Impact: Jarrett scores a smash hit
By CHRIS SOKOL -- SLAM! Wrestling

Jeff Jarrett beating up fans, Samoa Joe is whipping Larry Zbyszko, Christian Cage and Rhino are splitting up their friendship, could their be any more chaos in TNA? Of course! That's what brings us to the latest edition of Impact, where the Jarrett/Joe epic continues and "The Man Beast" attempts to dethrone "The Alpha Male," but not if "Captain Charisma" has anything to do with it.

The show began with a recap of the last edition. Jarrett beating on "fans" is priceless.

This was followed by dueling promos from Rhino and Monty Brown. Christian Cage cut in on Brown's promo and told him that they needed to talk. Troubles brewing for Rhino.

Jeff Jarrett came out and began running down the situation he was in, and how he didn't want the fans to whip him, etc. Samoa Joe came out and began whipping Jarrett, sending him from corner to corner. They brawled on the outside, but as Joe turned his back, Jarrett grabbed a guitar and planted it on the head of Joe, busting him open and putting Jarrett on top as the fans showed their disappointment.

An LAX/AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels music video followed. What a great feud. TNA needs to take a trip down to Texas or Mexico with this feud as that would be a potential hotbed for this faction. Regardless they are probably the hottest faction TNA has ever assembled.

Match One - Jay Lethal vs. Petey Williams

Good X match. Unsure why they want Lethal, Chris Sabin and Sonjay Dutt to do the whole "Jackass" gimmick, but whatever. Lethal uses a bowling ball to the netherregions of Williams to secure this victory. Lethal gets the win, thanks to some distractions from Sabin and Dutt and a bowling ball to the crotch. Unique.

Winner Via Pinfall - Jay Lethal

Jim Cornette came out to join Mike Tenay and Don West for commentary. Some more "Why I Hate Jeff Jarrett" videos aired. Some funny stuff, but not that good kind of funny. That pitiful, ugh, funny.

Jeremy Borash caught up with Senshi who didn't like the way the X Division was going with all the stunts that Dutt, Sabin and Lethal were pulling. Sabin and Dutt walked in and began making fun of Senshi before walking off. Senshi and Sabin should be good.

Match Two - "Showtime" Eric Young vs. Norman Smiley

From WCW jobber to TNA jobber, Smiley does the trick, putting Young over decisively and keeping the gimmick alive.

Winner Via Pinfall - "Showtime" Eric Young

In the back, Jeremy Borash spoke with "The Franchise" Shane Douglas who said that the experiment with The Naturals was over if they didn't step their game up. Eric Young cut in and gave Borash a tape for them to watch.

After a commercial break, Young's footage came on. It was a Paparazzi Production, where Eric Young was shown roaming LA looking for Sting.

Match Three - FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH - "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown vs. "The War Machine" Rhino

An all out brawl, up and down. What you have come to expect from Brown and Rhino. Just pounding away at each other without a care at all. Cage got involved and things turned sour. Cage helped Brown beat down Rhino and leave him laying. The match was then thrown out and ruled a no contest. How's that? There was No Disqualification. Ugh.

Winner - NO CONTEST

The Bobby Roode sweepstakes came up next and this go around it was Sherri Martel. Apparently she wasn't as tipsy as she was at the Hall of Fame and was able to make Roode a considerable offer, but nothing was set between them.

Jeremy Borash was in Samoa Joe's lockeroom, where Joe was shown still banged up and bloody from his assault. Joe promised to take out his anger on Jarrett. Phenomenal promo.

Borash tried to catch up with Christian Cage, but he got in a car and sped off.

An LAX promo was up next which led into their celebrating. The ring was filled with all sorts of different decorations. LAX went off on their impending match with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels. Styles and Daniels eventually heard enough and took to the ring, brawling with their adversaries and sending us to the wrap up video on a high note.
