Tonight on ECW on Sci-Fi: It's a preview of the big WWE Tag Team
Championship match at Judgment Day as John Morrison battles Kane while CM
Punk faces off against The Miz. Should be a good one!
After a riveting video package detailing his win, Colin Delaney is
assured by ECW General Manager that the target on his back will be even
bigger now. Delaney signs his contract and Estrada proceeds to book Delaney
in a match against Mike Knox TONIGHT!
And we are "LIVE!" just an hour west of me in Grand Rapids, Mich. Mike
Adamle and "The Tazz" are our hosts. This show is presented in WWEHD
(TV-14DLSV).
Match #1 - CM Punk (Chicago, Ill.) vs. The Miz (Cleveland,
Ohio)
The Miz (HOO-RAH!) is dominant throughout the early going, as Adamle
asserts that if this match was Little League baseball, it'd be called off
under the mercy rule.
But of course, right as Adamle speaks up, Punk gets on a roll, hitting
the running kneelift. He doesn't get the bulldog but he retains control with
various kicks.
They both work for a backslide but neither can get it. Punk hoists Miz
for the GTS, but Miz slides out and hits the Reality Check.
Winner via pinfall: The Miz
Later tonight, Kane will battle John Morrison, but coming up next it's
"Diva Fever" as Cherry, Kelly Kelly and Michelle McCool head to the
ring.
(Ads -- sorry to all my loyal readers, no hockey scores to report
tonight!)
Match #2 - Kelly Kelly (Jacksonville, Fla.), Michelle McCool
(Jacksonville, Fla.) & Cherry (The Other Side of the Tracks) vs. Layla
(Miami, Fla.), Victoria (Louisville, Ky.) & Natalya (Calgary,
Alberta)
A lot of nothing happened before Cherry rolled up Victoria for the
pin.
Winners via pinfall: Kelly Kelly, Michelle McCool & Cherry
Lena Yada is backstage with Shelton Benjamin, who assets that Kofi
Kingston is walking around with a horseshoe stuck where the sun don't shine
and he's going to pull it out. Kofi, of course, is standing there and wishes
him good luck. Shelton doesn't like Kofi taking up some of his interview
time and attacks him. Kofi responds by driving Shelton into a steel door and
walking away.

Colin Delaney makes his official debut against Mike Knox and it's
next!

Match #3 - Colin Delaney (Rochester, N.Y.) vs. "The Equal Opportunity
Pain Dispenser" Mike Knox (Phoenix, Ariz.)
Colin has music! Colin has music! What a revolutionary time for WWE
music. On Monday, RAW seemed to retire "HEY!" (R.I.P. 2004-2008) and now
this?
Colin gets beat on for about 90 seconds before Knox hits the corkscrew
faceplant for the win.
Winner via pinfall: Mike Knox
Almost immediately after the match, Estrada's music hits and he says he
has signed himself to a lucrative contract and his first match is now.
Match #4 - Colin Delaney (Rochester, N.Y.) vs. Armando Estrada
(Cuba)
Estrada hits a reverse DDT slam for the quick win.
Winner via pinfall: Armando Estrada
Backstage, Kane is standing in anticipation of his match with John
Morrison, which is NEXT!

Next week on ECW: Shelton Benjamin looks to end the undefeated streak of
Kofi Kingston for the third time.
Match #5 - John Morrison (Los Angeles, Calif.) vs. Kane (Hell, Fire &
Brimstone)
After a strong showing against Batista on Smackdown! this past week,
Morrison doesn't have the same type of luck early on against Kane. as the
Big Red Machine grounds the Shaman of Sexy.
Morrison is only able to get some weak offense in by working Kane's weak
knee. After some brief interference by The Miz, CM Punk joins the fray to
level the playing field.

We're back and Kane is still in solid control but again, Morrison keeps
trying to work on Kane's injured left knee.
On the ground, Morrison works on the knee some more and is able to keep
Kane on the mat for the most part.
This part of the match is all Morrison as he really focuses on Kane's
left leg/knee. Each time Kane tries to get to his feet, Morrison is there to
chop him back down.
Kane, though, is able to fire back (no pun intended), hitting the
sidewalk slam and the flying clothesline on Morrison. He calls for the
chokeslam, drawing Miz onto the apron. Punk pulls him down but gets thrown
into the steps for his troubles.
With the ref focused on the outside, Morrison clocks Kane with the tag
title belt, hits a springboard kick and gets the cover.
Winner via pinfall: John Morrison
Morrison and Miz double-team Kane after the match, bringing Punk in, who
gets a beatdown of his own. The duo focus back on Kane and lay another
beating on him before taking off.
That's all she wrote. Go Wings!
