Fans remember Eddie Guerrero - Page 7
Eddie you were the best. R.I.P.
I just can't believe he's gone. I'm still crying because Eddie was my favorite playa, he meant everything to me. When I used to be sad I used to get his picture and cry with it and think about EDDIE, not the other people. EDDIE's face is painted on my wall. I've got all his pictures stuck on my wall. My friends think I'm crazy but I don't think so. Well guess what, I'm stuk here with a broken heart and tears running through my eyes right now, but I'm trying to keep them inside, I'm trying to let them out, I'm keeping them in my heart just for you to come and pick them up and see how much I still love you. I'm not going to remove Eddie's face of my wall, I'm goin to keep it there till I die. Eddie meant the world to me, now I can't stand here on my own. I need a friend like Eddie to not leave me alone. I love you eddie and I know you're reading this behind me [:(] goodbye
Gabby, age 16
Canada loved Eddie Guerrero. He is in our hearts and prayers and the memories will last a lifetime. See you later amigo
I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the Guerrero family. I will never forget the scene at Wrestlemania XX with Chris Benoit, or at No Way Out when he captured gold. Eddie has provided some of my greatest recollections of the wwe industry, and there will never again be someone quite like Eddie. Eddie will be sorely missed. Hail Eddie Guerrero.
I will sadly miss Eddie Guerrero. He was my favourite wrestler and I will miss him a lot. My thoughts go with his family and friends R.I.P. Eddie! Love You!
THANKS FOR ALL THE LOVE FROM EVERYONE ON HERE. EDDIE WAS MY UNCLE AND HE WILL BE REMEMBERED AS A LEGEND IN OUR FAMILY OF WRESTLERS. HE LIVED TO WRESTLE AND TO ENTERTAIN HIS FANS. RIP TIO EDDIE
I still can't believe it that Eddie is gone! I've just begun to watch wrestling, and I'm probably the only girl in the school that does, and I knew that Eddie would be somthing big. He made my family and I laugh, like when he was chasing the girl from MNM around, and at the end of his match, he would show his inner strenth. I remember watching him qualify for the Survivor Series and now I wonder... Where's my papi? Wherever you are Eddie, I'm with you.
Eddie is a god and now joins them. He is an inspiration for his problems and the way he just got on with it.
Sorry to hear about the death of EDDIE GUERRERO. He was a great wrestler and we all will miss him. So sorry for his family.
Eddie Guerrero was a great man. Whenever his opponents took him down he just got back up and just kept trying. Eddie Guerrero was known as a man with true power a source of power that he can't stop using, a type of power that can stop anyone getting in his way. This man was not any type of man he wasn't a fake, he was a real man. So what if he lied, cheated and stole, that was his phrase and I give all my respect to this man. EDDIE WILL I ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU.
I am very sorry that we have lost Eddie Guerrero. I was watching him wrestling on Thursday Night Smackdown, and on Sunday I was very very sad to hear that he has left us. My parents, my cousins, my brothers, have watched him wrestle at least once, if not more. We loved watching him wrestling, we enjoyed every second, minute, whatever long it took him we watched. My family and I are very sorry, and give our regards to Eddie's whole family. Again, I am very sorry, I loved Eddie Guerrero, and I will never stop loving Eddie.
HEY I KNOW YOU ARE LOOKING DOWN AT US RIGHT NOW! I WANT TO SAY THAT YOU WERE AN INSPIRATION TO ALL OF US ESPECIALLY ALL THE LATINOS HERE IN THE USA TRYING TO REACH FOR THE AMERICAN DREAM! YOU NOT ONLY WERE A GREAT WRESTLER BUT YOU MADE ME PROUD OF BEING LATINO, HISPANIC, MEXICAN OR WHATEVER THEY CALL IT THESE DAYS! YOU STAYED TO YOUR ROOTS AND MADE US ALL PROUD OF YOU! REST IN PEACE ! y QUE VIVA LA RAZA FOREVER!!
Eddie, whether you loved him or hated him was an excellent performer. We remember when he came to WWE with Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko and formed the Radicalz. We remember watching a lot of his matches when he was with WCW and enjoying his incredible in ring abilities. Even after my husband lost his sight, he still enjoyed his antics and memorable matches through the eyes of me, his wife, and through the commentators. We were shocked to find out of his passing and he will be greatly missed. Our condolences go out to his family and friends he left behind. R.I.P and Viva La Raza Eddie.
Melissa, Jason and Rhiannon King
It brings me to tears just knowing that someone as great as Eddie could pass just like that. I've been watching Eddie wrestle for years and he will really be missed and my thought go out to his family.
I'm so very sorry to Eddie's family. I just heard the news on Eddie. He will be greatly missed. He was a truly fantastic wrestler and his memory will carry on for a lifetime. He will be greatly and deeply missed. I enjoyed Eddie so very much; his charisma, his wrestling techniques, his style, etc... God bless you Eddie and also to his wife and children, he will be in my prayers as well as his family. I don't believe in goodbye -- I'll see you later, Eddie one sweet day...viva la raza. I still cannot believe he is gone. I am in shock but his memory will always carrry on and live with me for the rest of my life. My deepest sympathy to Eddie's family. God bless you all ....Eddie ...R.I.P. esay love u always
a truly great fan tyan coppola
Eddie Guerrero was truly one of a kind. There cannot be a wrestling fan around the world at this time who does not feel as though they have lost someone close to their heart at this time. I was shocked and devestaed to hear of his untimely death yesterday.
When I think of Eddie now I think back to his WWE Championship win at No Way Out 2004 over Brock Lesner, his amazing series of matches he has had with Rey Mysterio this year, his in ring celebration with Chris Benoit at the end of WrestleMania XX, which at the time felt like such a special moment, now seems even more so.
Eddie was a great all round entertainer. As an athlete he was up there with the best and on the mic he was magnificent as either a heel or the cheeky, lying, cheating, stealing guy you loved to love.
Thank you Eddie for the wonderful memories you have given all of us wrestling fans. You will be missed more than you could possible know.
Stuart Wilson, Edinburgh, Scotland
I'm sitting here in Minneapolis where everything happened, watching Monday Night Raw and the tribute show to Eddie Guerrero I find myself smiling and laughing at all the old Los Guerrero's vignettes and the program Eddie had with Kurt Angle.
There is no doubt that Eddie was a great technical wrestler and an amazing athlete, but he also knew how to entertain. Eddie was probably one of the funniest performers in all of pro wrestling.
I have been a wrestling fan all of my life, and I can remember in detail when Eddie won the WWE Championship over Brock Lesnar. It was THE most exciting finish that I have ever witnessed. I remember totally marking out for his win because Eddie deserved it more than anyone ever has. His celebration was real and the crowd reaction was off the chart. The only thing better than seeing him jump into the crowd after his win was when he celebrated with Chris Benoit in the middle of the ring at Wrestlemania XX. It hurts a lot to listen to Benoit talk about Eddie.
Thank you Eddie for entertaining me for all these years, we will miss you but we will never forget you.
VIVA LA RAZA ESSE!
With deepest sympathy to the Guerrero family, and to all of Eddie's friends.
Darryl Saban, Edmonton, AB
The first time I ever saw Eddie Guerrero live was during the storyline he had with Chyna. He was one of the brackets going into King Of The Ring that year and they had just come off the "going to the prom" bit which had me in stitches. I was amazed at his agility and wrestling skills. I was also impressed at his comedic abilities as well, from again his storyline with Chyna, to the Viva La Raza Segments with Chavo - he and Chavo on the golf course was a classic, to his playing dead in the ring or blaming the weapon shot on his opponent. It is a sad day in the wrestling world as one of the greats have fallen. We will truly miss him.
Eddie Gory Guerrero was not just one of my favorite wrestlers, but a role model. Being from El Paso, I would get chills down my back when his name was introduced before matches. Mr. Guerrero gave us young Mexican-Americans hope of realizing our dreams. He will forever be in our hearts here in El Paso, Texas. We need more Heros like you "Latino Heat".
Viva La Bowie!
This is poem, In rememberance of Eddie Guerrero:
Eddie, you did your time, having fun trying to makes us shine, with your moves, and style. You leap like a frog and landed like a log, but with style. Now you took your last leap to your desire, when awaken you'll be in God's perferct ring with a smile.
Rest in Peace Mr.Eddie Guerrero. My heart goes to you and your family.
Always a fan, steven silva
All I can say is that Eddie Guerrero will be missed. I loved him ever since the first time I saw him wrestle I knew back there and then that he was or that he still is one of my favorite wrestlers. I was kind of starting to hate Eddie because of what he was doing to Rey Mysterio but he was still my favorite because the maneuvers he did and because no matter what every time I saw wrestling and Eddie came out I always laughed because he would always do something funny on his matches when he used to cheat and i will never forget. I am crying right now as I write this because wrestling will never be the same. There is no one out there that could replace Eddie Guerrero and it hurts knowing that you won't have the chance to ever see him again perform like he used to do and make people smile or angry. My best regards go to his family I am really sorry for your loss. All I can say to that is that he is in a better place.
Que en Paz Descanzes Eddie Guerrero siempre Te Extrañaremos tus tus fanes y Tu Familia.....
(Rest in Peace Eddie Guerrero you will always be missed by yor fans and family)
HI, MY NAME IS GE'RAE ESCOE FROM GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA. I AM 14 YEARS OLD AND ATTENDS MAULDIN HIGH SCHOOL. I WOULD JUST LIKE TO GIVE MY CONDOLENCES TO EDDIE'S FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I WATCHED WRESTLING EVERY WEEK AND ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO SEEING WHAT NEW THINGS EDDIE HAD TO SHOW OFF ND WHAT OTHER WONDERFUL THINGS HE WOULD DO. HE WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE WRESTLERS. HE WAS MY HEART AND HE WILL BE MISSED VERY MUCH BY MANY FANS. R.I.P. EDDIE GUERRERO.
Eddie Gurrero was a big inspiration for all the people out there who are thinking of being a wrestler. He was kind, inspirational, and never denied to fight anyone. I loved his motto -- We lie cheat and steal. It was great, especially his Cadilac. I just thought I'd share these ideas.
Hey man, thank you for letting us put our comments on the Eddie Guerrero page. It really means a lot to all the hispanic crowd and to the rest of the people who followed and loved Eddie. Thank you.
WE WOULD LIKE TO SEND OUR SYMPATHY TO THE GUERRERO FAMILY. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU AT YOUR TIME OF NEED. WE LOVE LATINO HEAT AND ALSO LOVE WATCHING EDDIE DO THE FROG SPLASH AND HOW HE WOULD PRETEND TO BE HURT KNOCK OUT THEN WOULD WIN THE MATCH HE WAS IN THAT NIGHT. HE WILL SURELY BE MISSED BY ALL OF HIS FANS ESPECIALLY BY US. NOW YOU ARE IN THAT WRESTLING RING IN THE SKY ABOVE US LOOKING DOWN UPON YOUR FRIENDS AND FANS. GOD BLESS YOU EDDIE GUERRERO.

In Loving Memory of Eddie Guerrero. We love you Eddie. You will be greatly missed. You were such an awesome guy and a great wrestler. Can't believe you are gone. We won't forget you. Here is what I made especially for you Eddie, your family and friends and fans. Rest in peace Eddie. Sincere sympathy goes out to you Vicki and family.

Eddie Guerrero was just beginning to go back to his latino heat style. We will always miss and remember Eddie Guerrero and Rey Misterio's friendhsip. Rest in Peace Eddie Guerrero!!
Eddie Guerrero was the first wrestler that I had ever heard of. It was because of him that I started watching wrestling. He was a hero to not only me but to my younger brothers. Eddie Guerrero will always stay alive to me and not just for now but forever.

When we received the call from our nephew yesterday about Eddie's passing we were in shock. It sadened us tremendously and to see my 43 old husband cry made me realize how much of an impact Eddie had on us. We are just ordinary people, ordinary fans with a big heart. I remember over 20 years when I first saw Eddie Guerrero wrestle, he was indeed one of my favorite wrestlers, so charismatic and passionate about what he did, wrestling will never be the same without him. Our grandparents, parents, our nephews, my husband and I have been wrestling fans since we were kids remembering the entire Guerrero family and having seen them perform live in Mexico and seeing Eddie here in the California many times Some people think wrestling to be silly since it's considered entertainment and not a sport but, when you watch it year after year every week it becomes part of your routine, and we are all quick to defend these exemplary hard working athletes. I always say "Remember that behind that so called 'fakeness' is a real person just like you and I." Eddie Guerrero was born and raised in (El Paso) Texas, where my late Mother was born (I lost her 12-17-04), my grandparents (both sides) were also from there, and where my husband Chito was born and his family is from. Tejanos are unique but El Paso is like no other city in Texas where family is so much a priority. I see many commonalities in a family and cultural way and it really hits home. I'm also 38 years old, coincidentally I am one day older than he was. When somemone that is your same age passes so many things cross your mind and make you wonder. To the family of Eddie Guerrero especially his daughters who right now may not comprehend why their Daddy was taken away I say this... We always have to learn something from our experiences so that it is never in vain, fortunately Eddie was able to fight off the bad and come to peace with his faith in God, himself and his loved ones in the years passed, it's not what he did so much as a wrestler but the superstar he became as a person showing you by example that he was able to fight off the bad and come to peace with his faith in God, himself and his loved ones in the years passed. Clearly as I see it now that was God's plan! Shaul, Sherilyn, and Kaylie, you are his legacy and allow your Daddy to live on through you as you grow. Heaven is where the heart is so this should not be good-bye but see you soon where you will all meet again one day. "That" day has come for Eddie...and I know he is standing in 'HIS' presence, singing Hallelujah and dancing for Jesus!!!
What can i say...? Eddie was my favorite wrestler and was definitely the funnest part about watching wrestling every Friday night, with his devilish grin, and his little dance he would do, to let us know hes okay and to let us know he is going to do something crazy. I loved his cars and I remember how he would make me smile when he would talk like a Mexican!!! I loved the saying he had on his t-shirt saying "Im Your Papi" he wore everytime he wrestled, and that saying will always be in my head forever! I know that Eddie had his times of being a "snake" but I still loved him!! I remember watching his last performance, on Friday night and when I saw him get hit with that chair in the forehead my jaw dropped. I was so shocked I was almost in tears. I was praying for him to get up, I so badly wanted him to be ok!! When I heard the news of him passing away I was in tears, my heart and jaw dropped and I had no clue what to say. But the saddest part is wretling on Friday nights will never be the same. It isn't going to be as much fun watching it without Eddie there to make everyone laugh and smile!!! I don't think I will be able to watch wrestling, because it will never be the same! Eddie was a great inspiration, he has taught me that you can overcome obstacles thrown in life's path, just by him speaking about his own obstacles (like when he fought against alcoholism and drugs) and how he overcame them, that truly gave me strength knowing that if he could overcome his obstacles so could I! But I wanted to say I'm sorry to his friends and family for the loss, I never met him, but somehow it felt like I have known him for years. I know it is hard on me knowing he is gone, so I can imagine what his close friends and family are going through right now. But I know in my heart that he is in a better place now!! I will miss you Eddie!!! I want to thank him, for bringing exitement to the TV every friday night, and all his energy really gave me stregnth!! I love you Eddie and I will greatly miss you!!!!! Your biggest fan!

Y que descanse en paz Eddie Guerrero.
Eddie you will be missed you were practically the best superstar on Smackdown besides your best friend Batista. We will always remember the legacy of Eddie Guerrero.
sincerely, Marcos jeantette
I had mixed feelings about Eddie's character but as I athlete he was amazing. He really did climb to the top as one of the greatest entertainers of all time. He will always be remember in memories and in history books as one of the greats. Latino heat live forever.
Yours truly, Troy Cahoon
I have not yet scene a performance like Mr.Eddie Guerrero. There were many battles and demons outside and inside the squared circle but Mr.Guerrero flew right by them. He will be missed, along with other great wrestlers of our time. We will all miss you MR. EDDIE GUERRERO. Andy & The Humphreys Family
Just want to say to the wife and young ladies of Eddie G that life goes on. Just remember Eddie was good, doing the work for our father up above. But always remember to keep your eyes on Jesus; that's what Eddie did. He believed in God and that's why he touched so many people hearts. Believe in God. Thank you.
EDDIE WAS A NICE MAN THAT GREW ON ME. I HAVE BEEN A FAN FOR MANY YEARS. SOME TIMES YOU LIKE HIM SOMETIMES YOU DON'T. NEVERTHELESS HE WAS AN INSPIRATION AND A JOY TO LOOK AT. HE WAS AN ENTERTAINER AND HE LOVE DOING IT. WHEN I HEARD ABOUT HIS DEATH I WAS DUMBFOUNDED. I WATCH HIM RECEIVE A CHAIR SHOT THE FRIDAY NIGHT PRIOR AND I SCREAMED BECAUSE IT WAS SO HORRIBLE. BUT HE GOT RIGHT BACK UP. I LOVE EDDIE AND I KNOW THAT THE WWE WILL NOT BE THE SAME WITH OUT HIM. MAY GOD BLESS HIS SOUL AND HIS FAMILY. I WILL MISS YOU.
VIVA LA RASA
I don't know how to start my writing. I felt really bad for what happened to Eddie Guerrero. I was a biggest fan of Eddie Guerrero from my whole life time. I just want to say may his soul rest in peace Thanks!
Since the first time that I saw the WWE my favorite wrestler had been Eddie. Probably because he represented the Hispanic community, not just the fact that he was Hispanic but he really knows how to entertain a crowd. Whenever I would see him wrestling he would remind me how proud I am to be Hispanic. Although Eddie has past away his name will always be in the fans heart and his career is one of a legends. As a real big fan of Eddie he will always be my favorite Wrestler. Eddie we will all miss you. Que dios te bendiga nuestro amigo Eddie Guerrero.
All I can say is, oh my God, I can't believe he is gone. I'm very sorry for his wife and his three daughters for their loss. Eddie was a great Wrestler and a great man. I will never forget Eddie. Eddie has been through a lot. Eddie is one of my favourite wrestlers. I'm very sorry again.
My condolences, Alycia Earl
Eddie was a good man and he will be missed. It was too soon for him to be taken from this world and I know that he will be missed by me and thousands of people. He was a great wrestler and I know that it must be a huge shock for his wrestling partners. Eddie you are a good man and you will be missed. Also I want to add my deepest sympathy to his wife and children who are too young to understand the loss of their father.
EDDIE Rest In Peace, and Always Loved and will always be loved
Eddie, you are loved and will be missed by many people. You were a phenomenal wrestler and the most influential wrestler of our time. You were also one of my most favorite wrestlers in the business today. My condolences go out to you and your family. I love you Eddie and will deeply miss you.
Your biggest fan: Richie Abbott
I don't even know where to start. I'm beyond shocked. I couldn't believe it when I came on the computer Sunday afternoon and read that Latino Heat passed away. He was definately one of my all time fav wrestlers and will always be. Luckily, I've been able to see Eddie live a few times and he gave me great memories that will never be forgotten. Even though I didn't know him personally, it felt like in a way I did cause I saw him every week, year after year. He was a class act and his legacy will live on forever. It's a sad sad day in the world of wrestling. He didn't deserve to go so soon. RIP Eddie. Thanks for the memories. VIVA LA RAZA!

When I found out that Eddie passed away I was in shock. He was in great condition and was doing really well in the ring. Eddie was one of the best wrestlers. He had everything, speed, power, high flyer, and submission. He made people laugh and cheer. I remember seeing Eddie on ECW, WCW and WWE. I can't imagine what wrestling will be without him there but I know for sure the whole industry will be affected by this in more ways than one. Not just wrestlers but the fans and family's all over the world. I can remember him being a good guy and a bad guy through out his career but I knew he was a great wrestler and most of all, a great person no matter what. I thank you Eddie for all the memories and may you be in peace. My prayers for you and your family. Thank you.
Eddie was a great wrestler and will be missed, but latino heat will always be around. I will miss the bad lowrider cars he always came out in. To me his cars represented him smooth and classy. So when I watch wrestling there will always in my heart be a latino heat!!!! wherever you are Eddie rest in peace. You were great
Eddie and Family: Watching Eddie and WWE is an extended family event... My 20 yr old nephew, Robert and I watch together, and tape it so I can watch it with his brothers, Alex 7, and David 5. Eddie is top of the list for us all, and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts will be with the family, and always with Eddie. Learn all you can there, Eddie, and we will see you on the other side...
love, Dodie Parker and Robert, Alex and David Winfree
Hey Eddie was an awesome and talented athlete. He was the best there ever was. He took out Brock Lesnar and won the title. That's what I'm talking about, yeaaaaaaa! Go eddie! But the thing is I'm sad that he died, but I hope he had a good life. Eddie, God bless you and thank you for making WWE the best ever. Eddie, see ya amigo.
I was so sad when I woke up in the morning and found out Eddie had died. He was one of my favorite wrestlers and he was always so happy. And also he was one of the most craziest Mexicans out there. So eddie I will always have you in my heart. "I lie, I cheat, I steal."
I can't believe he's gone......He was one of the main reasons I watched WWE Smackdown... An episode on UPN at 8:00 aired on Friday, November 11, 2005. Eddie was in a match against Mr. Kennedy to determine who would join the other four WWE Smackdown stars in a Survivors Match against five WWE Raw stars. Guerrero knocked Kennedy into the ref, knocking the both down. He jumped out of the ring, grabbed a metal chair, and jumped back into the ring. The ref and Kennedy were getting up so Eddie slammed the chair on the ground. As Kennedy and the ref turned around, Eddie tossed the chair to Kennedy and fell to the ground, acting as if Kennedy had hit him. Kennedy was disqualified and Eddie was welcomed to the team. Once again, Eddie lied, cheated, and stole. Goodbye for now, for ever, for always. You will always be in our hearts. We miss you Eddie......
Kaitlyn, Louise, and Brandon
I was a big fan of Eddie. I miss him. James Klinger, Canada
EDDIE, IT'S REALLY HARD TO BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE NOT HERE ANYMORE, BUT MY HEART GOES OUT TO EVERY SINGLE MEMEBER OF YOUR FAMILY AFFECTED BY YOUR DEATH. WE WRESTLING FANS ACCROSS THE GLOBE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU FOR ALL YOUR GOOD PERFORMANCES. WE ARE ALL GREIVING FOR YOUR SUDDEN DEPARTURE AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU, "AND MAY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST GIVE YOU PEACE AMEN"
PAT, ONTARIO, CANADA
I was a fan and it was washed away by his death. I was going to get tickets to that match but I wanted Eddie, not Batista. I was getting Eddie's figure soon. Still I am sad.
I don't believe it. I don't want to. Maybe it's a bad dream. Maybe I'll wake up and see Eddie won the World Heavyweight Championship and if he pops up and says "I'm ok esse!" I wont even be mad. But I know its true but its hard to accept. I haven't watched much wrestling in a while, if at all these days, but one bright spot was Eddie. Why? Here's a guy you could sit your kids in front of and be proud that you won't see hand up the butt jokes or crap like that. That promo he cut with Rey's mask haunts me along with Raven's "I'm a human cancer" from this year in TNA. Eddie wrestled and did it well but he was a man that you could admire cause he beat his demons. He beat adversity just like we all have faced and conquered sometime in our lives. It breaks my heart knowing that your demons can catch up wit in your life and it takes a toll even if you are clean. Just know life isn't fair and it's a bitch. I could say I'm done watching wrestling and it's not worth it but Eddie gave me a love for wrestling that outlasts the McMahons and Mushnicks of the world. Just know this man had a family and if you have a soul keep them and Eddie in your prayers. Thanx Eddie for making people believe in themselves and bringing pride back to Mexicans and people in general. More importantly thanx for showing me what's important. I say this with pride for you ... one last time...Viva la Raza. R.I.P. EDDIE GUERRERO 1967-2005
I'm heart-broken about the news of the late Eddie Guerrero! It was 6.05pm when my homeboy told me. I automatically thought he'd got it wrong. So I logged on WWE.COM and it was true. I;m deeply saddened and I send out my condolences to his la famille espeacially mama Guerrero!
I was fortunate enough to watch Eddie Guerrero perform live twice ? both times in Regina. Despite stacked cards on each night, Eddie was one of the (if not the) highlights of both shows.
The first time I saw Eddie perform, he was teamed with Chavo in a match against the newly formed Team Angle (Benjamin Shelton and Charlie Haas). The match was a typical Eddie performance ? technical ability, deadly psychology, and funny as heck. The main event had nothing on this match, and that was testimony to Eddie's abilities to perform. Eddie just knew what the audience wanted without knowing any of us.
The second time I saw Guerrero was during the build up to his big match vs. Brock Leysner. This match was the main event, which seemed only fitting after what Eddie gave us. Eddie carried Brock through this battle, displaying an intensity unmatched by any other wrestler on the card that night. But damned he was funny. He nearly lied, cheated and stole that match from Brock. There was no question in the crowd's mind who won that match. Eddie could have a great match with a fire hydrant, which is about all Eddie had to work with on this night.
The WWE is not a better company with this loss. However, business aside, the world is not a better place by Eddie's passing. These are the people who make our lives better, even if they only give us one laugh a week, which is what Eddie strived to do each and every week. I sure feel for his family. He was way too young.
Eddie was one of my all time favorites. I grew up watching him on TV and have grown to love the man. He was an funny, crazy and lovable guy. I consider Eddie as family. I will definitely miss him. I'll miss him coming down the ring in his low rider, the dance he does inside the ring, his cheating ways and his wonderful sense of humor. I have mad respect for Eddie and the wwe will never be the same without.
Peace Eddie. God bless you. Thanks for the great memories.
THERE IS ONE LESS STAR BURNING HERE ON EARTH AND ONE MORE STAR ADDED TO THE NIGHT SKY TO BURN BRIGHTLY FOR ALL ETERNITY AND ITS NAME IS EDDIE GUERRERO. MUCHOS GRACIAS AMIGO,THANX FOR THE MEMORIES. WE'RE GONNA MISS OUR PAPI...AND REMEMBER EDDIE, NO MATTER WHAT THE ANGELS SAY, IT'S ALRIGHT TO "LIE...CHEAT AND STEAL" SEE U ON THE OTHER SIDE EDDIE!
DYLAN, CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
My husband Otto is a really huge fan of the WWE. I remember fussing because he kept watching during my show times We tape the show every night it is on and on different channels if we need to. Our neighbor Santiago across the street travels a lot in work so we tape it so he can watch it when he comes home. I can remember when I first saw Eddie, the smaller version but big ego guy! To see his evolution as the first Mexican American wrestler to make it in the big time... is a very nice memory of him not to mention his greatest accomplishment. I had no idea he struggled so. What faith can do. May God bless the family(s). Eddie was a mentor and a teacher to many as I was able to understand from the tribute last night on the WWE. In a bit of humor Big do cry! but a very attractive way to show your sensitivity. Yes Eddie will be missed in the physical world. But we over look the fact he is still here spiritually. Always. So to those who remember him... when you feel that brush of the cold air upon you... when you feel the presence around you and no one is there -- you are not alone... and when you feel happy for that "no reason" and smile... look up... take a deep breath... and kiss the day. Eddie is there to see you through. Don't forget to thank God for every morning you blink for the first time. My thoughts and continual prayers to all. Much love Eddie. Much Love.
Jeani Christine Villarreal Casper, Mesquite, Texas
I heard Sunday about Eddie and at first did not believe it. I can't believe that after all he has done he is gone. I never had the pleasure of meeting him but I loved watching him every time he wrestled. I feel bad cause I missed Smackdown on Friday and would have loved to see him one last time. my feelings and hope are going out to the Guerrero Family and I am truly sorry for their loss. I know that every WWE fan feels the same way when I say he will be missed. The way I see it God must have needed a little bit of latino heat.
Sincerly Yours, K.C. Michalski
I am a massive Wrestling fan, and was a big fan of Eddie Guerrero. I can't believe that he is dead. It seems unbelieveable, and I just can't understand how it can happen to a man like him. I send his family all my condolences in this sad time, and want to let them know we will all miss Eddie Guerrero.
Michael J., UK
Eddie was awesome. I remember one evening a bunch of guys were putting the gears to me when one of them mentioned I watched wrestling. Ahh, it's all bogus, it's junk, how can you be so stupid and not be ahsamed to watch that stuff, etc. One of the guys mentioned that he didn't like wrestling, but that he liked Eddie Guerrero. All of a sudden these guys were like little kids exchanging Eddie stories. Yeah, right, they didn't like wrestling, but they loved EDDIE GUERRERO!! I first became a fan of Eddie's with WCW, when he managed the Latino World Order (LWO). One of my fave memories is when Latino Heat confronted Chavo about Pepe -- the wooden stick-horse that was Chavo's manager -- how he was shaming the Guerrero name. Eddie was hilarious. Just last week, the way he won a disqualification by smacking the chair on the mat and tossing it at Kennedy when the ref turned his head, perfect timing, perfectly executed joke as always. And then Kennedy gave him a chair shot. That didn't look so good. Watching Big Show, Benoit, Batista, JBL, Regal and Angle standing at the toll of the bells Monday night tore up the family. We'll always remember Eddie Guerrero, the conniving heel we all loved. RIP.
Thomas in Waterloo, Ontario.
I was shocked to see Raw start with a tribute to Eddie. I have been a wrestling fan for over 15 years and, in my opinion, the fans had lost the greatest performer out of all the wrestlers in the ring today. I will miss him greatly. His charisma, his charm, his smile and the performance (both physical and acting abilities) are not going to be forgotten easily, and it is going to be very tough for the WWE to fill Eddie's shoes. There are many great and loved superstars in wrestling, but Eddie was by far an inspiration and a great influence for many of us.
Watching Raw today made me cry a little girl, and even though I cannot say that I am as tough as Chris Benoit, I am not a cry baby. HHH mentioned that Guerrero is now in a better place lying, cheating, and that he stole our hearts. At that time the vision that popped into my brain was the picture of Eddie with angel wings in heaven, telling something to another soul, then smiling like only Eddie could smile, following that up with an "I lied, esse!" comment.
I will ALWAYS remember you, Eddie! You truly were our Papi!
I am proud to say that I have saw Eddie wrestle live, this was in Newcastle, England when he was champ and the memory of John Cena holding Eddie's arms high and the fans going wild is a memory that will stay with me for many years. I may not have known Eddie but I know that he touched my heart and was loved by many. He was a wonderful human being who will be remembered in the hearts of everyone.
It's a crying shame when all of these guys finally get their acts together that their bodies are long past the point of recuperating. I grew up watching Eddie and all of the others we've lost in the last 10 years and it breaks my heart every time one of them passes on. Here's to Eddie, Hawk, Hennig, Pillman and all of the others who are in the great ring in the sky. They are sadly missed.
I will miss Eddie Guerrero SOO much. I will miss his comedy he brought out with him every Monday night on RAW. Raw will never be the same. His legend will be carried down from Generation to Generation...he will live on forever in our Hearts... GOD BLESS YOU EDDIE...

I once met EDDIE on October 11 2004 and I was the first person to meet him he was very nice to me. Sorry Chavo and the rest of the Guerrero family and I will never forget him in a MILLION years I'm just so shocked and I hope he will rest in peace.

I have never been a huge wresting fan until the summer of 2005. My first time watching the sport, I really enjoyed watching Eddie. He had some great moves and was very good looking. I guess the memories that really stand out to me are the ones this year against Rey Mysterio. I always looked forward to watching Eddie each week, but now I will just remember him. Rest in peace Eddie.

Eddie was the true show stealer! His smirk was something that put a smile on my face. As a person who is generally not happy on the inside, I appreciated Eddie's to put on the smile through good times and bad. He was one of the best entertainers I have ever seen in wresting. I have never been so sad about a person I didn't personally know but with Eddie it feels like I knew him well. Long live Eddie Guerrero! You will be dearly missed!

I KNOW HIS NAME WILL LIVE ON. HE ALWAYS PUT ON A GOOD SHOW FOR HIS FANS.
THANKS, RONDA FONTENOT
Eddie was a man who I truly respected. He brought life to the WWE. I say he really had latino heat inside him. I loved the celebration at Wrestlemania when Chris Beniot and Eddie where celebrating. Eddie should not of died at the age of 38. He was a great wrestler. He deserves to be in the hall of fame. When I first got told Eddie died on Monday morning I thought my friend was lying. I got home looked on wwe.com and I saw it. It felt like another bit of my soul taken away as a fan. I understand how the family feels. You probably think that you will never be happy again. That's not true. Eddie would of wanted you to carry on with your life so do it. Eddie Guerrero will be missed and never forgoten.
THERE IS ONE LESS STAR BURNING HERE ON EARTH AND ONE MORE STAR ADDED TO THE NIGHT SKY TO BURN FOR ALL ETERNITY AND ITS NAME IS EDDIE GUERRERO, MUCHOS GRACIAS AMIGO AND THANX FOR THE MEMORIES. WE'RE GUNA MISS OUR PAPI.

I've been a wrestling fan for over 20 years and there has not been a wrestler that has impressed me more than Eddie Guerrero. I've gained so much respect for him because he never BS'ed the fans - during the times they loved him or when they hated him. He earned my respect after admitting that he had his demons in the past, worked on himself as an individual and pressed on forward towards winning the WWE Championship. Ironically, I was watching his last match on Smackdown against Mr. Kennedy before my cousin told me the news and I just sat there stunned. One of the main reasons that I had purchased my ticket to Wrestlemania 22 next year was to see Eddie perform in person. My heart, thoughts and prayers goes out to the Guerrero family and all of his friends in the wrestling industry. He was a great man who taught me that good guys can win in the end. LATINO HEAT 4 EVER!!!!

I saw Eddie Guerrero?s fights from the beginning right here in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. He was one of the greatest fighters in La lucha libre Mexicana, and later, one of the greatest fighters in the world. We are very proud of him, we will miss Eddie, but the most important thing is that we will always remember you!!!
Viva La Raza!!
RIP Eddie Guerrero
