WWE Superstars: Tag division showing signs of life?
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE Superstars: A potential feud could be brewing. The tag team division might actually have a pulse as Legacy's Ted DiBiase meets one-half of the Unified WWE Tag Team Champions, Carlito, in the main event. Should be a good one!

Tonight's show comes to us from both Bridgeport, Conn., and New York City. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).

Match #1 (Smackdown) - Maria (Chicago, Ill.) & Gail Kim (Toronto, Ontario) vs. Michelle McCool (Palatka, Fla.) & Alicia Fox (Jacksonville, Fla.)

Maria lands the first big move of the match with a headscissors takedown on Fox. Todd Grisham informs us Maria likes kickboxing and sowing. The tide turns when McCool lands a big kick to the back of Maria's head with the referee's back turned.

McCool goes to work with a chinlock on Maria but Maria is able to tag Kim into the match. Kim gets a close two count but goes to the second rope for a crossbody but McCool lands a huge head kick that puts Kim down for good.

Winners via pinfall: Michelle McCool & Alicia Fox

Match #2 (ECW) - Paul Burchill (Chelsea, England) vs. Evan Bourne (St. Louis, MO)

The two men are in a give-and-take for a while but Burchill gains the first major edge of the match by pushing Bourne off the turnbuckle and Bourne came down hard on his knee. He is really withering in pain.

We're back and Burchill is going to work. He takes Bourne's knee and bangs it against the ring post twice. Then when the referee tries to get Burchill back in the ring, Katie Lea adds one more for good measure. Burchill applies a straight ankle lock. Bourne gets to the ropes but Burchill immediately powers him off and into the middle of the ring. Burchill gives up the move and that gives Bourne the opening he needs, sending him to the outside.

Bourne tries to go to the top with only one leg but Burchill stops him. Bourne knocks Burchill off the middle turnbuckle and hits the Shooting Star Press for the victory.

Winner via pinfall: Evan Bourne

Match #3 (Raw) - Ted DiBiase (West Palm Beach, Fla.) vs. Carlito (The Caribbean)

DiBiase gets the edge and has Carlito in a chinlock but Carlito backdrops DiBiase to escape. Carlito hits a knee-lift that has DiBiase reeling then nails a DDT for a near-fall.

Carlito charges DiBiase but ends up getting scoop-slammed. Carlito goes for a springboard elbow but winds up being locked right into Dream Street. That's all she wrote.

Winner via pinfall: Ted DiBiase
