A release and a voluntary departure have slightly thinned out the North American women's ranks in the world of pro wrestling.

WWE.com today reported that the company had, "come to terms on the release of ECW Diva Brooke as of November 1," while former TNA backstage personality Leticia Cline announced she had officially left the company.

Brooke Adams had been with WWE since 2006 when she was recruited to join Ohio Valley Wrestling following the 2006 Raw Diva Search. Upon being called up to the Fed in early 2007, Adams was inserted into the newly formed Extreme Expose dance team with Kelly Kelly and the 2006 Diva Search winner Layla. Her release comes just two days after the latest ECW broadcast on Sci-Fi.

Cline's announcement came from her MySpace page. In an entry in her blog dated Wednesday, October 31, she announced that, "TNA's Terry Taylor stated that if any of TNA's talent was unhappy with TNA and their role within the company that they would be granted their release. With that said, I have asked for my release from TNA and it has been granted as of November 25th."

Cline had been a backstage interviewer for TNA since 2006.
