Impact: Women take the spotlight
By CHRIS SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

TNA continues to build towards Bound For Glory with another hype filled episode of Impact. Two tags and Fatal Five Way are on tap, as Orlando, FL becomes promotion central for TNA's "Wrestlemania." Plus Sting and Kurt Angle will add the latest chapter to their ongoing rivalry. All this and more on this edition of Impact.

Highlights were shown from the last edition of Impact. In the back, James Mitchell was with Judas Mesias. Mitchell told Mesias that they were going to take Sting to war on their terms and make him bleed. Mesias is such a great character. Mike Tenay and Don West then did their usual rundown leading into the first match.

Match One - Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) vs. Shark Boy and Sonjay Dutt

This one was pretty easy to predict. Team 3D put away the X Division duo with a 3D to Sharky. After the match, they grabbed chairs and were going to beat down Sharky some more, saying it was for Scott Steiner, but Dutt made the save.

Winners Via Pinfall - Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon)

In the back, Jeremy Borash was hyping the text service when VKM came in and ran down TNA and said they wanted bigger competition. Back from a commercial break, as JB was looking for Sting, however, he had yet to locate him.

Match Two - The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs. Jimmy Rave and Lance Hoyt w/ Christy Hemme

This was a good back and forth match, with the Guns getting the better of the new tag team, finishing them off with a double enseguri. After the match, Team 3D came out and beat on the Guns. They went to get a table as we went to commercial break. Back from commercial break, and Shark Boy was out to make the save, but instead was beaten up. They continued to beat the Guns down and then ripped the neck brace off Sharky, and hit a Conchairto to his throat.

Winners Via Pinfall - The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin

In the back, Jeremy Borash still could not locate Sting. TNA moves to two hours for the next edition of Impact. Also, Leticia was shown on the cover of Playboy magazine for the Girls Next Door issue.

Match Three - Fatal Five Way For The Number Ten Spot In The Gauntlet At Bound For Glory - Gail Kim w/ Chris Harris vs. Roxxie Laveaux w/ VKM vs. Christy Hemme w/ Lance Hoyt and Jimmy Rave vs. Ms. Brooks w/ Robert Roode vs. Jackie Moore w/ James Storm

This was a good main event. Great effort shown here. The outside factors all attempted to get involved somehow, but in the end, Roxxie Laveaux was able to hit Gail Kim with a Dominator for the big win. After the match, there was all sorts of mayhem as Roode yelled at Brooks and Harris checked on Kim. Just tons going on.

Winner Via Pinfall and Number Ten In The Gauntlet - Roxxie Laveaux

A package was shown highlighting the Christian Cage/Samoa Joe feud. Next up was a package on Judas Mesias. In the back, Jeremy Borash was with James Mitchell and Judas Mesias, when Sting appeared and a brawl ensued. Back from a commercial break, with Sting and Mesias still going at it. In the ring, Sting got the Scorpion Death Lock on Mesias when Kurt Angle came out and attacked Sting. Karen Angle yelled from the ramp as Mesias and Angle beat on Sting. Rhino tried to make the save, but was beat down as well, until Abyss came out and cleaned house. Abyss stood tall as the Impact Recap played to highligh this edition of Impact.
