Update: HOF Night in Canada

It looks like Canada will be able to watch Bret Hart's induction into the WWE Hall of Fame afterall.

In an e-mail to SLAM! Wrestling, TSN announced that the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will indeed be broadcast on the popular sports network.

The TSN broadcast will be shown on Monday, April 3 at 8pm EST, two days after the ceremony takes place in Chicago, IL.

As noted by TSN Communications Office Matthew Garrow, the reason for the delay was simply due to a scheduling conflict. "We have a F1 race on April 1st @ 23:00 - 01:00 which conflicts with the live airing of the induction ceremonies," Garrow told SLAM!.

The broadcast announced by TSN comes on the heels of an announcement by the USA Network that they will air the ceremony live. Last year, SpikeTV aired a portion of the ceremony live. It is not known at this time whether the entire ceremony, or a portion thereof, will be shown.

Announced for the Class of 2006 are Bret Hart, Eddie Guerrero and "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Others expected to be inducted include Tony Atlas (introduced by S.D. Jones), the Road Warriors (since the event is in Chicago) and the Blackjacks (Bob Windham/Blackjack Mulligan & Blackjack Jack Lanza).
