Wrestlers say they're tough, too

There's no question that MMA competitors have plenty of athleticism and are tough as nails. But WWE competitors, even in their playground full of schtick and illusion, think they're pretty rugged, too.
Former WWE champ Brock Lesnar has crossed over to the MMA world and could be an intimidating force once he learns a ground game.
"Pro wrestlers are some of the toughest athletes on the planet," says Alvin Burke Jr., better known to WWE fans as MVP. "With the right training, a lot of guys could do well in MMA. Brock is going to be a force."
Burke says Mark Henry is the scariest guy on the roster. "I've seen him bend steel just to amuse me. He can bend a fork like a swizzle stick."
WHAT'S BARACK COOKIN'?
Presidential candidates Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain appeared in taped messages on RAW. There were several wrestling references and Obama sounds just like The Rock. That was real, but WWE took it a step further, putting "Obama" against Clinton in a match. Carolina indy wrestler Deon Davis played the fake Obama, while Lexie Fyfe played Hillary.
RVD'S WIFE HAS CANCER
Rob Van Dam's wife, Sonya Szatkowski, has been diagnosed with colon cancer. Van Dam wrote on his myspace page that his 32-year-old wife, who had been troubled by stomach cramps for months, would "kick cancer's ass." Szatkowski advises everyone to go for checkups.
