READER FEEDBACK: Send in your memories of Eddie Guerrero, and we'll collect them into a story to be shared with others. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Eddie Guerrero was a wonderful competitor as a U.K. World Wrestling Entertainment fan I was lucky to see him perform on both the occasions I've been to see an event over here in the U.K. He was unlike any other of his weight and size he was respected by the fans and everyone wanted to see Eddie Guerrero try to steal the show because we knew that's always what he wanted to deliver to fans across the wrestling globe, he wanted to give it his utmost performance he always was a part the special ingredient that helped the show.
Many people underestimated of how much Eddie contributed to the nights he performed, but I think as people went home they must of thought 'Eddie did great tonight'.
No More Though ... So long Eddie You Shall Be Missed.
U.K Eddie Fan VIVA LA RAZA
I rememeber talking to Eddie here at in Albany when he was at the Pepsi Arena. The day after he cut the mullet and he came here and it was cold he laughed and said maybe he should have waited till after he was here to do it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Eddie we love u and and you'll be missed.
I was in shock when I had read that "Latino Heat" Eddie Gurrero had passed away. All I can is that he'll be able to entertain heaven just like he entertained the fans. My most enjoyed memories of Eddie will be the way he always have a steel chair as the ref was knocked out and then start to come too, would come too. As he tossed the chair over at whomever he faced, he lied down as the ref questioned the use of the chair as he smiled and waved at the other wrestlers. That always made me laugh and had me smiling! It's a sad thing to hear about his death all his fans will remember him for who he is and what he did. Including his four month on top of the in 2004 as WWE Champion! Will miss you Eddie Guerrero may you R.I.P.
Damn, I still can't believe it. The one latino that actually made it through things that all latinos battle through and now he is gone. "Latino heat" dude I'm gonna miss him so much I know anywere he is at he will always be looking down on us and I know that we will never forget him R.I.P
I'm not an emotional person, but only one make me cry once. That one was Eddie when he won the WWE championship defeating Brock Lesnar. I'm still don't believe that, but for all Guerrero family I hope that you find peace expecting that Eddie is on a better place.
This definitly is a dark day in the world of professional wrestling. Thanks for all the memories Eddie, the entire wrestling world and all the fans will miss you dearly.
R.I.P Eddie Guerrero
Eddie Guerrero was a total Mexican and he was the the best. He always so cool and awesome he was my idol but sadly now he passed away but in my heart he is always with us and will always be there in our hearts.
It is crazy because just a few weeks ago we hated him and he becomes a babyface again only to die weeks later.
Sat here in the UK still in a state of shock after hearing of Eddie's sudden passing yesterday. My kids are distraught, they are off to their first wrestling match next week in the UK and were so excited about seeing Eddie. I have told the kids and their freinds don't be sad but celebrate his life and the huge amount of joy he put into people's hearts. I will especially miss that cheeky cheeky smile of his oh God what a character. Our thought go out to his wonderfull family and all his freinds at this sad time. Latino heat will burn for ever more.
Good night and God bless you Eddie xxxx

I am sorry to here that Eddie Guerrero died. My condolences go out to the famliy.
I am a huge WWE fan and the loss of one of the most popular superstars is a sad time and I along with many other wrestling fan will miss Eddie Guerrero. I am so proud of the way he cleaned up from the drug use. Even tho I have only seen him on TV it means a lot to see someone take control over his body and know when it's time to get help like he did.
Well what can I say. I was pretty shocked cause Eddie Was my hero. I'll never forget him. He was a great man and a great father. I just wish his family luck and you guyz will be in my prayerz tonight. Eddie your the best.

I was absolutely shocked and terribly, terribly saddened to hear that Eddie died. He was the greatest and I will miss him. For me, he was the highlight of Smackdown, or any place he wrestled. I send my deepest sympathies to his entire family, especially his wife and daughters. Viva Latino Heat!!!!
When I woke up on Sunday and did my daily ritual of reading wrestling news, I was shocked. Before my very eyes, I was reading about the death of a true wrestling icon, Eddie Guerrero. I am still in a state of shock.
On behalf of all wrestling fans, we thank you. Thank you for providing us years of great matches and great moments in wrestling.
We loved Eddie!!! I'll never forget when he did his flyin' frog splash, a few years ago, and broke his arm. We were watching and saw it so clearly, I cried, of course (Miss Emotional). I've had this certain love for him since then. I guess, it kind of humanized it all for me. I can't wait to see what is done on Raw and Smackdown this week. This is the time we get to see how much these Guys really love each other :o(
Love to his family,
Mrs. Amy Gruic
Eddie! will always be remembered. He will always be in our hearts. Eddie Guerrero was one of da best wrestlers in history. He won't ever be forgotten he will always live in our hearts and there he will never die. I pray for his family and for Eddie that he will watch over all of us.
I always dug Eddie Guerrero's work. I began noticing him when he came to the WWF in 2000 with the Radicalz and all that.
I remember loving Eddie, especially, when he was a heel in 2002. I was happy to see that the bandwagon caught on with the SCREAMS of "Eddie! Eddie!" when he was the title in 2004. I still loved him this past summer, didn't care what he did in character.
I am a born-again Christian and I was pleased to know that Eddie was one as well. Just reading a few interviews over the course of the day, Eddie was sincere and loves (still!) Jesus Christ. Jesus gives eternal life to those who ask for it and Eddie accepted and look at the amazing career he had!!
Eddie always held on to his faith and I shed tears every time he came out during his title run saying that his win over Lensar was done "By the Grace of God!" and the peace and happiness on his faith. That's not a shoot, that's real. I thank the Lord that He made Eddie Guerrero and that his life was a beautiful testimony on what happens to a person who lives their life for God.
"I find that as long as I keep God in my life as No. 1, everything else falls into place... I don't base my strength on people or other human attributes, because we're all human and let people down. My strength is based in Jesus Christ. I base my strength on Him. I realize it's not just getting on my knees and saying, 'Oh, God, save me.' If I ask for help, God gives me help... He gives you the help, you have to reach our and grab it."
I was not really a wrestling fan, but after watching , I got to enjoy Eddie Guerrero. He had the style and the mouth to go with the "game". My sincere condolences to the Guerrero family.
Kind Regards, Diane Delport
My tears will fall for a long time at the loss of Eddie Guerrero. My prayers go out to his family, friends and fans. SmackDown will never be the same! In fact the industry of wrestling will never be the same. I'm sure going to miss that "Booby Dance"! He was taken from us way too soon, so my guess is that God must have just really loved him so much and just wanted to be closer to him.
As a wrestling fan for over 30 years, I considered Eddie one of the greatest wrestlers I ever saw. His physical and technical prowess was a constant through out his career. His ability to tell and sell a story during a match were among the greats of any generation of stars. His charisma made it impossible not to watch him even if he was standing on the ring apron during a tag match. Above all these attributes combined only transcend into greatness when the individual truly loves what he is ding, as did Eddie.
As a recovering alcoholic I shared an unspoken bond with Eddie though we never met. Upon hearing of his troubles and subsequent recovery through rehab I was happy and proud for him during his championship run. It meant something to me that the company would place their trust in him to be the standard bearer.
I deeply hope Eddie's demise was not a direct result of his addictions. But mostly my prayers are for his wife and children.
Sincerely, Mark Dagenais
In Loving Memory of a Great Man, Wrestler, Husband, Father, Son and Brother: My memories of Eddie Guerrero will always be of his fun loving nature. You could tell by the shine in his eyes that he loved his job! He was so funny at times and really entertaining to watch. Even when he was lying, cheating and stealing you had to love him! I will miss him and WWe wont be the same without Latino Heat and his unique dancing and lowriders! God Bless The Guerreros!!
Sincerely, Kellie Ward
Eddie was such an ispiration for me and his fans the amazing things he could do in a ring to entertain was just fantastic. He really cared about his fans and was so emotional when he came over to Austraila sharing his stories. I will never forget a great man like that!
I am very saddened for the loss of one of wrestling's greatest. Ever since I found out about Eddie's death, I can't stop thinking about the memories he left behind. Especially when he Frog Splashed JBL from the top of the steel cage when "Smackdown" came to Providence; I was sitting just five rows away. As a huge wrestling fan, I will miss Eddie. "Viva la Raza."
Eddie you were a champion...
I really cannot believe this at all. I came home from school today, logged onto the internet and went onto wwe.com to look up some recent news, and never expecting to find news like this.
I was devastated. I am 17 and have been a WWE fan since I was 10 years old. I have always admired Eddie Guerrero. He was such an entertaining, inspirationaly person, whom I liked and respected a lot. When the WWE Smackdown came to Australia early this year, I was lucky enough to go and watch Eddie perform, in the prime of his career. He was great that night. The crowd was cheering him greatly, it was so amazing Eddie, u will be greatly missed by all who loved and respected you. My thoughts go out to Eddie's family and the WWE...
RIP Eddie x0x0x0
My one and only live memory of Eddie was when I saw him live at Summerslam 2004 in Toronto VS Kurt Angle. That match to me was absolutely one of the best live performances I think I have ever seen in person or from a TV, and I think his second greatest match ever was VS Rob Van Dam in the Ladder Match on Raw in 2002 after he fought his demons, came back and performed on such a high class level, even though the match was not for the heavyweight title I definitely gave him my ultimate respect.

How sad for his family, for his nephew to find his uncle passed away. I send my deepest condolences to his family and friends. He seemed like a fun and happy guy. I loved watching him on the WWE, he always made me laugh, he was great, being the second person of hispanic ethnicity to get the championship is inspirational for my little boys, they love him and Rey Mysterio. It's great for them to see other Mexicans being successful in all fields, the world has truly lost a great person.
Thanks for the entertainment, you were great.
So long Eddie.
Eddie was awesome. I remember him when he was back in WCW. When I was going into the show I saw him standing outside and I was like WOW it's Eddie.. He was so cool, I used to copy his moves haha. My prayers go to him and his family. R.I.P....
You were the best-Sarah
I cannot believe it, this feels like it is a dream. My 9 year idolises Eddie I have yet to break the news to him that his favourite wrestler is gone. I'm not even sure how to break it to him. Eddie you were an amazing inspiration to many people out there who suffered and deal with their demons every day. My son idolises you not just that You are a Entertainer YES But foremost you are a Husband and A Father. These are the people you have to truly feel for.
God Bless the Guerrero Family. Just know Eddie is in my thoughts and prayers and life right now feels like a dream without us knowing Eddie is no longer with us.

The first time I saw Eddie was back in 1994. I was 3 years old and saw him in a hardcore match. I wanted to have the same exact low rider, and that was all could think about besides wanting to be like him. R.I.P. EDDIE ( LATINO HEAT) You are the best. We will miss you...
Sincerely Michael Tucker

I was checking the WWE website when I saw that Eddie passed away, and I'm still in shock, because I am the same age as he was, and I remember the first time I saw Eddie wrestle. It was the AAA promotion pay per view in the early nineties when he and his late partner had the hair vs mask match. I also watched Eddie when he was in WCW as well as when he was in ECW, and when he came to the WWE he was a great performer as are all of his family. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, as well as the wrestling world as we have lost in my book one of the best wrestlers in the world. R.I.P. eddie.
I shall remember Eddie he was a great man, he was loving I am not his biggest fan, but I loved him he was a really nice wrestler he should have become a legend and become one of the greatest wrestlers ever.. I will miss him so much not being able to see him anymore.
Eddie Guererro was by far the best wrestler of his age. It is tragic the way he died at such a young age. I feel sorry for the Guererro family and friends.
I remember going to my first WCW show when I was a kid and seeing Eddie Guerrero wrestle for the first time in my life. I was amazed at his high flying death defying moves. I forget who he wrestled, I think it was Chris Benoit though, but I do remember him winning. Since that day, I have been a fan of his. I remember watching video from him in ECW, since Michigan didn't pick up ECW until almost the end of it, and skipping all the matches just so I could see Eddie's first. When he went to WWE I was ecstatic. I never thought that I would see him in a WWE ring. I have always been a fan of WWE over WCW. Only reason I watched WCW was for Eddie Guerrero and the guys from WWE that went there like most of the NWO. Since hearing of his passing I am saddened. I was supposed to go to Survivor Series and was excited about the actual Survivor Series match in which he was supposed to wrestle but now I don't know what's going on. I just know, that I am going to miss Eddie Guerrero. Also in closing I want to say that I think it's cool of the TNA wrestlers who worked with Eddie Guerrero such as, Konnan and the Dddley Boys to give Eddie a shout and for TNA to dedicate their entire PPV to his memory. It was nice.
I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Eddie Guerrero. My thoughts and prayers go to Eddie's wife and children at this immensely difficult time. I hope they can take some comfort in knowing that Eddie bought so much joy and laughter to the world. Eddie's memory will live on, not only in his children but he will forever be remembered for his in ring style which influenced so many of today's wrestlers, and will influence so many more in the years ahead. I had the great pleasure of seeing Eddie wrestle a few times and I have to say that his personality shone through even to those of us in the nosebleed section!!
Eddie's openness and honesty about his personal battles made it easier for me to discuss with my friends and family the demons I was hiding, and my life is so much better because of it. Eddie was an inspiration to me and I will always remember him.
God bless and rest in peace.
I will always have memories of Eddie. I saw Eddie at Smackdown on the 26, April 2005. He had a great match against MNM. My greatest memory of Eddie was when he won the WWE Championship against Brock Lesner at No Way Out. I was so happy for him. I almost cried. The day I found out he passed away I cried. I looked at all my DVDs, Videos and posters of Eddie and said "He's in a better place now and he's with loads of great superstars, like Andre the Giant, Owen Hart, British Bulldog and also, Big Bossman. Plus all his other family in heaven. I hope they make a book about Eddie Guerrero. Good luck to Eddie's family and freinds his freinds in the locker room. Eddie thank you for butting your body on the line for us fans around the world. You're memory will go on forever...
VIVA LA RAZA!
Rest in peace.

Eddie was and is, an inspiration to all worldwide.
In the world of WWE "big men," Eddie reached heights nobody thought possible of someone his size, and his style. His dedication, athletic prowess, and ability to entertain millions of people made him known world wide. It has been an honor to watch Eddie perform; and he will undoubtedly go down as one of the most gifted in WWE ring performers wrestling history. Although he is gone, his legacy will live on in our hearts, souls, and memories forever. I loved Eddie and all the tricks he played, I will truly miss him. Goodbye Eddie, and thank you for sharing your life on the screen with us.
Rest in Peace.
