Impact: Jarrett shows Angle the door
By CHRIS & BRYAN SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

Destination X is a few weeks away and the situation within the Main Event Mafia is continuing to heat up. On this episode of Impact, the saga between Kurt Angle and Sting unfolds some more, while Beer Money Inc. defend their Tag Team Titles against LAX in an Off The Wagon Challenge Match. Plus the Knockouts are in action and the X Title is up for grabs.

The show began with a recap of the feud between Kurt Angle and Sting.

Jeremy Borash was shown with Jeff Jarrett in his office. Jarrett announced that because of Kurt Angle's attack last week, he was being suspended for one week from TNA and his salary was being donated to a very worthy cause.

The Impact opener was played, followed by Mike Tenay and Don West's banter. West said he was going to address the comments he made last week, saying that he would do the same thing all over again. Tenay was upset as Mick Foley made his way into the Impact Zone.

Mick Foley introduced Sting, who also made his way into the Impact Zone. Foley thanked Sting for their feud in WCW. Foley talked about how Sting needed to leave the Main Event Mafia, because TNA needed him back. Sting thanked Foley for the kind words, but said that he wouldn't let Kurt Angle dictate whether he was in the Mafia or not and said that if he left the Mafia it would be on his terms. Foley tried to talk some sense into Sting, as Kevin Nash, Scott Steiner and Booker T made their way to the ring. Nash grabbed the mic and told Sting that after Destination X, he and Angle needed to shake hands, since the title would still be with the Mafia. He said Sting can't walk away without accomplishing what the Mafia had planned on doing. Nash, Steiner and Booker left, as Sting and Foley stayed in the ring.

Kurt Angle was shown arriving to the Impact Zone.

A Rough Cuts segment was shown for the Ultimate X match.

Lauren spoke to Lethal Consequences who were wearing suits. They alluded to Kurt Angle's suspension as the reason for the suits, insinuating that they had received part of his salary. They went on to say that they were just getting started with the Motor City Machine Guns.

Match One - TNA X Division Championship Match - Kiyoshi w/ Team No Limit vs. Alex Shelley w/ Chris Sabin (C)

Prior to the match, Don West pumped up Global Impact 2, which will feature a match between The Motor City Machine Guns and Team No Limit for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. This was a back and forth match, that saw Alex Shelley hit a huge frog splash on Kiyoshi for the win.

Winner Via Pinfall and STILL TNA X Division Champion - Alex Shelley

After the match, Suicide came in and took out the Motor City Machine Guns. He posed with the TNA X Division Championship belt again, before taking off.

In the Main Event Mafia locker room, Kurt Angle was shown flipping out. Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash tried to calm him down, but he wouldn't listen. Angle found out through Booker T, that Jeff Jarrett gave his salary to the Frontline to buy new suits. Angle vowed to get those suits.

Back from a commercial break, Lauren spoke to Beer Money Inc. who vowed to defeat LAX and send one of them on their way out of TNA.

Mike Tenay and Don West ran down the rest of the card, as LAX came out with their breifcases and said that they would once again become the TNA Tag Team Champions.

In the Main Event Mafia locker room, Booker T was shown on his cell phone, saying that he was going to "set him up." Booker looked happy as he hung up the phone.

A package was shown on the One Night with ODB contest. Cody Deaner was shown as a entrant, as well as Shark Boy who was filled with quippy lines, such as, "Have you ever been eaten by a shark?"

In the backstage area, Kurt Angle was shown attacking Consequences Creed. He choked him out with a cable, hit him with a steel chair and ripped his suit off, as TNA security came to break things up.

Match Two - Four Corners Tag Team Knockouts Match - The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) w/ Cute Kip vs. Awesome Kong and Riesha Saeed vs. Sojournor Bolt and Rhaka Kahn vs. Roxxi and Taylor Wilde w/ The Governor

This was pretty much a brawl, filled with tons of distractions. The Governor and Madison Rayne both interfered, but in the end, Angelina Love was able to hit the Lights Out on Roxxi and get the victory for The Beautiful People.

Winners Via Pinfall - The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky)

Jeremy Borash spoke to Jeff Jarrett and asked if there would be reprecautions for Kurt Angle, to which Jarrett said he guaranteed there would be.

A package was shown to recap the feud between AJ Styles and Booker T.

Booker T, Scott Steiner and Sharmell made their way into the Impact Zone. Booker called out AJ Styles and demanded that he bring the TNA Legends Championship belt back to him and he wouldn't press charges. AJ Styles music hit and his pyro went off, but Styles came in through the crowd and attacked them from behind. They eventually got the upperhand on Styles, who slid away with the belt, only to fall into police officers custody. As Booker and Sharmell left the ring, another masked officer stood behind Steiner and revealed himself as Samoa Joe. Joe took Steiner down and again held the sword to his throat, until TNA security convinced Joe to let him go.

Mike Tenay and Don West continued to argue as they had been doing throughout the night, while in the parking lot, Booker T mocked AJ Styles as he was being taken away by the police.

Mike Tenay talked about how he didn't agree with Booker T's tactics, which drove Don West nuts and forced him to leave the commentary table again. As he did, Kurt Angle emerged from the backstage area, beating on Jay Lethal. Angle beat Lethal all the way to the ring and hit him with the Angle Slam, before ripping his suit off as well.

In Jeff Jarrett's office, Jarrett said that he was going to handle this situation himself.

A Dr. Stevie segment was shown with Abyss, who at the end, said thanks to Stevie and his girlfriend, Lauren, he was cured.

Match Three - Matt Morgan vs. Shane Sewell

Matt Morgan was impressive here and pretty much dominated Shane Sewell, putting him out with the Hellevator for the win.

Winner Via Pinfall - Matt Morgan

After the match, Matt Morgan grabbed a bag of thumbtacks and brought them into the ring. He proceeded to cut a promo and say that he wanted to take on Abyss in a 10,000 Thumbtacks match at Destination X. He vowed to make Abyss tuck his tail and run.

Lauren talked with Eric Young who was also wearing a suit. Young challenged Kurt Angle to come after him. Angle came in and the two brawled, only to be pulled apart by TNA and Main Event Mafia security. Angle then said he was looking for Jeff Jarrett.

In his office, Jeff Jarrett stood by with Jeremy Borash, Jim Cornette and Mick Foley. Jarrett said he was going to go after Kurt Angle, but Cornette tried to talk him out of it. Sting came in and told Jarrett that it would all be taken care of at Destination X. Jarrett promised Sting that he would leave a little bit of Angle for him at Destination X.

Match Four - TNA Tag Team Championship Off The Wagon Challenge - Beer Money Inc. (James Storm and Robert Roode) w/ Jackie Moore (C) vs. LAX (Homicide and Hernandez)

This was a good match. LAX had things going their way, as Hernandez was able to launch Homicide over the top rope with a Border Toss onto Beer Money Inc. on the floor. As Hernandez was about to hit James Storm with the Border Toss, Robert Roode came in and cracked him with a steel chair, causing the DQ.

Winners Via Disqualification - LAX (Homicide and Hernandez) - STILL TNA Tag Team Champions - Beer Money Inc. (James Storm and Robert Roode)

After the match, Beer Money Inc. continued to beat on LAX, as Robert Roode hit Homicide with the steel chair as well. Team 3D came out and Beer Money Inc. headed up the ramp. Brother Ray got on the mic and challenged Beer Money Inc. to a TNA Tag Team Championship Off The Wagon Challenge at Destination X.

Mike Tenay then pitched the card for Destination X.

Kurt Angle entered the Impact Zone, demanding a mic and telling TNA security to keep away. Angle called out Jarrett and promised to eat him as an appetizer and prepare for the main course of Sting at Destination X. After a commercial break, Jeff Jarrett came out and went right to work, brawling with Angle out of the ring, over the guardrail and through the crowd. The two went back and forth, until Jarrett sent Angle into the wall and threw him out the back door, shutting it behind him. Mick Foley and Team 3D came out to celebrate with Jarrett as chants of "Thank You Jeff!" erupted.

Chris and Bryan Sokol are from Long Island, NY and would like to wish their mother, Tracie a very Happy Birthday!
