Canadian hero Gail Kim coming home

Gail Kim is coming back to Canada. And she'll be wearing the TNA women's championship, when she wrestles in Montreal (Centre Pierre Charbonneau) on Dec. 27, Quebec City (Colisee Pepsi) on Dec. 28, Gatineau (Robert Guertin Arena) on Dec. 29 and Oshawa (General Motors Centre) on Dec. 30. (check out tnawrestling.com for ticket and event details).

Kim feels a strong bond to her home country -- her family lives in the Toronto area.

"We have a lot of Canadians on our roster and we're so excited," she said. "The Canadian fans are great"

The beautiful Kim, named as one of Forbes' Top 40 America's Most Beautiful Bachelorettes, is thrilled to be doing what she loves -- wrestling.

"Patience paid off," she said. "I waited for two years. It's hard to watch the guys wrestle all the time when you know you can do it. Winning (the Women's TNA title) was the best moment of my career."

Kim started watching wrestling as a kid, then picked up on it again in her 20s.

"I was obsessed with (wrestling)," she said. "I was always an athlete. I felt I was meant to do something physical. This where my passion lies. It's a dream come true."
