Tonight on ECW on Sci-Fi: The rivalry that just won't die keeps on
rollin' in the Land of Extreme as Matt Striker and Big Daddy V battle Kane
in a handicap match. while a much misused superstar makes his ECW debut!
Should be a good one!
And we are LIVE! from Tampa, Fla. and see a very festive Thanksgiving
setup as we head right into our first match.
Match #1 - CM Punk (Chicago, Ill.) vs. Kenny Dykstra (Worcester,
Mass.)
Holy cow, folks, this is another fresh matchup courtesy of the
ECW/Smackdown! "talent exchange". I can dig it. I already feel pity for
Kenny for being from Worcester, Mass. I went there once in 2005 and to say I
wasn't impressed would be an understatement. I can't think of what's worse:
Being from Worcester or being in the Spirit Squad.
Kenny works over Punk's neck early and tries a superplex, but Punk pushes
him off an hits a flying crossbody for two. Punk hits the running knee in
the corner, but on the follow up is sent shoulder first into the ring post
by Kenny.
Kenny goes to the top rope, but Punk dropkicks the rope and crotches
Kenny then lifts him right off the top turnbuckle and hits GTS for
three.
Winner via pinfall: CM Punk
Coming up tonight: Kane vs. Matt Striker and Big Daddy V in a handicap
match!

We're back and Elijah Burke is in the ring and has a microphone. Burke tells us he's going to change ECW once again and has called over his good friend, Shelton Benjamin, who makes his ECW debut with the most pyro I've ever seen on ECW.
Match #2 - Shelton Benjamin (Orangeburg, SC) vs. Tommy Dreamer
(Yonkers, NY)
For those keeping score at home, Dreamer came to the ring wearing a
bright yellow bandana but quickly ditched it, handing it to someone in the
crowd.
It appears as if Benjamin is now full-time ECW, as Joey Styles informs us
that Burke has convinced Benjamin to join the ECW lockerroom.
This match is all Shelton, as he beats Dreamer from pillar to post
outside of a few punches and a bulldog. The end came when Benjamin pulled
Dreamer off the turnbuckle, waited for him to get up and hits some kind of
modified-DDT that I've never seen before for the three. Styles described it
as a bulldog turned into a DDT. I'd say that's a pretty accurate
description.
Winner via pinfall: Shelton Benjamin
Coming up: We'll check out a confrontation that took place between Kelly
Kelly and Layla after ECW went off the air last week! Ooh boy!

Match #3 - Deuce & Domino w/ Cherry (The Other Side of the Tracks) vs.
Jesse & Festus (On the Train Going Over the Tracks)
What is this? Tag team wrestling on ECW? Holy mackeral. In good news, the
NEW WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz (HOO-RAH!) join Joey
Styles and Tazz on commentary, "scouting" potential opponents. Morrison
brings a shirt of his for Tazz and says he would've brought one for Joey,
except they only come in adult sizes.
Deuce and Domino control Jesse before he gets the hot tag to Festus, who
rolls over the duo. The crowd was actually chanting for Festus. Jesse tags
back in and Festus launches Jesse into Domino for the three count.
Winners via pinfall: Jesse & Festus
Once again, Morrison and Miz are absolute gold on commentary. These guys,
as a duo, are growing on me more and more each week. I might actually have
to start watching Smackdown! now.
Backstage, Matt Striker cuts a promo on Kane saying that he shouldn't
have touched him last week and now Big Daddy V will bring the pain to
Kane.
Up next courtesy of WWE Mobile: We'll check out a confrontation that took
place between Kelly Kelly and Layla after ECW went off the air last week! I
can't wait!

Coming up this Friday on Smackdown!, it's the return of The Cutting Edge
as our faithful host, Edge, welcomes Batista.
Match #4 - Kevin Thorn (Phoenix, Ariz.) vs. Nunzio (Rockland County,
NY)
Thorn is out with a completely new look (it doesn't even look like him
anymore) as we see him in action for the first time since Oct. 9. Once
again, an ECW Original will be used as a job boy.
I could pretty much copy my match description from the Benjamin-Dreamer
match for this one, only it was shorter. Thorn hits Original Sin after about
90 seconds, tops, for the win.
Winner via pinfall: Kevin Thorn
And now it's what we've been waiting for...the backstage confrontation
between Kelly Kelly and Layla. First, they poke each other, then they push
each other, then they slap each other. Then Kelly throws milk on Layla. Then
Layla shoves Kelly and throws powdered coffee creamer on Kelly. Then Kelly
responds with more milk. Then two refs break them up. This is hard-hitting
journalism right here, folks. That's 30 seconds of my life I'll never get
back.
Coming up next, it's the main event of the evening as Matt Striker and
Big Daddy V take on Kane in a handicap match.

Layla is out with a mic and essentially runs down Kelly Kelly until Kelly
comes out from behind and smashes a pie into her face. Of course, this sets
off a food fight of not-quite-epic proportions. Move along, nothing to see
here -- unless you like to see women throw turkey legs at each other.

Match #5 - Matt Striker (New York City) & Big Daddy V (Harlem, NY) vs.
Kane (Hell, Fire & Brimstone)
Kane and Big Daddy V staredown before the match before Striker and V try
to beat on Kane to no avail but it isn't long before the numbers game
catches up with Kane and Big Daddy V splashes him and hits the avalanche in
the corner.
Kane fires up, hitting the flying clothesline on V and a sidewalk slam on
Striker for two. The end quickly comes after Kane delivers a big boot to V
and a chokeslam to Striker for the pin.
Winner via pinfall: Kane
Post match, Big Daddy V is quickly back up and hits a Samoan Drop and a
very large elbow drop on Kane before standing over him as the show goes to
black.
