Another week, and we want to know just who is Kane talking about? RAW continues the mayhem and build up to the Great American Bash with a stop on the campus of North Carolina State in Raleigh, North Carolina.
But first Shane and Stephanie McMahon address the chaos over the past two weeks on RAW. They want everyone to work together.
And we immediately cut to Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho beating on each other in front of the ring. As soon as the refs get those two separated, the arena explodes with pyro and Kane walks to the ring. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler stand up and look ready to run, as Kane makes his way to the announce table holding a bag. Kane looks at the two announcers and says he is sorry, and then walks off.
HBL and Jericho are still fighting in the back, and Lance Cade even gets in on the action.
Match #1 - Mickie James vs. Katie Lea Burchill w/ Paul Burchill
Mickie is very aware of Paul at ringside, but it doesnít stop her from picking up the win with a flying Thesz press.
Winner via pinfall: Mickie James
After the bell, Paul hits the ring grabbing Mickie so Katie can assault her. Kofi Kingston makes the save, chasing Katie and Paul from the ring. Kofi has a beef with Burchill stemming from an assault last week. Kofi wants a fight, and Paul heads back to the ring.
Match #2 - Kofi Kingston w/ Mickie James vs. Paul Burchill w/ Katie Lea - Intercontinental Title Match
We come back from break and the match is on. Kofi connects with a hip toss, and Burchill kicks out of the pin. Kingston locks on an arm bar. Burchill breaks free only to run into a drop kick. Kingston slaps on a key lock. Burchill backs Kofi into the corner. Kingston gets caught trying to fly over Paul, and Burchill lands a nasty kick to the stomach. Paul grounds Kofi with a waist lock. Kingston breaks free, but is slammed to the ground. Kingston goes into his controlled frenzy, as Cole calls it. He hits the double leg drop, and as Mickie pulls Katie off the apron, Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise (spinning kick) and gets the pin.

Santino Marella and Matt Stryker are talking backstage. Santino says he has issued an open challenge to the entire locker room. Kane walks up, and demands to know where CM Punk is. Santino points him in the right direction, and then swallows some antacid.
Kane finds Punk and says deep down he knows he is dead. Punk wants to know who is dead; Kane says he wants a match, but it isnít about the title. Kane says he needs this, and Punk says he needs to show he isnít a fluke, and Kane has his match. Punk wants to know whatís with the bag, Kane just laughs and walks off.
is with John Cena and wants to know what kind of match is a New York City Parking Lot Brawl. Cena says he has tried to tow the company line with Vince down, but Cena says he cannot smile anymore with this match coming up on Sunday. Cena rants that this isnít about who is the better athlete, but it is about pain, and broken bones, and destruction. Cena says he took the match because he doesnít like JBL. They have history going back to WM 21. Cena says the fact that JBL considers himself a great American makes him sick. (Cena really ratcheted up the intensity in this promo.) Cena says at the GAB hell will come to Earth and you will remember the name John Cena and accepts JBLís challenge. Cena then issues a challenge to JBL to find two partners and take him on with Cryme Tyme at his side.
Santino Marella is in the ring, and says he canít wait to see who challenges him. Out walks Beth Phoenix.
Match #3 - Santino Marella vs. Beth Phoenix
Santino and Beth lock up and break apart. Santino shoves her, and then dodges a slap. Phoenix is able to get on top of Santino and lands some punches. Beth then slams Marella to the mat. Santino recovers, and charges Phoenix in the corner. Beth dodges it and then rolls up Santino. Phoenix gets the three count.

Kelly Kelly comes to the ring for a match, but instead of an opponent, Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase come to the ring. They tell her they donít care she had a match, and tell her to leave. Cody says he and Ted arenít bad, they are realistic. Ted says they are the future whether you like it or not. Hacksaw Jim Duggan interrupts the champs. He comes to the ring with something to say from the heart. Hacksaw says he has always respected the people that paved the way. As performers they are great, but they have to grow up. Hacksaw is about to leave, but Cody wants him to stick around. Cody says he sees a 54 year old guy in gym shorts trying to relive the glory days, but those glory days werenít that glorious. Ted asks Duggan if he thinks he has
what it takes to be a champion. Ted says Duggan is pathetic and needs to grow up. The tag team champs leave Hacksaw in the ring. JBL appears on the Titantron and is impressed. He wants them to team with him against John Cena and Cryme Tyme. Cody and Ted accept the offer.
Match #4 - Kane vs. CM Punk
Punk feels out Kane with kicks and ducks a punch. Kane shoots Punk off the ropes and catches the champ trying to slide under his legs. Kane beats on Punk in the corner. Punk fights back and kicks Kane from the ring. The Big Red Machine looks to grab a chair, and then thinks better of it. Kane
sidesteps a baseball slide, knocking Punk to the floor. Back in the ring, Punk is slammed to the mat, and then Kane hits a low drop kick. Kane hits a big boot, and then locks in a sleeper. Punk is shot off the ropes, but cannot get the sunset flip over. Punk fights out and hits a roundhouse kick and then a drop kick. Punk nails two high knees in the corner, and then a back elbow. Punk drops Kane to his knees, and Punk connects with a kick to the back of the head. Punk nails a flying cross body, but only gets a two count. Punk attempts a GTS, but Kane blocks it and sets up a chokeslam. Punk kicks Kane in the temple to break free. Kane then knocks Punk off the apron. Punk blocks a shot into the ring post, and slams Kane into it. Punk follows with a flying bulldog. Punk beats the count into the ring, and Kane is counted out.
Winner via countout: CM Punk
After the bell, Kane starts tossing chairs into the ring. Kane storms the ring and assaults Punk, setting a chair around his neck. Batista hits the ring, spearing Kane, and taking him out with a chair shot. Batista picks up Punk, and CM extends his hand. Batista says he isnít his friend, and then lightly slaps him. Punk pushes Batista, and the Animal respond with a spine buster.
Match #5 - Chris Jericho w/ Lance Cade vs. Paul London
So the story here is that Paul London wanted to be like Shawn Michaels when he grew up. Jericho rushes London and beats him into the corner; the ref pushes Jericho back, allowing London to get some kicks in. Jericho tosses London to the floor, and then slams him into the security barrier. Back in the ring, London plays possum and hits a spinning heel kick. Jericho dodges a flying move over the ropes and London crashes to the mat. Jericho follows with a back breaker, and screams for Michaels as he locks in the Walls of Jericho. London taps.
Winner via submission: Chris Jericho
Jericho grabs a mike and tells London to use this loss and choose his path. Follow the gospel of Jericho to greatness or follows HBK and find nothing but disgrace and pain. "Sexy Boy" blares over the audio system, and HBK walks out on stage. Michaels says neither one will change the other's mind, but Jericho does not know righteousness or truth. HBK tells Y2J that at the GAB the worst is yet to come.
Jamie Noble is talking to, well hitting on, Layla in the back. He wants to hook up with her and become the next WWE power couple. Layla says she doesnít date short guys (Iím 6í1", by the way Layla). Noble says is average height, but above average in the ring. Noble says he will take on the next guy who walks by. Snitsky wanders over to tell Noble to keep it down. Layla tells Jamie this is his shot, so he calls out Snitsky. Layla
doesnít seem to think this is a good idea, but Noble calls out the big guy. Snitsky stalks Noble to the ring, and Jamie gets ready for a fight. Thereís no ref, so this isnít an official match. Noble attacks first, but Snitsky starts to dominate. Noble blocks a charge by getting his feet up, but then crashes and burns on a high risk maneuver. Snitsky hits a pump handled slam and leaves Noble in the ring.
Match #6 - John Cena and Cryme Tyme vs. JBL, Cody Rhodes, and Ted Dibiase
The faces chase the heels from the ring. JBL and the boys come back, and the match gets under way. JBL sends Rhodes out to face Cena, who slams Cody into the corner and then hits
a suplex. Cena returns to beating on Rhodes in the corner, and the tags in Shad. The former bodyguard connects on a clothesline. Dibiase gets a tag, and eats the mat on a shoulder block. Shad pulls off a double under hook suplex, and gets a two count. JTG gets the tag and a double team move scores a near fall. Rhodes makes a blind tag, and JTG runs into a dropkick. Cody with a series of punches, but JTG fires back and takes Rhodes down with a lariat. Dibiase breaks up the pinfall. Rhodes knees JTG in the gut, and JBL gets in a cheap shot from the apron. JBL gets in Cenaís face and JTG gets double teamed in the corner. Dibiase gets the tag, JTG fights back, but is taken down with a dropkick to the knees. Dibiase works over the knee of JTG with a submission hold, and we go to break.
After the break, Rhodes is
facing off with Shad. JBL gets the tag, and knocks Cena off the apron. JBL connects with a short-arm clothesline. Cody tags in and slams into Shad's arm from the top. Shad blocks a bulldog, but Rhodes is up first knocking Cena off the apron. Dibiase tags back in, peppering Shad with punches. Shad gets back to his feet, and Cody is back in the ring. Cody misses a moonsault, allowing Cena to get the hot tag. Cena takes down Rhodes with shoulder blocks and clotheslines. Dibiase is slammed to the mat and gets the five knuckle shuffle. JBL takes off, and Dibiase is F-Uíed. Cena follows with a throwback on Rhodes, and then a flying leg drop. Cena locks in the STF-U, before Rhodes can tap JBL kicks Cena in the head, getting disqualified.
Winner via DQ: John Cena and Cryme Tyme
JBL walks away, but Cena gives chase. JBL takes off through the back into the parking lot. Cena follows, cautiously. Cena canít find JBL, but decides to investigate a little further. JBL jumps Cena with a tire iron, and sets him up against a parked car. Bradshaw gets into his car and attempts to ram Cena, but when the car hits, Cena is gone. JBL looks at the damage and the show goes to black.
