Impact: Joe gets served Hard Justice
By CHRIS SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

Impact returns as the road to Hard Justice continues. On this edition, AJ Styles, Christian Cage and Rhino team up to take on Kurt Angle and Team 3D in a six man tag team eliminations tables match. Also on Impact, Taylor Wilde defends the TNA Knockouts Championship against Velvet Sky and Karen Angle debuts "Karen's Angle." All this and more on Impact!

The show began with highlights of last week's Impact, followed by the usual Mike Tenay and Don West intro.

Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash then entered the Impact Zone where there was a cage set up. Joe got on the mic and challenged Booker T to a Six Sides of Steel Match at Hard Justice. Booker and Sharmell came out and proceeded to rag on Joe. Booker told Joe that he would be back out later with a contract for both of them to sign and make the match official.

In the back, Jeremy Borash spoke with AJ Styles, Christian Cage and Rhino. Styles talked about how he feels that Sting did what he did for a reason. Cage told Styles that if Sting showed up, he was going to get put through a table. He reminded Styles about what 3D did to them and said that if Sting was on their side, he was an enemy. Rhino said not to get sucked in and walked away.

Mike Tenay and Don West hyped the rest of Impact up and then showed a package on Sting.

Match One - Consequences Creed vs. Jimmy Rave w/ Lance Rock vs. Eric Young vs. Johnny Devine

This was a good back and forth match, with all four competitors going at it. Several near falls led to Johnny Devine going for the Devine Intervention on Consequences Creed, only to have it reversed and get rolled up for the win.

Winner Via Pinfall - Consequences Creed

After the match, Jimmy Rave, Lance Rock and Johnny Devine beat on Consequences Creed. Johnny Devine grabbed a chair, but Abyss ran out and cleaned house, hitting Rave with a chokeslam and Rock with a Black Hole Slam. Abyss then grabbed the chair, but dropped it and left.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash spoke with Kurt Angle and Team 3D who once again stated that Sting was with them. Angle then told Styles that he would be picturing him in bed with Karen Angle as he put him through the table.

A package was shown highlighting Kaz and his missed opportunities.

Karen's Angle was up next with her special guest, Kaz. Kaz talked about being trained by Killer Kowalski and having a strong passion for what he does. This segment will be continued on the next edition of Impact.

Taylor Wilde was shown stretching backstage.

Match Two - Matt Morgan vs. Trevor Chavis

Matt Morgan continues his squashing ways.

Backstage, Lauren caught up with the Motor City Machine Guns, who said that Beer Money were pricks. They said that were born and bred in the "Murder City" of Detroit and that they were going to aim and shoot with their straps on Beer Money, promising to teach them a lesson.

Lauren then spoke with Curry Man, Shark Boy and Super Eric, who were trying to come up with a catchphrase for their group. Super Eric said, "We come in peace. They leave in pieces." The trio agreed and made it their catchphrase.

Match Three - Strap Match - The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs. Beer Money (James Storm and Robert Roode) w/ Jackie Moore

This was a pretty good match. Jackie Moore got involved on several occasions and eventually tossed in some handcuffs to James Storm, that he used to whack Chris Sabin and allowed Robert Roode to make the cover and get the pin.

After the match, The Beautiful People beat on Taylor Wilde and brown bagged her. Gail Kim and ODB ran in, as the Beautiful People took off. Kim and ODB then checked on Wilde.

Match Seven - Six Man Tag Team Elimination Tables Match - AJ Styles, Christian Cage and Rhino vs. Kurt Angle and Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon)

This was a good main event. AJ Styles, Christian Cage and Rhino went on the attack right away and made the first elimination, putting Brother Devon through a table with a flapjack. Elimination One - Brother Devon. The match continued, as Kurt Angle brought a chair into the mix. Rhino Gored himself through a table, causing his elimination. Elimination Two - Rhino. Christian Cage had things going his way, until Devon came back out. Angle distracted the referee, as Devon crotched Cage on the top rope and then hit a 3D with Brother Ray through the table. Elimination Three - Christian Cage. Styles fought hard and had things going his way. Johnny Devine ran out and went to throw powder at Styles, but he hit Brother Ray. Styles then powerbombed Devine through a table and dropkicked Ray to the floor. As Ray was trying to get into the ring, Angle ran at Styles, who side-stepped him, causing Angle to collide with and send him through a table on the floor. Elimination Four - Brother Ray. Styles then took the fight to Angle and got a table. He set Angle up on the table and went to the top rope. Frank Trigg then ran in and hit Styles with a kendo stick, allowing Angle to recover and hit the Angle Slam on Styles through the table for the win. Elimination Five - AJ Styles.

Winners - Kurt Angle and Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon)

Booker T was shown walking to the ring.

Booker T and Sharmell then entered the Impact Zone, followed by Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash. Booker told Joe that he added some stipulations that there will be Tables, Ladders and Chairs available to use in the match. He then told Joe to send Kevin Nash to the back, because he was not involved in their situation. Joe then told Booker to send Sharmell to the back. Booker questioned if Joe was afraid of Sharmell. Booker gave Sharmell a kiss and told Joe he could do the same. Joe said he would, but Sharmell wasn't a good kisser. Nash then left as Booker signed the contract. Booker then handed it to Joe as the lights went out. When the came back on, Joe was laid out and Booker was holding a baseball bat.

Chris Sokol is from Long Island, NY and had to fly solo this week as his brother, Bryan, was busy with professional bowling commitments.
