mafia is entertaining, should be interesting to see where this goes.

AJ Styles came out and talked about how his personal life has been taking a heavy toll and that is why he considering walking away from TNA. Before he can officially retire, Sting comes out. Sting tells Styles that he is quitting on all the people that look up to him and that only losers quit. Sting told Styles that he is the guy he talks about all the time and that he is the chosen one. Sting told Styles he could stand there and admit he is a quitter and loser, or he can go the back and get his head in the game. Styles and Sting embraced and walked up the ramp together.

Lauren spoke to Hernandez and asked when he planned on cashing in his TNA Heavyweight Championship briefcase. Hernandez didn't know yet, but said that when he did, he would walk away champion. Eric Young walked in and asked to speak to Hernandez about joining The World Elite.

Bobby Lashley entered the Impact Zone and joined Mike Tenay and Taz. Lashley said that Dixie Carter would make her Impact debut next week and announce Lashley's role in TNA. The ring introductions took place for the main event and as Kurt Angle came out, he stopped by the table and pie faced Lashley. Lashley came back with a punch that knocked Angle down, as security stepped in and separated them.

Match Six - Tables Match - Kurt Angle and Matt Morgan vs. Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon)

During the match, Team 3D set up a table and attempted to double suplex Matt Morgan through it. Kurt Angle moved the table out of the way, but not far enough, as Morgan's legs went through it. Referee Mark "Slick" Johnson ruled that the match had to continue. Later on, Angle and Morgan had Brother Devon placed on a table, as Angle told Morgan to go up top and splash him through. Brother Ray got back in the match and Angle was sent to the floor, allowing 3D to toss Morgan from the top and through the table to win the match.

Winners Via Putting Their Opponent Through A Table - Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon)

After the match, Kurt Angle walked to the back with a shocked look, as Matt Morgan stared him down from the ring.
