Raw: DX together yet again
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

The night after a pay-per-view pretty much means a recap show. I don't think things will change in Philly since last night was Cyber Sunday; it's a night were the creative staff can take a night off and not worry about continuity or matches that makes sense. (Wait, this is different from when?)

And the lazy booking continues as the Divas kick off the show with a costume contest battle royale. (I guess the costumes were more then a one night rental and WWE wanted to get their money's worth.)

Match #1 -- WWE Diva Costume Contest Battle Royale

I don't even know where to begin. Although, Torrie should be the crowd favorite decked out in Philadelphia Eagles gear. (And there's the cheer "E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!") And Kelly Kelly is the winner.

Winner via elimination: Kelly Kelly

Beth Phoenix comes to the ring and she means business. Melina and Jillian toss Kelly back in the ring, where Phoenix hits her with a double chicken wing.

Shawn Michaels is shown walking through the back.

HBK enters to raucous Philly crowd. Michaels says he has good news and bad news. The good news he knocked Orton out cold with sweet chin music; the bad news being HBK does not have the WWE Title. HBK accuses Orton of getting intentionally DQ'ed. Michaels gets a rematch and he wants it now. But there might be "No chance in hell" that it's going to happen.

Vince struts to the ring and asks the crowd if they want to see a rematch. Vince then turns to Shawn and wants to know what he is doing. Vince knows Shawn wants to be the greatest of all time, but he also wants revenge. Vince says deep down HBK's soul is still rotten. Shawn snaps and admits he wants to hurt Orton and make him suffer. Vince tells him to be careful what he wished for, because he has it, at Survivor Series, I think. HBK responds with a super kick that he pulls back at the last second, barely missing Vince's chin.

Match #2 -- Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly vs. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas

Shelton pushes Holly into the corner, where Holly fights out and knocks Haas off the apron. Benjamin lays out Holly with clothesline. Holly hits a dropkick on Haas and tags in Rhodes, who enters via the top rope with a shoulder block. Rhodes hits a power slam, Benjamin breaks the pin. Holly knocks Benjamin to the outside, and Rhodes hits a DDT on Haas. Rhodes gets the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Cody Rhodes and Hardcore Holly

Candice Michelle almost breaking her neck is shown again. (This is a perfect example of what not to do. Beth Phoenix I'm looking in your direction.)

The Grish is with Phoenix and she says she has no regrets. She is making a statement. Beth says, "Candice go move on with your life."

Mickie James thanks Trevor Murdoch for pushing her out of the way during last week's match. Murdoch says it was just instinct. Lance Cade moves in and Mickie takes off. Cade wants to know what's going on. Murdoch says they're just talking. Cade tells Murdoch he cost them the match. Murdoch says he is focused on the championship.

William Regal tells Vince to be more careful, and wants to know why Triple H is facing Umaga and Orton with some many people injured. Vince says it's personal. Vince then wants to know where Hornswoggle is. Regal brings him in, and Vince wants a moment alone. Vince tells Hornswoggle he has to stand on his own, which is why he hasn't been around. Vince says every grown man should be knocked down once, so he can get back up. A man also has to learn how to deal with success. Vince tells Hornswoggle he has to learn to hate.

Match #3 -- Hornswoggle vs. Jonathan Coachman

With both men in the ring a special guest referee is announced, and it's MICK FOLEY! Hornswoggle hugs Foley's leg, and then gets a high five. Foley checks Coach for foreign objects. Horny is backed into the corner, but stomps on Coach's toes, and then kicks him in the quad. Coach picks up the little guy, but Horny bites his way out. Hornswoggle hits a dropkick with Coach on his knees. Coach dodges a flying elbow, and gets Horny in the corner. Coach accidently hits Foley with a back elbow and then not-so-accidently knocks Foley out of the ring. Coach gets a chair, but Foley cuts him off. Mr. Socko makes an appearance, and Foley gives him to Hornswoggle. Instead of the mouth, Horny grabs Coach by the groin. Foley knocks Coach down, and Hornswoggle hits a frog splash. Horney covers for the win.

Winner via pinfall: Hornswoggle

The Grish is with The Game. Grish says things don't look good for Triple H. Hunter says he can guarantee he has an ace up his sleeve. If he's going down, Orton and Umaga are going with him.

Match #4 -- Paul London w/ Brian Kendrick vs. Lance Cade w/ Trevor Murdoch

London hits a cross body block. Cade responds with clubbing blows across London's back. Cade charge, but London kicks him in the face and hits a springboard cross body. London is tossed to the outside, and Kendrick cuts off Murdoch. Cade hits a spinebuster and gets the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Lance Cade

The Highlanders come to the ring, and decimate London and Kendrick.

Match #5 -- Jeff Hardy and D.H. Smith vs. Ken Kennedy and Carlito

The ref has trouble keeping the men separated before the bell. Hardy and Kennedy start things off. Hardy blocks a hip toss and counters with a clothesline. Hardy fights out of the corner after Carlito tags in. Hardy tags in Smith, who hits a back body drop on Carlito and then clotheslines him out of the ring. Kennedy jumps in and Hardy tosses him out.

After the break, Carlito has D.H. in a leg lock. Smith breaks free on to be taken down with a chop block. Kenned tags in and continues work to leg and knee. Kennedy tries to knock Hardy off the apron, but misses. Carlito hits a shinbreaker, and covers for two. Smith hit an enzuguri and Hardy gets the hot tag. Carlito stops him with a hard back elbow, but Hardy responds with A Whisper in the Wind. Kennedy goes after Smith in the corner, but misses and catches all ring post. Hardy hits a Twist of Fate and follows with a swanton bomb. Hardy covers Carlito to pick up the win.

Winner via pinfall: Jeff Hardy and D.H. Smith

Santino Marella comes out to waste our time. He wants to file a complaint against the WWE travel department. They caused him to miss Cyber Sunday, so he couldn't tell off Stone Cold Steve Austin. **CRASH** It's not Stone Cold, it's Santino playing Stone Cold on the Titantron. The fake SC says Santino was right about everything. Maria comes into the ring, and says he will be here next week. Santino wants to know who "he" is. Maria says it's Stone Cold. Santino thinks Maria has her facts wrong.

IT's time to find out what no talent hack will take TV time from the actual wrestlers. That's right; it's the conclusion of another Diva search. Eve wins. YAAAAAAAAAAWWWNNNNNNNN!

Another viral video for SaveUs_222. This one tells us to break the code.

Match #6 -- Triple H vs. Umaga and Randy Orton -- 2 on 1 handicap match

(Vegas has officially taken "Will HBK interfere in the match?" off the board. There's no money to be made. And the clock has just hit 11 o'clock; this isn't going to last long.)

Umaga waits for Triple H. Both men exchange punches, and Triple H beats the Samoan Bulldozer into the corner. Orton jumps in, but HHH takes him to the outside, and smashes Orton's face into the security barrier. Trips beats on Orton back in the ring, and then avoids a splash by Umaga that instead connects with Orton. Umaga and Orton recover and beat on Hunter in the corner. Orton stomp away, and then Umaga beats Triple H in the corner. Shawn Michaels hits the ring to get Orton, and then takes out Umaga. Triple H hits Umaga with a low blow, and could we be looking at another DX run? Orton and Umaga head back up the ramp as Triple H busts out the crotch chops.

Winner via DQ: Umaga and Randy Orton

Regal doesn't think things have turned out the way Vince wanted them to. Vince says things always work out the way he wants. In fact next week will be the one night only return of DX. The show ends with HHH and HBK in the ring.
