Tonight on ECW on Sci-Fi: Two championships are on the line as Chavo
Guerrero defends the ECW Championship against CM Punk while John Morrison
and The Miz defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against Tommy Dreamer and
Colin Delaney. Should be a good one!
And we are LIVE! from Cleveland, Ohio. Joey Styles and Tazz are our hosts
and this show is presented in WWEHD (TV-14DLSV).
Match #1 - WWE Tag Team Championship - John Morrison (Los Angeles,
Calif.) & The Miz (Cleveland, Ohio) vs. Tommy Dreamer (Yonkers, NY) & Colin
Delaney (Rochester, NY)
The champs get an early advantage on Delaney, bullying him around the
ring with ease. Delaney gets the tag to Dreamer and he comes in and throws
Morrison around, hitting a catapult and a reverse neckbreaker for two, as
Morrison gets his foot on the bottom rope.
Dreamer catches a Morrison kick and locks on a Texas Cloverleaf but Miz
breaks it up with a boot to the head. Miz gets the tag and immediately goes
after Delaney, knocking him off the apron. Miz tags Morrison back in and
they double team Dreamer before Delaney comes running in and goes nuts with
a chair on the champs.
Winners via disqualification: John Morrison and The Miz
I believe that was a de-wussification of Colin Delaney.

Match #2 - Shelton Benjamin (Orangeburg, SC) vs. Stevie Richards
(Philadelphia, Pa.)
Well, this is an interesting pairing.
Shelton is all over Stevie early. He's not giving him the room to
breathe, working over his left arm/shoulder with a variety of locks.
The tide starts to turn when Benjamin misses a flying crossbody, giving
Richards the opportunity he needed to make a comeback.
Richards scores with an enziguri but it isn't long before Benjamin hits
the inverted bulldog out of nowhere for the win.
Winner via pinfall: Shelton Benjamin
After the match, Benjamin declared that, at WrestleMania, there ain't no
stoppin' him nawww.

Kofi Kingston is backstage with Kelly Kelly who expresses that Kelly,
like Maria, could be a Playboy cover girl as well. Kofi steps out and Layla
steps in and says that Kelly is jealous that Playboy asked Layla and not
Kelly to pose for the magazine. Kelly calls Layla a liar, Layla slaps Kelly
and they have a catfight.
Match #3 - Kane (Hell, Fire & Brimstone) vs. James Curtis (Parts
Unknown)
Before the match begins, Chuck Palumbo comes down to scout Kane, who
he'll be facing Friday on Smackdown!
Palumbo's engine revving does not distract Kane who disposes of Mr.
Curtis in about 24 seconds.
Winner via pinfall: Kane

Styles and Tazz have just learned that John Morrison and The Miz will
defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against Tommy Dreamer and Colin Delaney
in an Extreme Rules match next week!
Lena Yada is backstage with CM Punk who runs down Chavo Guerrero for
being a coward.

Match #4 - ECW Championship - Chavo Guerrero (El Paso, Texas) vs. CM
Punk (Chicago, Ill.)
Punk controls much of the early portion of the match, wearing down Chavo
on the ground and hitting his trademark kicks and knees. But the tide turns
when Punk goes to springboard into the ring from the apron and Guerrero
knocks him off the top of the rope, sending him very awkwardly to the floor
with a sick thud.

We're back and Guerrero is firmly in control, working over Punk's left
leg. Punk is able to get away briefly, but Chavo quickly hits a chop block
to bring Punk back to the ground.
Guerrero is hitting every trick in the book on Punk's leg at this point:
Across the bottom rope, smashing it up against the ring post, kicks to the
back of the knee, kneebars, etc.
Punk somehow finds it in him to start a comeback, hitting a suicide dive
and a flying crossbody on Chavo. He follows this up with a nice armbar but
Guerrero rolls into the ropes for the break.
Punk hits his flying knee followed by a bulldog for a long two but gets
caught in a half-Boston Crab in a scramble but makes the long crawl to the
ropes.
After getting out, Punk tries to lift Guerrero for GTS but his knee can't
support the move and he crumbles to the ground. Guerrero then looks for the
Three Amigos but Punk rolls into a small package during one of them which
gets a near-fall.
Chavo follows this with a Tornado DDT for another near-fall but goes to
the top for the Frog Splash, but Punk gets there to stop him and goes for a
Superplex. Guerrero counters out of it, crotching Punk on the top rope. Punk
falls to the mat in perfect position for the Frog Splash and that's all she
wrote.
Winner via pinfall and STILL ECW Champion: Chavo Guerrero
