Disapointment reigns over WWE DVDs

Another series of pay-per-view DVDs, another round of disappointments.
Unfortunately, it's becoming more routine that WWE doesn’t put much effort into the home video market for its major shows. The group of four of the latest releases, as you will see in a couple moments, was light on content and heavy on disappointment.
It seems that with Heat and Velocity gone from network television, the Fed saw no reason to include those bouts on DVDs, which had been tradition before the move to USA. Any other pre-PPV segments have also been cut.
One would think that with this extra 10-15 minutes of space, WWE would include more goodies, say like a historic match; that's not the case, unfortunately.
Let's take a look now at what has been included, and hopefully you'll stand in agreement with me that there should be a lot more on these DVDs.
Survivor Series
Maria Interviews Vince McMahon/Survivor Series history video
Teddy Long is congratulated on his win
Kurt Angle and Daivari in the wwe.com Instant Access Room
Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - A little light on the extras here and very little substance. The retro video should have been separate from the McMahon/Maria segment.
New Year's Revolution
Mickie James approaches Trish Stratus leaving the arena
Kurt Angle and Daivari react to the finish of the Elimination Chamber match
Carlito reacts to the finish of the Elimination Chamber match
Todd Grisham interviews Edge and Lita
Rating: 1.5 out of 5 stars - I'm a sucker for the post Elminiation Chamber commentaries, but Mae Young kissing Mickie? That goes on my top 10 most disturbing moments list.
Royal Rumble
Kurt Angle and Mark Henry story
Rob Van Dam and Tatanka smoke a peace pipe
Past winners of the Royal Rumble
Rating: .5 out of 5 - I liked the Rumble flashback, but honestly, I'd have much rather had the full Smackdown battle royal for the championship here, and the Tatanka/RVD segment was getting somewhat offensive.
No Way Out
Josh Matthews interviews Kurt Angle
Mark Henry approaches Batista
Booker T and Sharmell talk about their loss
Rating: 1 out of 5 - Nothing special here. Again, pretty light on extras for a subpar card.
