Nash hospitalized, out of PPV

According to the TNA website, Kevin Nash was hospitalized Saturday in Orlando, Florida, and will not be able to wrestle on tonight's pay-per-view main event.

"On Sunday, TNA management learned that Kevin Nash will not be medically cleared to compete tonight in the main event of 'Bound For Glory' for the NWA World Heavyweight Title," wrote TNAwrestling.com. "TNA management official Terry Taylor spent the night with Nash at the hospital, who also had his family in attendance. Nash was admitted to an Orlando hospital on Saturday afternoon after dialing 911 from his hotel room shortly before the fanfest.

This weekend in Orlando, TNA is running a Fan Festival to go along with its major PPV Sunday night, Bound For Glory. Nash was scheduled to challenge NWA World heavyweight champion Jeff Jarrett in the main event tonight.

According to TNA, Jarrett will still defend the title tonight, but a foe was not announced. The promotion did announce, however, the addition of two matches to Bound For Glory -- a rematch for the NWA World tag team titles between new champions, America's Most Wanted, and the Naturals, as well as a grudge match between 3Live Kru (BG James, Konnan and Ron Killings) vs Team Canada (Bobby Roode, Eric Young and A1).

Nash has had a series of health issues that have interfered with his durability in pro wrestling. In April 2005, he bailed on TNA's Lockdown PPV due to a staph infection

In August 2003, he collapsed during an autograph signing in Melbourne, Australia while on tour with WWE. At the time, it was claimed to be exhaustion.

His worst luck, however, came in his aborted WWE run of 2002, where he torn a bicep in April and underwent surgery. In July, he injured his quadracept muscle and was sidelined again.
