Impact: Who took Angle's stuff?
By CHRIS SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

With Victory Road in the rear view mirror, TNA moves forward toward Hard Justice. With two thirds of the gold in Samoa Joe's camp and Kurt Angle on the defensive, Joe has vowed to make a statement on Impact regarding his quest in attaining all the titles in TNA. Also in the main event, Christian Cage and James Storm team up to do battle with Chris Harris and Rhino. Who came out on top? Read the report and find out.

Victory Road was recapped to kick off the show. Definitely one of TNA's better PPVs of 2007. Mike Tenay and Don West did their usual welcome and pitched it to the back, where Jeremy Borash found Kurt Angle tanning. Angle accused Borash of checking out his goods and told Borash that if Jim Cornette needed to find him, he knew where he was.

Match One - Six-Man Tag Team Match - Serotonin (Raven, Havoc and Martyr) vs. Triple X (Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper and Senshi)

Serotonin had the advantage early on, but once Senshi got involved, it all went downhill for them. Triple X dominated, as a leg drop from Elix Skipper, a BME from Christopher Daniels and a Warriors Way from Senshi, all landed on top of Havoc, allowing them to pin him with ease. Afterwards, Kaz came out and used a cane to take down Serotonin, before bailing out.

Winners Via Pinfall - Triple X (Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper and Senshi)

In the back, Jeremy Borash went to Kurt Angle and told him that if he didn't get back to Jim Cornette's office he would be fined $10,000. Angle went to leave, but realized all his titles and clothes were gone. Angle asked Borash if he was wearing his underwear, but Borash told him that he doesn't wear underwear as Angle stormed out. Leticia was with The Christian Coalition, when Christian Cage told her that he would have no problem pinning Chris Harris once again. James Storm came in to join in their parade. Also of note, Tomko was wearing his IWGP Tag Team title. Team 3D came out angry over what happened at the PPV. They called out the Steiners for the next edition of Impact and even terrorized Tenay and West until security came out to pull them away. Kurt Angle was shown in the back, walking around in his speedo looking for his stuff. He enters a lockeroom as TNA takes a commercial break. Back from the break, and Angle is having a lockeroom meeting. He still can't find his stuff. He approached Shark Boy and asked what he is smiling about. Angle then proceeded to beat him down and stormed off again.

Match Two - Kip James w/ BG James and Roxxi Laveaux vs. Lance Hoyt w/ Christy Hemme

BG James joined Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary for this one. Back and forth action, which led to Hoyt missing a Big Boot and getting hit with the Fameasser. After the match, Christy Hemme came in and got hit with a boot and Dominator from Laveaux who apparently is a descendant of Marie Laveaux. BG deemed Laveaux's Dominator, "The Bimbo Plant."

Winner Via Pinfall - Kip James

Leticia was in the back with Samoa Joe who said that he was going to issue the biggest challenge in TNA, later on in the program. Kurt Angle was then shown having a meeting with the production crew. He told them that he knows they don't have great salaries, but stealing is wrong. He turns his back and says he will count to ten and his stuff better be there when he turns back around. One of the crew members attempted to leave and was beaten down by Angle.

Match Three - Rhino and Chris Harris vs. Christian Cage and James Storm w/ Jackie Moore and Tomko

Harris jumped Cage from the get-go, beating him down with a barrage of body shots. Cage was able to turn the tables when Rhino came in. Back from a commercial break, and Cage was still on the offensive. Things came to an end, when Tomko pulled the ref out and allowed Dustin Rhodes to lay out Harris with a steel chair, giving Storm the opportunity to cover him and get the win. After the match, Rhino went to attack Storm and Cage, but with help from Jackie Moore and Tomko, they were able to topple him. Cage called for some beers, as he and Storm toasted their victory. They went to pour the beer on Rhino, when Abyss and Sting came out. Sting had his bat with him and stopped Cage from leaving. He then sent him into a Black Hole Slam, but Cage was able to slide out and get away, as Abyss chased him throughout the Impact Zone.

Winners Via Pinfall - Christian Cage and James Storm

Jeremy Borash was in the back with Kurt Angle and Jim Cornette, who said that Angle couldn't go into the Impact Zone, looking the way he did. He also mentioned that Angle better have his 10 grand by Monday, because he wanted it. Back from a commercial break, as Christian Cage is looking for AJ Styles and his car. Styles tells him that he has a truck they can get away in. Robert Roode came over and said that he would take care of Abyss for him. Cage tells Roode to find Tomko and take care of the situation, as Styles says he wants to ride with Cage. They debate over what they are going to listen to, as Cage tells Styles anything but country. Pretty good chemistry between them. They find Abyss in the truck and run away.

Back in the Impact Zone, Angle came out in a bathrobe and said that he still can't find his stuff, so the only logical explanation was that one of the fans in the Impact Zone took it to sell on Ebay. He then threatened the entire Impact Zone, as Samoa Joe came out. Joe had all of Angle's stuff. He told Angle that he wasn't a thief and that he didn't have his underwear, because he came wearing a speedo. He said that at Hard Justice it was going to be Joe vs. Angle for all the gold. He asked Angle if he was in, or if he was out. Angle shook on it and they hugged. Joe then raised Angle's hand and proceeded to headbutt him and beat him down. Joe brought a table out, as Angle came back and slammed him through it. Angle then locked in the Ankle Lock as the Impact Recap played and Impact came to an end.
