While Jeff Jarrett and Mick Foley continue their feud within the Frontline, other Frontline members in the form of AJ Styles and Samoa Joe are scheduled for tag team action in tonight's main event, against Main Event Mafia members, Kevin Nash and Booker T. Plus, two more qualifying matches will take place in the Team 3D Invitational and the Knockouts will go to war in a Stretcher match.
The show began with a recap of what happened last week on Impact between Jeff Jarrett and Mick Foley, as well as the surprise appearance of Bobby Lashley.
A video was shown from earlier in the day with Jeremy Borash outside the TNA Head Offices. Jeff Jarrett came out of a meeting and was asked by Borash is Mick Foley still had a job, to which Jarrett said "no comment." Foley then came out and was blowing kisses to Dixie Carter. Foley told Borash that he couldn't be fired, because he is the TNA Heavyweight Champion and he doesn't work for Jarrett, but with Jarrett. Borash asked about the steel chair shot from last week and Foley said it was just friends fighting and thats how he thought people settle their differences.
The Impact opener played, followed by the usual Mike Tenay and Don West welcome.
The Main Event Mafia, without Sting, entered the Impact Zone, with Kurt Angle being put over as "The Godfather" of the Mafia. Angle talked about getting things done and mentioned Mick Foley hitting him with a steel chair last week. Angle made an offer to Jarrett and said that if he was put in the Ultimate Sacrifice match, he would put his position as the leader of the Main Event Mafia on the line and if anyone pinned him or made him submit, they would take his place. He then went on to say that he was going to employ a hostile takeover on Foley's office, to exact revenge from last week's attack.
Back in the office, Jeremy Borash asked Mick Foley about Kurt Angle's hostile takeover. Foley and Jeff Jarrett argued a bit and Foley said that he would be fine if Jarrett had his back. Jarrett flipped and stormed out on Foley, as Foley called him a "grump."
Lauren was shown with the Main Event Mafia. She asked Kurt Angle what he was thinking about by putting up his leadership role and he said that he is going to take Mick Foley's TNA Heavyweight Championship. Scott Steiner was in the background complaining about Jeff Jarrett, but Angle told him they needed Jarrett to put him in the match, and after that he could do whatever he wanted.
The first two qualifying matches in the Team 3D Invitational were recapped, as Beer Money Inc. and Eric Young and Jethro Holliday moved on.
Match One - Team 3D Tag Team Invitational Match - The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs. The Amazing Red and Suicide
This was an entertaining match. The Amazing Red still has it and worked well as Suicide's tag team partner. The newly formed duo was able to take out the Guns and get the pinfall victory to move on in the invitational.
Winners Via Pinfall - The Amazing Red and Suicide
Lauren talked to The Beautiful People about Madison Rayne's stretcher match against the Awesome Kong later on. Rayne looked nervous, as Angelina Love and Velvet Sky were already celebrating the victory.
A package was shown featuring Abyss and Dr. Stevie Richards.
Abyss and Lauren were shown talking backstage, when Cody Deaner and ODB interrupted. Deaner verbally attacked Abyss for beating him a couple of weeks ago on Impact, as ODB tried to shut him up. Abyss grabbed Deaner and told him that if he wanted him so bad, he would get him later on.
Mike Tenay and Don West ran down the rest of Impact.
A package was shown of Kurt Angle's greatest TNA hits.
Backstage, Mick Foley approached the Motor City Machine Guns about having his back when Kurt Angle goes for his hostile takeover. The Guns basically shut Foley down and say that they are looking into the identity of Suicide, because they think it might be someone who won the X Division championship illegally. Foley tells them it's Al Snow and they blow him off.
After a commercial break, Mike Tenay did a welcome back and pitched it to the final Team 3D Invitational First Round match.
As LAX was supposed to make their entrance, The British Invasion, consisting of Brutus Magnus, Doug Williams and Rob Terry were shown beating on Hernandez. Magnus took his Feast or Fired briefcase as well. As the British Invasion made their way to the ring, Homicide checked on Hernandez. Terry Taylor came over and told Homicide to go out and wrestle the match.
Match Two - Team 3D Tag Team Invitational Match - The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus and Doug Williams) w/ Rob Terry vs. Homicide
Homicide came in like a raging bull and took out Rob Terry with his Feast or Fired briefcase. Homicide did his best and gave it his all, but the numbers game caught him with him, as Terry got involved and allowed Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus to finish off Homicide and pick up the big victory.

A package was shown of Kurt Angle's TNA title victories.
Match Three - TNA Knockouts Stretcher Match - Madison Rayne w/ The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) vs. Awesome Kong w/ Riesha Saeed
The rules of this match were that in order to win, you had to hold you're opponent down on the stretcher for a referee's ten count. Before the match got underway, referee, Rudy Charles sent Riesha Saeed to the backstage area. Awesome Kong had this match won on several occasions, but kept picking Madison Rayne up, delivering two Awesome Bombs before taking the win.
Winner Via Placing their Opponent on a Stretcher for a Ten Count - Awesome Kong
After a commercial break, the Beautiful People were shown trying to revive Madison Rayne.
At the announcers table, Don West was upset about the outcome of the stretcher match, while Mike Tenay promised updates on Hernandez and Madison Rayne.
The Motor City Machine Guns entered the Impact Zone and called out Daniels to admit that he is Suicide. The Guns jumped on Daniels and said that he looks and moves like Suicide and whenever Suicide wrestles there are chants for Daniels. They tell Daniels to just admit that even though he was fired in the Feast or Fired match, that he found a loophole to steal Alex Shelley's X Division championship. Daniles defended himself and just said he was back to wrestle and that was it. Eventually Daniels got upset at the badgering and took out the Guns. He motioned for the BME, but the Guns ran away, as Daniels stood tall.
Mick Foley was shown backstage trying to convince Samoa Joe to have is back, but Joe just blew him off and walked away.
Match Four - Abyss vs. Cody Deaner w/ ODB
As per the stipulations of the match, Cody Deaner could use weapons, but Abyss couldn't. Deaner took advantage of the stipulation, but was able to overcome the big size difference and was driven down for the count with the Black Hole Slam.
Winner Via Pinfall - Abyss
Backstage, Lauren spoke to Daffney about her sessions with Dr. Stevie Richards. She said that Richards told her to let her aggression out. She also hinted at Abyss liking her, but Lauren denied it. Looks like there is going to be a love triangle with Daffney, Lauren and Abyss.
Jeremy Borash was shown in the Main Event Mafia locker room with Booker T, Kevin Nash, Sharmell and Jenna Morasca. Borash mentioned the tension between Sharmell and Morasca, which set them off, until Kurt Angle walked in and asked Booker and Sharmell to leave. He then apologized to Morasca and told Nash to make her a drink.
As Don West was promoting TNA's upcoming House Shows, Matt Morgan came out and offered his services to the Main Event Mafia.
Lauren caught up with AJ Styles and asked about Samoa Joe. Styles said that Joe has come back a different person and that he hopes he brings his game face later on. Styles said that he didn't need the Nation of Violence, but he wanted his friend, "The Samoan Submission Machine."
After a break, a commercial with AJ Styles was shown for Sacrifice.
A package was shown of Rhino training, Officier, Jesse Neal.
Match Five - Kevin Nash and Booker T w/ Sharmell and Jenna Morasca vs. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe
AJ Styles started off the match on his own, as Samoa Joe simply didn't make it to the ring and couldn't be located in the backstage area. Styles was able to fight off and the Mafia members and eventually Samoa Joe came out. During the match, Bobby Lashley was shown in the backstage area. The end of the match came when Joe took out Kevin Nash, while Jenna Morasca distracted the referee. This allowed Sharmell to sneak the TNA Legends Championship belt to Booker T for him to hit Styles with and get the pin.
Winners Via Pinfall - Kevin Nash and Booker T
After the match, AJ Styles and Samoa Joe argued about the match.
Backstage, Mick Foley was talking to person who main evented Wrestlemania and said that if he was going to sign that person to a lucrative contract, that person was going to have to help him fight off Angle. Foley planned a sneak attack and laughed, challenging Angle to come and get them.
After a commercial break, another Kurt Angle video package was shown.
Kurt Angle, with Jeremy Borash following was shown storming into Mick Foley's office. Angle choked Foley, as Foley asked him why he was so mad. Angle said that he hit him with a steel chair last week and Foley played dumb, before saying that if that was all it was about, he would let Angle hit him with a chair and then he would make sure Angle was in the Ultimate Sacrifice match. Angle said fine, but Foley couldn't find a chair, so he told Angle to use Jeff Jarrett's guitar and Angle said it would have to be a head shot. Before he could use the guitar, Foley went back to using the chair, saying that Jarrett would be even angrier with him if he broke his guitar. Foley promised to get right on the phone and have a chair brought to the office. As he picked up the phone and began talking, he ran at Angle with it and whacked him. He then pulled out the new star coming to TNA, Mr. Socko and shoved it down Angle's throat. The lights in the office went out and chair shot was heard. When the lights came back on, Foley and Angle were down and Sting was standing tall.
