ECW: Miz & Morrison still the champs
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on ECW on Sci-Fi: Kane and CM Punk challenge John Morrison and The Miz for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Should be a good one!

And we are TAPED! from Fresno State University. Mike Adamle and "The Tazz" are our hosts. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-14DLSV).

Match #1 - Kofi Kingston (Jamaica) & Evan Bourne (St. Louis, MO) vs. Mike Knox (Phoenix, Ariz.) & Shelton Benjamin (Orangeburg, S.C.)

Bourne gets to show off some of his athleticism early before tagging Kingston in. He gets the displeasure of working with Knox. With Knox in the corner, Kofi goes after Benjamin on the apron but ends up running into a Knox clothesline.

Knox tags Benjamin, who does a number of Kingston. When Kofi got a slight edge, Benjamin was able to scramble to tag Knox, who kept Kingston away from Bourne -- but not for long.

Bourne comes in hot, hitting some high flying moves, but is dispatched by Knox to the outside with a big boot.

In a mad scramble with Knox down on his bum, Bourne leapt to the top rope and drilled Knox with a dropkick for the pin.

Winners via pinfall: Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston

Backstage, Tiffany meets with Armando Estrada as he looks for Theodore Long. Tiffany is revealed as Long's assistant. Long gives Estrada the chance to win a WWE contract -- but only if he beats Finlay tonight.

Match #2 - Kelly Kelly (Jacksonville, Fla.) vs. Victoria (Louisville, Ky.)

Kelly gets off to a fast start but Victoria squashes that quickly and goes to work on Kelly's left arm/shoulder. Kelly then gets a some hope, almost scoring the fall off a victory roll. On the apron, Kelly gets Victoria in a head scissors, but Victoria, who was still in the ring, just shoved her off to the outside. Kelly lands flat on her face. After a court of five and no movement, the referee calls it off.

Winner via referee stoppage: Victoria

Match #3 - Finlay (Belfast, Northern Ireland) vs. Armando Estrada (Cuba)

Estrada attacks Finlay before the bell -- a bad idea because it only makes Finlay more upset. A few moves followed by the Celtic Cross and that's all she wrote for Estrada.

Winner via pinfall: Finlay

After the fall, Theodore Long comes out and offers Estrada a second chance. He's going to have another match right now.

Match #4 - Armando Estrada (Cuba) vs. Colin Delaney (Rochester, N.Y.)

With Delaney in the aisle, Finlay nails Estrada with the Shillelagh. Delaney comes in makes the cover.

Winner via pinfall: Colin Delaney

Long says the third time is the charm and he gets another opportunity.

Match #5 - Armando Estrada (Cuba) vs. Hornswaggle (Belfast, Northern Ireland

Tadpole splash. Fin.

Winner via pinfall: Hornswaggle

After the match, Finlay clocks Delaney with the Shillelagh -- and laughs.

We're back and Mark Henry is in the ring. He calls out the Big Show. Of course, Show has no problem obliging. Henry congratulates him on his title shot and says, if he wins, he wants to be the first challenger. He then offers to shake his hand. The two shake hands but Show doesn't let go. Show says if Henry keeps campaigning for an ass whooping, he's going to get elected. Henry walks away and as Show leaves the ring, Kane's music hits. They meet and have a stare down in the aisle before Show lets Kane make his way into the ring.

Match #6 - WWE Tag Team Championship - John Morrison (Los Angeles, Calif.) & The Miz (Cleveland, Ohio) vs. Kane (Hell, Fire & Brimstone) & CM Punk (Chicago, Ill.)

Punk gets off to a hot start against both Morrison and Miz, sending Miz to the outside with a slingshot and following it up with a slingshot crossbody,

Back from break and Kane is in control of Miz, Kane misses the flying clothesline, allowing Miz to put the boots to him and drag him into their corner where he tags Morrison. The two quickly work on Kane with a Morrison missle dropkick getting two. The duo utilize quick tags but Kane is able to tag Punk and Miz tags Morrison. Punk comes in and hits a series of kicks and knees but Morrison counters with a kick of his own. A backslide by Punk is broken up by Miz, but he eats a high kick for his trouble. But Morrison quickly hits the Moonlight Drive for the win. Another loss for CM Punk.
