Impact: Love is in the air
By CHRIS SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

Vows are renewed and wars are ignited as the fallout from Against All Odds takes place on this edition of Impact. Plus, AJ Styles and Tomko team up to take on Samoa Joe and Kevin Nash. The Awesome Kong goes up against ODB in a Street Fight and The Angles renew their vows. All this and more on Impact!

The show began with a recap of Against All Odds. Karen Angle was then shown arriving with her kid in a wedding dress. Eric Young ran up to her looking for help in his match against Rellik. Angle's kid tells Young that there is no such thing as monsters. Karen then told Young that Jeremy Borash was her Maid of Honor and said to look for help elsewhere.

Jim Cornette started the show out in the ring and called out Samoa Joe for his third attempt at re-signing a TNA contract. Joe was about to sign the contract, when Christian Cage walked out and said that he got screwed at Against All Odds. He told Joe that he wasn't blaming him, but he wanted to get even, so he asked if Joe would be his partner in a match against Tomko and AJ Styles later on. Joe agreed, as Cornette begged him to sign the contract. Joe said that before he took care of TNA business, he was going to take care of some personal business.

In the back, Crystal caught up with Tomko who said that he didn't need Christian Cage to become a star. He said he was done with Cage and as for The Angle Alliance, he wasn't going to say anything until he talked to Kurt Angle. Back from a commercial break, Crystal spoke with AJ Styles who was upset, because he didn't agree to a match against Christian Cage and Samoa Joe. Styles was also upset that Kurt and Karen Angle were renewing their vows. Kurt Angle then walked in and told Styles to buck up, because he was going to be the best man. This angle is running pretty well.

Team 3D then entered the Impact Zone, as Earl Hebner broke out a scale to make sure that Team 3D was 275 pounds a piece or under. Brother Devon went first and made it, however, even after stripping, Brother Ray could not make the weight, so Brother Devon was put in a Handicap match.

Match One - Handicap Match - Brother Devon w/ Brother Ray vs. Shark Boy and Curry Man

Brother Devon faired pretty well in this match-up. Shark Boy was able to his the Stunner on Devon, however, Brother Ray blasted Curry Man with the scale, allowing Devon to recover and get the pin.

Winner Via Pinfall - Brother Devon

In the back, Crystal caught up with Booker T, who was waiting for Robert Roode to show up, so he could get his hands on him. A package was then shown for Rellik, who said he was planning on beating Eric Young. Highlights of the Barbed Wire Massacre II from Against All Odds were shown next.

Scott Steiner made his way into the Impact Zone. Abyss came out all bandaged up, shook his head and turned around, before taking his mask off and leaving the Impact Zone. Back from a commercial break, they replayed Abyss' breakdown, as Scott Steiner grabbed a mic and said that he wanted a match. He brought his favorite freak, Rocka Chan with him and he wanted some in-ring action. "Maple Leaf Muscle" Petey Williams came out and accepted Steiner's challenge and said that he was cheated at the PPV, but this time he was going to come out on top.

Match Two - Scott Steiner w/ Rocka Chan vs. "Maple Leaf Muscle" Petey Williams

This was a decent back and forth match. Scott Steiner was able to hit Petey Williams with the Samoan Drop for the win. After the match, Steiner helped Williams up and gave him a pat on the back, before leaving with Rocka Chan.

In the back, Kurt Angle caught up with Tomko, who agreed to join the Angle Alliance, but let it be known that he wasn't going to be Angle's bitch. Angle agreed to his terms and told him to go look for AJ Styles. He asked if Tomko would be coming to the renewal of the vows, to which Tomko said he wasn't. Angle said he was sure that Tomko would send a gift in the mail.

Backstage, Christian Cage was laid out. Jeremy Borash was shown with Karen Angle. Eric Young ran in and was still freaking out about Rellik. Some screaming ensued, before Borash complimented Karen's dress. James Farrior of the Pittsburgh Steelers was shown in the crowd. Samoa Joe then came out and said he knew that The Angle Alliance had something to do with Christian Cage getting laid out, so he called out Kevin Nash to be his tag team partner.

Match Three - AJ Styles and Tomko vs. Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe

This was an all out brawl between the two teams. The end came when Kevin Nash was choking out AJ Styles. Kurt Angle ran in and hit Samoa Joe, allowing Tomko to hit his TKO on Joe and pick up the win.

Winners Via Pinfall - AJ Styles and Tomko

Back from the commercial break, replays were shown from the tag team match. In the back, Crystal was with Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe who said that the war wasn't over. Joe said that if Kurt Angle had the balls, he could bring his Alliance and it would be them versus Joe, Nash and Christian Cage.

Match Four - Eric Young vs. Rellik

SQUASH! Rellik gets the win.

Hermie Sadler was backstage with LAX, The Motor City Machine Guns and NASCAR drivers Juan Pablo Montoya and Reed Soranstam. They promoted the Daytona 500 and built a little tension between LAX and The Motor City Machine Guns. Booker T was shown still waiting for Robert Roode to arrive. Jimmy Spencer than joined the commentary team for the three way dance.

Match Five - Three Way Dance - Jimmy Rave w/ Lance Hoyt and Christy Hemme vs. Homicide w/ Juan Pablo Montoya, Salinas and Hernandez vs. Chris Sabin w/ Alex Shelley and Reed Soranstam

This was complete madness. The NASCAR guys joined in on the cluster, with Homicide rolling up Jimmy Rave for the win.

Winner Via Pinfall - Homicide

A package was shown highlighting the history of Rhino in TNA. Rhino then came out and challeneged James Storm to an Elevation X match at Destination X.

A package was shown highlighting the history of The Awesome Kong in TNA. In the back, Crystal spoke with ODB who said that she was going to finally defeat The Awesome Kong. Gail Kim returned and said that she had ODB's back if Reisha Saeed got involved.

Match Six - Street Fight - The Awesome Kong w/ Riesha Saeed vs. ODB

This was another all out brawl. Riesha Saeed and Gail Kim got involved, leading to a miscue, where ODB knocked out Kim. The Awesome Kong then finished off ODB to get the win. After the match, Kim and ODB got into a shoving match, as Angelina Love and Velvet Sky ran out to break them apart.

Winner Via Pinfall - The Awesome Kong

In the back, Payton Banks and Crystal approached Booker T to let him know that Robert Roode wouldn't be coming. Booker told Banks to call Roode back and let him know that if he didn't show up, he was going to Manhattan to find him. Jim Cornette came over and said that Booker would get his chance for revenge at Destination X, but he couldn't no show the next Impact to find Roode, so he was going to keep him occupied with a non-title match against Kurt Angle.

AJ Styles, Kurt and Karen Angle, their daughter Keira, and Jeremy Borash made their way out to meet the minister in the ring for the renewing of Kurt and Karen's vows. Styles was all disheveled throughout the ceremony. When it came to objections, Kevin Nash and Samoa Joe came out and called out Kurt. They then came down to the ring and a brawl ensused. The minister was knocked down and Styles was sent into Karen. Styles continued to check on Karen, while Kurt was beaten. Admist the madness, the minister got up and pronounced Styles and Karen husband and wife, with Styles kissing Karen as Kurt looked on in amazement.
