Impact: Styles wins gold
By CHRIS SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

It seems that another return is looming in TNA as a guitar has been brought into play. At Hard Justice, Samoa Joe countered Booker T's baseball bat with a mysterious guitar. Will the games continue? Read the Impact report and find out!

The show began with a recap of Hard Justice.

Lauren caught up with Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash as they arrived at the Impact Zone. She asked Joe about the guitar and he responded by saying that if Booker T and Sting wanted to play, he was prepared. Nash said that he wouldn't speak on Sting's behalf, but said that Joe only knows half the story.

Mike Tenay and Don West then did their usual welcome.

Match One - Christian Cage and Rhino vs. The Rock-N-Rave Infection (Jimmy Rave and Lance Rock) w/ Christy Hemme

Christy Hemme tried to help her team get the win, but to no avail, as Christian Cage and Rhino took the match with a Gore/Frogsplash combo to Jimmy Rave.

Jeremy Borash spoke to Kurt Angle who said that AJ Styles didn't abide by the rules at Hard Justice. He thanked Sting for helping him. He said that he has challenged Styles to an Olympic Rules Match for his Olympic Gold Medal. The match will be contested with no rope breaks, three two-minute periods and points count. He told Styles to get ready for a beating.

Next up was Karen's Angle with The Beautiful People. They talked about how they are hated in TNA. They then introduced their new associate, Kip James. James made fun of Angle until she concluded the interview.

Katie Kim, Gail Kim's sister was shown in attendance.

Lauren spoke to Jay Lethal, who says that he hasn't spoken to So Cal Val since Hard Justice. He says that he loves her and his feud with Sonjay Dutt isn't over until he says it is.

Sheik Abdul Bashir went on a rant about how he has come to America and taken what he wants.

Match Three - Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Jay Lethal

This was a good match. Jay Lethal went right at Sheik Abdul Bashir, who was able to fire back and hit Lethal with a spike to the throat. Bashir followed that up with the WMD for the win.

After the match, Sonjay Dutt came out and hit Lethal with a 450 splash.

JB spoke to Booker T and Sharmell who were livid. Booker said that he can't stop thinking about the guitar. He says that he had Samoa Joe defeated. Booker said that if you mess with a bull you get the horns and that his actions will speak louder than his words.

A package was then shown on Sting.

The rules were no rope breaks, two three-minute periods, two points for a takedown, two points for a near fall and a pinfall ends the match. Solid match, that was tied eight to eight, until the referee got distracted and missed a back elbow from Kurt Angle to AJ Styles, calling it a take down and putting Angle up ten to eight. The referee eventually got bumped, and the lights went out, with Sting's music hitting. When the lights came back on, Angle had a bat. The lights went back out and Jeff Jarrett's music played and when they came back on, Styles had a guitar and clocked Angle with it, busting him open again and getting the win.
