The X Division makes TNA unique from what's offered up each week in WWE.

So what the hell is going on? Why is TNA taking the emphasis out of the division, pushing five-star matches to the middle of the card?

Current X Division champion Chris Sabin doesn't want to ruffle any feathers, but he says the division should get more respect.

"The X Division has been pushed aside," he said. "I'm happy to have my job. But they really should put more focus on the X Division ... that's what makes us distinct."

Don't get the idea that Sabin is a disgruntled employee, bitter at his place in TNA. Far from it. In fact, he's really just happy-go-lucky 25-year-old Josh Harter, who came up with the name Sabin based on a character from the game Final Fantasy III for Super Nintendo (he was also a big fan of Dragon Ball Z).

His character has gone from heel to face to heel in TNA.

"I prefer being a heel," he said. "People get to see my smart-ass side. I'm a nice dude in real life."

It's not like Sabin just stumbled into wrestling. It's been part of his grand plan for a long time.

"Wrestling was all I wanted to do," he said. "As a kid, my heroes were Hulk Hogan and Bret 'The Hitman' Hart. My room was decked out in wrestling stuff.

"I used the money from my graduation party and from working at Subway to go to wrestling school. I still took classes at a community college to keep my mother happy."

He's come a long way from his first match, a tag-team bout vs. the Colt Brothers.

As X Division champion, he's got a 2-out-of-3 falls bout against Jerry Lynn at next Sunday's Destination X pay-per-view. Looking ahead, he sees more potential match-ups.

"Me and Alex Shelley would make a great tag team," he said. "We've teamed in Zero1Max and on the indepedents. I'd also like to face Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt."
