Raw: The return of the Hardys
DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling
Survivor Series has come and gone; if you blinked, you may have missed it. RAW only had one singles match, and it was for the women's title, so don't expect much aftermath from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, tonight.
Ric Flair kicks off the show in the ring, telling the crowd he probably shouldn't even be here tonight. Flair says even though he was victorious last night, he still got beat up by a bunch of male cheerleaders. Flair calls out the Spirit Squad and tells them it ends tonight. Flair says he has partners, when the Squad hits the stage. They put together a cheer for Flair, encouraging him to retire. The Spirit Squad surround Flair, as DX makes the save. HBK bows to the legend, and Triple H grabs the mike. Hunters ask the crowd if they are ready, because he isn't. The Game is sick of beating the Spirit Squad and the crowd agrees. Hunter says this will be the last time we will see the Squad, as DX and Flair are attacked from behind.
Match # 1 -- The Spirit Squad vs. DX and Ric Flair
HBK nails Mikey with the mike, and tags in Hunter. The Game hits a clothesline, and then stomps on Mikey in the corner. Flair tags in, and hits a series and chops. as DX also applies the hold to Kenny and Johnny. All three Spirit Squad members tap out at the same time.

After the break, Hunter and HBK are stuffing the Spirit Squad into a crate. They slap an OVW sticker on it, as the deliveryman shows up to take it. HBK tells the guy that it to absolutely be there by ... Christmas. HBK then signs the order Mr. McMahon.
Johnny Nitro and Melina accept the Hardy's open challenge, by welcoming back Joey Mercury.

I'll spare you the details here. Victoria overcame Torrie, Maria, Melina, and Candace Michelle to get a shot at the Women's Title. On the plus side, Victoria may have broken Candace's nose.
Match #3 -- Eugene vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Eugene doesn't look so sure about this match. Duggan yells at Eugene, as he tries to hide behind the ref. Eugene offers a handshake, but slaps him. Duggan hits a hip toss. Eugene slides away from a charge, but Duggan tries to pull Eugene back in. Eugene hangs Duggan on the ropes, and finishes him off with a swing neck breaker. Eugene gets on the mike and tells the crowd he's special.

Arn Anderson and Dusty Rhodes run into DX and thank them for what they did for Flair. HBK then spells out his plans for a party for Flair, chips and dip, soda, and a karaoke machine. HBK runs off, and Triple H says he has two words: Booze and Broads. Damn is all Ron Simmons can say.
Edge is back with the Cutting Edge. The Rated R superstar tries to introduce his guest, but no one comes out. Randy Orton gets Edge's attention, telling him he may have found his guest. Edge walks over to Orton, and both men pull a bloody Ric Flair from behind the curtain. Edge and Orton call out DX, who have left the building. Edge then hits Flair with the one-man con-chair-to. Orton follows suit, and both men scream for DX to come out.
Match #4 -- Chris Masters vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler
Chris Masters has the Masterlock on, when Carlito heads to the ring. Masters lets Lawler go, and
has words with Carlito from the ring. Carlito spits apple in Masters' face, as Lawler rolls up the Masterpiece. Lawler gets the pin.
Winner via pinfall: Jerry "The King" Lawler
Umaga and Armando Alejandro Estrada head to the ring. Estrada says Umaga was unstoppable at Survivor Series, and now he has his sights set on the WWE title. John Cena walks to the ring, and doesn't say a word except, "I accept." Umaga wants to go now, but Estrada calls him off.
The WWE tries to capitalize on the Michael Richards controversy by having Cryme Tyme beat up a
comedian the responds to hecklers by using racial slurs. Shad shuts him up with a big boot to the face.
Rated RKO and the Hardy Boyz talk backstage.
