Raw: It's the Bobby Lashley show
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

Well, at least Khali isn't champion. Yet. But Vince McMahon still hates us. Why else would Khali get a push? And why would he put the ECW belt on himself? And why do ECW storyline show up on Monday night?

Will I be able to gather more evidence as Monday Night RAW comes to us from the Quad Cities?

Bobby Lashley comes to the ring and challenges Vince McMahon to a match for the ECW Title. Vince answers the call, with Umaga and Shane in tow. The chairman tells Bobby that he isn't afraid of him, but Vince denies his request for a match. Vince brags about going to One Night Stand -- see he does hate us, at least the hardcore ECW fans -- and taking on the Blue Meanie. Bobby wants to know why not him. Vince says he got his return match.

Shane grabs the mike, and says no one beats his dad in a street fights, and runs down the list of superstars to lose to Vince. Shane offers up a street fight versus his dad, which Lashley accepts. Vince makes a stipulation, tonight; Lashley has to run the gauntlet.

Match #1 -- Carlito vs. Ric Flair

Flair gets the upper hand early, chopping Carlito in the corner. A snap mare takes Carlito to the mat. Carlito reverses an Irish whip, and then puts the boots to Flair, focusing on the arm. Carlito locks on an arm submission. Flair breaks the hold with a foot on the rope. Carlito walks into a chop, and both men trade blows. Carlito misses the springboard elbow, and the Nature Boy hits a chop block. Flair works over the leg, but Carlito counters with a thumb to the eye. Carlito charges Flair and both men spill over the top rope to the floor. The ref starts the ten count, as Carlito cuts off Flair. The ref hits ten and calls for the bell.

Double Count Out

After the bell, Carlito attacks Flair; hitting the back cracker. Carlito then spits apple in the face of the Nature Boy.

Match #2 -- Candice Michelle vs. Melina -- Non-Title Match

I'll give Candice credit, at least she trying, now. Although, the bridge she used to win took like five minutes to apply and hold.

Winner via pinfall: Candice Michelle

WWE is still trying to convince us that The Condemned was a hit. I can say I'm dating Maria, but it doesn't make it true.

And now it's time to continue "You don't watch ECW on Tuesday nights, so we're going to make you watch it now."

Match #3 -- Lashley vs. Chris Masters

Lashley starts with a double leg take down and a near fall. Masters recovers and tosses Lashley into the ring post. Masters hits a clothesline and then locks in the Masterlock. Lashley gets to the ropes, and explodes off the ropes with a clothesline. Lashley hits a power slam, but only gets a two count. The former ECW champ runs into a reverse elbow, but gets speared coming out of the corner. Lashley covers and gets the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Lashley

Match #4 -- The Hardys vs. Nitro and Kenny Dykstra

Haas and Benjamin join JR and King on at the announce position. Kenny and Matt start off with Nitro getting a quick tag and dropping an elbow on Matt. Jeff tags in, nailing a mule kick. Jeff hits a sunset flip and gets the pin. Kenny Dykstra hits the ring to start trouble, and The World's Greatest Tag Team join in. Cade and Murdoch make the save and raise The Hardys' arms in victory.

Winner: The Hardys

The Great Khali comes to the ring with his translator. The gist of the promo is that John Cena screwed Khali. The video shows Khali with his foot under the ropes. The translator then points out the fact that Cena used the ring steps to knock the big man off his feet. Khali then uses the boy to call Cena a coward and he can beat Cena anywhere.

The Champ has heard enough and walks to the ring. Cena says he didn't come down to complain. Cena acknowledges that Khali's foot was under the rope, but he points out that Khali did tap. Cena admits he was afraid before Judgment Day, but he survived, and he got him. Cena says he wants a rematch, and Khali hits him with an overhead chop. A double handed choke slam finishes off the champ.

Match #5 -- Lashley vs. Viscera

Lashley works over the arm of Big Vis, but Vis counters with a short arm clothesline. Lashley leap frogs a charging Vis and then power slams him to the mat. Vis chops away at Lashley in the corner. Lashley responds with right hands, but then runs into a spinning heel kick. Lashley dodges a corner charge, and bounces off the ropes to spear Viscera and get the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Lashley

Torrie Wilson and the rest of the Divas come out for the premiere of Timbaland's video.

Randy Orton heads to the ring to address the crowd. He regrets that Shawn Michaels' wife had to deal with the ordeal at Judgment Day. Orton says he did what anyone would have done. He beat Shawn Michaels.

Match #6 -- Lashley vs. Umaga

Umaga beats on Lashley start to the match. Umaga then catches Lashley in a bear hug. Lashley elbows his way out of the hold. Umaga barely connects with a head butt as Lashley was rolling away. Umaga misses a corner splash, and Lashley knocks Umaga from the ring. Lashley leaps from the apron, but Umaga kicks him out of the air. Umaga tattoos Lashley with a chair, and the ref calls for the bell.

Winner via DQ: Lashley

During the commercial, Umaga laid out Lashley with the Samoan spike.

Match #7 -- Shane McMahon vs. Lashley

Shane puts the boots to the injured Lashley. He then stretches him around the ring post. Umaga grabs a chair, and Vince talks the monster down, grabbing the chair. The ref threatens to DQ Shane, and then tosses Umaga from ringside. Lashley gets a near fall via a roll-up. He follows with a spine buster. Shane counters a right hand with a DDT, but cannot get the pin. Shane locks in a Boston Crab. Shane then drops an elbow from the middle turnbuckle into Lashley's back. Shane locks in a chin lock. Lashley breaks the hold, but Shane gets the upper hand. Shane climbs the turnbuckle, but Lashley catches him with a spear in mid-air and gets the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Lashley
