Samoan Bulldozer is well equipped for Revolution
By TIM BAINES - Ottawa Sun

Can the Samoan Bulldozer stop The Marine?

Can D-Generation X put a stop to the thuggery of Rated-RKO?

And will Victoria add another name to her checklist?

All questions that will be answered at tonight's New Year's Revolution pay-per-view.

Other matches tonight: Ric Flair vs.Kenny Dykstra and Carlito vs. Chris Masters.

The seemingly invincible Umaga (real name, Edward Umar Fatu) has gotten a big push.

Wrestling is in the wild man's genes -- in real life, he's the brother of Rikishi and The Tonga Kid and cousin to The Rock and Yokozuna. Another cousin is Matt Anoa'i (Rosey) -- the two teamed as Three Minute Warning ... Umaga was Jamal in those days). His uncles are Soulman Rocky Johnson, Wild Samoans Afa and Sika and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka.

Umaga may get a title run, but it likely won't start tonight.

DX have a score to settle with their opponents, Edge and Randy Orton. So there'll likely be a bit of blood shed in their match.

As for Victoria ... it seems inevitable that Mickie James will get a title run ... again, it just may not start tonight.

- London will get a Smackdown/ECW TV event on May 29. And that should be good news for those in the Toronto area ... logic would dictate that the live RAW TV show will be at the Air Canada Centre the day before.

- For those who missed it ... and count me among those ... this year's Survivor Series is no longer in Montreal. Miami will host Survivor Series on Nov. 18.

- The Wrestling Observer suggests that Rob Conway could be heading to Smackdown!, perhaps to once again team with Sylvan as La Resistance. Too bad. I thought, when given new music and a new look as a singles competitor, Conway did pretty well.

- WWE has signed Nattie Neidhart, daughter of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart and granddaughter of Stu Hart.

- Rage Wrestling Entertainment has a card planned for the Carleton Place Arena on Jan. 13. The main event is a Triple Threat match with RWE champion Quinson Valentino vs. MVP vs. Drake Styles.
