Impact: TNA title match the total show
By CHRIS SOKOL - SLAM! Wrestling

Victory Road is shaping up to be an incredible PPV for TNA. All the titles in TNA will be decided in one match. A concept that ECW made famous, TNA now hopes to enjoy the same success. With Samoa Joe already confirmed as part of the Main Event, Kurt Angle hopes to join him by retaining his title on this edition of Impact, as he faces off against Christian Cage and Rhino.

The show began with a recap of the last edition of Impact. Mike Tenay and Don West ran down the show and hyped Victory Road. A package was shown to hype the TNA Heavyweight Championship match between Kurt Angle, "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage and "The War Machine" Rhino. Mike Tenay talks about how the title match will be on first so if in the case that it does run long it will be shown in its entirety. Jeremy Borash came out and did the PPV style announcing for the title match. Samoa Joe came out to join Mike Tenay and Don West on commentary. He shook Rhino's hand, was blown off by Christian Cage and he slapped Kurt Angle, which led to a huge brawl that was broken up by the locker room. Samoa Joe was then thrown out of the Impact Zone.

Match One - No DQ TNA Heavyweight Championship Match - Kurt Angle (C) vs. "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage vs. "The War Machine" Rhino

Back from a commercial break and Kurt Angle is back in the ring and ready to get the match underway. This was an excellent match on every account with tons of near falls. Towards the middle of the match, Cage hit the Unprettier, but the pinfall attempt was broken up. A table was brought into the ring and set up in the corner. "The Monster" Abyss came out and began brawling with Cage. Back from a commercial break, and they were fighting in the backstage area. Rhino and Angle battled for a bit and Rhino eventually gored Angle through the table. Christian Cage came out from the back and went to take advantage of the situation, but was stopped by Chris Harris. Tomko and AJ Styles then came out to make the save for Cage. Abyss came back out and went to town on Tomko and Styles, busting Tomko open. Cage beat down Harris until Sting came out with a baseball bat to make the save. Sting took out Styles and Tomko with bat shots. After some more back and forth action, James Storm came out and poured beer on Rhino. He then spit beer in Rhino's face, causing him to fall backward into the Olympic Slam to give Kurt Angle the win.
