By CHRIS & BRYAN SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

Victory Road is just around the corner, but we still need to make one final stop at the Impact Zone. On this edition of Impact, Kurt Angle teams up with The Beautiful People, to take on AJ Styles, Gail Kim and ODB. The TNA Knockouts Womens Championship is also on the line, as Awesome Kong defends against Taylor Wilde. All this and more on Impact!

The show began with a recap of the last edition of Impact.

In the parking lot, Homicide and Robert Roode were shown brawling. Jackie Moore and James Storm got involved, as the fight made it's way into the Impact Zone. With Homicide on the ropes, Hernandez finally ran out and made the save. Beer Money took a powder, while Hernandez and Hector Guerrero checked on Homicide, as Sting lurked in the rafters.

Winners Via Pinfall - Kip James, Petey Williams and Tomko

After the match, Tomko and Petey Williams were going to use Rhaka Kahn's lead pipe in a post match beatdown, but Abyss ran out and made the save. Williams left, as Abyss tossed Tomko from the ring. Abyss then went to grab the lead pipe, but felt uncomfortable.

Match Three - $25,000 Challenge TNA Knockouts Championship Match - Taylor Wilde vs. Awesome Kong w/ Riesha Saeed (C)

This was a really solid match, that saw Taylor Wilde give it her all to try and take down Awesome Kong. Roxxi Laveaux came out to ringside and watched Riesha Saeed to insure a level playing field. Kong Bomb attempts were avoided and a spinning backfist was reversed into a schoolgirl, giving Wilde the big win.

Winner Via Pinfall and NEW TNA Knockouts Champion - Taylor Wilde

After the match, Jeremy Borash congratulated Taylor Wilde, who said that dreams do come true.

Editor's Note: I will now be turning the report over to my brother, Bryan for the second half of TNA Impact.
